The Creeks RV Resort Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cave Springs, Arkansas area, The Creeks RV Resort, located at 1499 S Main St, Cave Springs, AR 72718, USA, presents a unique option with its setting directly on a golf course. Offering a blend of natural beauty and convenient access to nearby attractions, this RV park has garnered varied feedback from its visitors, providing a comprehensive picture for potential local users.
One of the frequently praised aspects of The Creeks RV Resort is its potentially beautiful and quiet campground environment. Situated right on a golf course, many sites offer pleasant views, including a small pond and a dog park island within it. This picturesque setting can contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay, allowing guests to appreciate the natural surroundings. However, it's important to note that some guests have reported experiencing traffic noise during morning and evening hours due to the park's proximity to a two-lane busy road. Therefore, the level of tranquility might vary depending on the specific site you are allocated within the resort.
In terms of amenities, The Creeks RV Resort offers essential facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. Guests have consistently highlighted the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which is a significant factor for many RV travelers. Additionally, the availability of two washers and dryers is appreciated for handling laundry needs. While this number might be sufficient for some, it's worth considering potential wait times during peak seasons. The park also provides Wi-Fi access, which has been described as "pretty good," although some users have experienced occasional short periods of slowness. For those relying on a stable internet connection, this intermittent slowdown might be a consideration.
The physical infrastructure of the RV sites includes concrete pads that are reported to be level, which is crucial for ensuring the stability and proper functioning of your RV. This feature contributes to a more comfortable and hassle-free setup. Furthermore, The Creeks RV Resort boasts easy access to downtown Bentonville, located just 10 minutes away. This proximity is a significant advantage for those wishing to explore the cultural, dining, and shopping options available in Bentonville, a vibrant and growing city in Northwest Arkansas.
The staff at The Creeks RV Resort have also received positive feedback. One reviewer specifically mentioned a "young man at the clubhouse/check in that's there every day" who is described as "super friendly and polite." Positive interactions with staff can greatly enhance the overall guest experience, making visitors feel welcome and valued.
However, alongside these positive aspects, some critical feedback has been shared by visitors, particularly regarding the overall nature and management of the property. One guest expressed disappointment, anticipating a resort-style experience on a golf course, but instead found what they perceived to be primarily a long-term stay RV park. This discrepancy between expectation and reality is an important point for potential visitors to consider. The review suggests that the park might cater more towards longer-term residents, which could influence the overall atmosphere and the availability of certain resort-style amenities.
Concerns have also been raised about the ease of access to and from the RV park. One reviewer noted that entering and exiting can be challenging due to a blind spot in the roads and a lack of adequate signage. This is a significant safety consideration for those navigating the area with large RVs and could potentially lead to stressful arrival and departure experiences.
Furthermore, the prevalence of long-term residents has reportedly impacted the aesthetic and functional aspects of the RV park. The review mentions multiple vehicles per site, some of which are described as inoperable and parked on the grass. Additionally, the presence of storage units, tarps, decks attached to units, and small business signs posted in lawns suggests a more permanent living environment rather than a transient resort setting. The sites are also described as small, and the absence of tables at some sites could be inconvenient for short-term visitors looking for basic outdoor amenities.
A specific incident was also reported where a resident's motor coach extended into the drive, making it difficult for other guests to maneuver their RVs, particularly when trying to pull out of their spots. This suggests potential issues with the enforcement of park rules and regulations, which, according to the reviewer, is detracting from the park's potential to be a true destination resort, aligning with its name.
Based on the available reviews, it appears that The Creeks RV Resort might be well-suited for individuals seeking a long-term stay in the Cave Springs or Bentonville area, particularly if employment or other commitments lead them there. The level concrete pads, clean bathrooms, and access to laundry facilities are practical advantages for extended stays. However, for those specifically looking for a vacation-oriented "resort" experience with a focus on short-term leisure and resort-style amenities, it might be prudent to consider other options in the vicinity. The current environment seems to lean more towards a functional long-term living space rather than a recreational resort destination.
In conclusion, The Creeks RV Resort offers a location with potential beauty and convenient access to Bentonville. It provides essential amenities like clean bathrooms, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi, along with level concrete pads. The friendly staff, particularly the individual at the check-in, is a definite asset. However, potential local users should be aware of the reported traffic noise on certain sites, the challenges with entering and exiting the park, and the prevailing atmosphere of a long-term stay RV park rather than a resort. While it might serve as a practical option for extended stays, vacationers seeking a traditional resort experience might need to explore alternative "RV parks near me" that better align with their expectations. The Creeks RV Resort Reviews
Beautiful quiet campground, though depending on your site may hear some traffic am and pm as it's near a 2 lane busy road. Right on the golf course with views of small pond and small dog park island in it. Bathrooms super clean. 2 washer and dryers get the job done. Wifi is pretty good, occasionally slow for short periods. Concrete pads level. Easy access to downtown Bentonville 10 min. Didn’t catch his name, but the young man at the clubhouse/check in that's there every day is super friendly and polite! Will Definitely come here again!
Apr 07, 2025 · Yvonne WhitleyWe anticipated a resort on a golf course only to find a long term stay rv park. Disappointed because it has potential to be a resort on a golf course. Entering and exiting is a challenge due to blind spot in the roads and lack of signage. Many sites have permanent residents and is evident by multiple vehicles per site(some inoperable and parked on the grass), storage units, tarps, decks attached to units, small business signs posted in lawns, and small sites with no tables. One resident had his motor coach extending out in the drive making it a challenge for us to pull out of our spot. Rules are obviously not enforced and it is ruining what could be a destination resort as the name leads you to believe. If you are needing a place to stay for extended periods such as employment leads you here, then this is it. If your vacationing, I would consider other places.
Jun 25, 2024 · Javier PollockAwesome place. Plenty of room for our 41 foot rv towing. Sunset was spectacular.
Nov 21, 2024 · Linda PerryWasn't thrilled with this "resort" when we first got there, but it grew on us as the week went on. Pull through lots, no picnic tables or grills, A LOT of full time live-ins. Was quiet and since our "patio" faced the pond, we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets across the water and golf course. Staff is nice and they offer military discounts. Full hookups. Would go there again if I wanted an inexpensive stay for our 44ft 5th wheel.
Jul 13, 2023 · Lisa V Kennedy, LCSWThe positive: sites are long enough for a 40' 5th wheel and truck. Location is convenient to all the sights. Full hookup is great. Wi Fi was good. The cons: site was not level. Alot of full timers. So many sites had 2 or more vehicles. They start leaving for work around 6:30 so forget sleeping in. For $65 a night, it's overpriced. No picnic table, not well maintained and rules are not enforced. The web sight states nothing over 10 yrs old and less than 30' (not sure I understand that), but they had both.
