Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area, Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 2556 W Mt Comfort Rd #29-30, Fayetteville, AR 72704, USA, offers a distinctive long-term stay experience. You can contact Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park by phone at (479) 442-6225 or via their mobile number +1 479-442-6225 to inquire about availability for monthly or extended stays. Based on the positive feedback from recent customer reviews, this introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the environment, services, and features of Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park, highlighting its unique characteristics as a transitioning community.
One of the most significant advantages of Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park, as noted by a long-term guest who stayed for four months during a relocation, is the spaciousness of the sites. The park is described as an "older mobile home park slowly transitioning to RVs as permanent units are removed." This transition has resulted in RV spaces that are "large and individually landscaped," providing a sense of privacy and personal space that is often lacking in more traditional RV parks. The feeling of having "personal yards" is a unique feature that sets Trailwood apart and could be particularly appealing to those planning an extended stay and valuing outdoor living space.
In terms of services, Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park operates somewhat differently from typical RV parks. Residents are responsible for placing their trash in residential dumpsters and utilize on-site recycle bins for weekly pickup. It is crucial to note that the park "does not have RV park-type amenities," specifically mentioning the absence of public restrooms other than those within individual RV units. This is a significant consideration for RVers who rely on communal facilities.
Despite the limited traditional RV park amenities, Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park boasts an "excellent location." While the specific details of nearby attractions or services are not provided in the reviews, the positive mention of its location suggests convenient access to the amenities and attractions of Fayetteville and northwest Arkansas. This could include proximity to shopping, dining, entertainment, and natural beauty that the region is known for.
Another notable positive aspect is the welcoming attitude of the owner, Danny. One reviewer described him as "friendly and helpful" and highlighted a significant benefit for owners of older RVs: "we weren't denied a space because our motorhome (which looks new on the outside) is a 2002!" This indicates a more flexible approach to RV age restrictions compared to some parks that may have stricter policies. However, it's also mentioned that the owner "does not keep regular office hours" but is "very responsive to calls and messages." This suggests that while on-site, immediate assistance in a traditional office setting might not always be available, the owner is readily reachable and attentive to resident needs.
The overall experience of the long-term guest was positive, as they stated, "We have been comfortable and happy here, and would especially recommend it for monthly or longer stays." This endorsement underscores the suitability of Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park for those planning to reside in the area for an extended period and appreciate the spacious sites and responsive owner.
A second reviewer, a traveling nurse, also had a highly positive experience, describing Trailwood as "truly a beautiful and safe place to stay." They echoed the praise for the owner, Danny, stating that he "goes above and beyond!" This further reinforces the impression of a well-managed park with a caring and helpful owner. The traveling nurse also highlighted that the park is "very well maintained" and "beautifully landscaped," contradicting the earlier review's lack of emphasis on landscaping and suggesting that the individual landscaping of each large site contributes to the overall beauty of the park. This difference in perspective might reflect variations in site locations or the ongoing transition of the park.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park offers a unique option for those seeking long-term RV stays in Fayetteville, AR. Its transitioning nature from a mobile home park to an RV park has resulted in exceptionally large and often individually landscaped spaces, providing a more residential feel than typical RV parks. The excellent location offers convenient access to the area's amenities, and the friendly and responsive owner, Danny, is a significant asset. However, potential residents must be aware that traditional RV park amenities such as public restrooms are not available.
The services at Trailwood focus on basic infrastructure for long-term living, including trash and recycling pickup at each site. The absence of communal restrooms implies that all RVs staying at the park must be fully self-contained with their own bathroom facilities. The positive comments about the park being "very well maintained" by the traveling nurse suggest that while it may be an older park, there is an ongoing effort to keep the grounds in good condition.
The features of Trailwood are primarily its large, individually landscaped sites, excellent location in Fayetteville, and the friendly and responsive owner. The acceptance of older RVs (at least in one instance) might also be considered a feature for those with well-maintained but older models. However, the lack of traditional RV park amenities like restrooms should be carefully considered.
The provided reviews do not contain any specific promotional information such as discounts for extended stays or seasonal offers. Local users interested in pricing and availability for monthly or longer stays should contact the owner, Danny, directly at the provided phone numbers.
In conclusion, Trailwood Mobile Home & RV Park in Fayetteville, AR, offers a distinct long-term RV living experience characterized by spacious, individually landscaped sites and a friendly, responsive owner. Its excellent location provides convenient access to the Fayetteville area. However, it lacks traditional RV park amenities like public restrooms, so self-contained RVs are necessary. The positive experiences of long-term residents and the traveling nurse highlight the comfort, safety, and beauty of the park, making it a recommended option for those planning an extended stay in northwest Arkansas and valuing space and a personal touch from the owner. Local users should contact Danny directly for information on pricing and availability for their long-term RV needs.

We stayed 4 months during our relocation to northwest Arkansas. This is an older mobile home park slowly transitioning to RVs as permanent units are removed. Because of this, spaces are large and individually landscaped, so feel very much like personal yards.Trash is placed in residential dumpsters and recyle bins at the site for weekly pickup. There are no RV park-type amenities, including no restrooms other than your own.But the location is excellent and we weren't denied a space because our motorhome (which looks new on the outside) is a 2002! The owner is friendly and helpful, but does not keep regular office hours. Sep 28, 2021 · Diane VigeantI’m a traveling nurse and this is truly a beautiful and safe place to stay. Danny (the owner) goes above and beyond! This park is very well maintained, a great location and beautifully landscaped.
Oct 24, 2022 · Linda SullivanIf this is the park I'm thinking and hoping it is, my grandparents have lives there for YEARS as well as my youngest uncle. Its ALWAYS looked very well maintained. Very nice curb appeal, that isn't done by the customers themselves. I know Grandpa likes to make his space his... Or did rather... This place holds special memories for me jus bc of them. Went and visited about 8 years ago and I gotta say, I'd give the same review. I would choose this place over any other to be quite honest
Jun 07, 2024 · Bonnie NoKlyde (Jamie)The manager has no emotional control. Big guy. Very aggressive and controlling. Had to call the cops because he blocked us in with his truck acting all aggressive freaking out about not doing things his way. Things that had nothing to do with him. It was wierd. Never seen that type of control freak. Worst experience we have ever had in a park community like this.
Nov 08, 2023 · James McDanielWe have lived here for 3 months. It’s a great quiet neighborhood. We have felt safe. The neighbors great and so is the location. It is a mobile home park that is converting to RV. It does not have laundry but does have a nice playground. We would recommend for a long or short stay. Tip- It is divided into 2 areas. The back street is nice and quiet at night.
