Fairhaven Wv Campground Introduce
If you're searching for "rv parks near me" in the Chester, West Virginia area, Fairhaven Wv Campground, located at 2689 SHEPHERD'S VALLEY RD, Sheperds Valley Rd, Chester, WV 26034, USA, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available customer feedback. Understanding both the positive and negative aspects mentioned in these reviews is crucial for local users considering this location for their RV or camping needs.
The environment of Fairhaven Wv Campground is described by one reviewer as "very beautiful with a country like setting." This suggests that the park offers a tranquil and scenic atmosphere, potentially appealing to those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the noise and congestion of city life. The same reviewer also noted that the location is "close to great amenities yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city life," indicating a balance between rural charm and convenient access to necessities and attractions.
In terms of services and management, one review stands out for its highly positive description of the landlords. They are referred to as "the most kindest people you will ever meet." Such positive feedback regarding the park's management can significantly enhance the overall experience for residents and visitors, suggesting a welcoming and supportive environment. The same reviewer also highlighted that the park is "very small," which they perceived as contributing to "just the right amount of comfort and peace." This small size might appeal to those seeking a more intimate and quiet RV park experience.
However, a contrasting review raises a significant concern regarding the accessibility of the campground, particularly for larger RVs. The reviewer explicitly warned against attempting to drive to the location in a "dulley" truck with the intention of bringing a 38ft toy hauler in the future. They stated they "absolutely would not take the roads to get to this place," describing the surroundings as looking like "old houses and stuff everywhere" with "no campers or sites that we could see." This strongly negative feedback suggests potential issues with road conditions leading to the campground and the general appearance or suitability of the location for RVs. The reviewer also noted "no turn around anywhere," which could pose a significant challenge for maneuvering larger vehicles.
Features of Fairhaven Wv Campground are not extensively detailed in the provided reviews. The positive review mentions a "country like setting" and the small size of the park as desirable features contributing to peace and comfort. However, the negative review's observation of "no campers or sites that we could see" is concerning and suggests a lack of typical RV park infrastructure or visibility, at least from the perspective of someone approaching the location. Potential users should seek clarification on the availability and nature of RV sites, hook-ups (water, electricity, sewer), and other essential amenities.
The discrepancy between the two reviews is stark. One portrays a beautiful, peaceful park with exceptionally kind landlords, while the other warns of difficult road access and a seemingly unsuitable environment for RVs. This highlights the importance of gathering more information and potentially visiting the location to assess the current conditions and suitability for individual needs.
Promotional information is not explicitly available in the provided reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to comment on any special offers, amenities beyond the setting and landlord kindness, or unique selling points that Fairhaven Wv Campground might currently be promoting. Local users interested in learning more about potential promotional deals, long-term rates, or specific amenities for RVs should contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (304) 374-5571 or +1 304-374-5571.
In conclusion, Fairhaven Wv Campground in Chester, West Virginia, presents a complex picture for those searching for "rv parks near me." While one review praises its beautiful country setting, peaceful atmosphere due to its small size, and exceptionally kind landlords, another review strongly advises against visiting, citing difficult road access, an unappealing environment, and a lack of visible RV sites. This significant divergence in feedback suggests that potential visitors, especially those with larger RVs, should exercise caution and seek further information before considering a stay. Contacting the park directly to inquire about road conditions, the availability and nature of RV sites and amenities, and potentially visiting the location to assess its suitability are highly recommended steps. The kindness of the landlords, as highlighted in one review, could be a significant positive aspect, but it needs to be weighed against the potential challenges related to accessibility and infrastructure suggested by the other review.

Fairhaven Wv Campground Reviews
Warning!!! Drove here in our dulley 1st to see if the next time it would be a good spot to stay. I will pull our 38ft toy hauler just about anywhere, but I absolutely would not take the roads to get to this place, and it just looks like old houses and stuff everywhere. No campers or sites that we could see. Strongly advise avoiding this situation! No turn around anywhere either!
