Far Horizon Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those exploring "RV parks near me" in the Clearwater, Florida vicinity, Far Horizon Mobile Home Park, located at 2580 Nursery Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764, USA, offers a residential community that may accommodate RVs for long-term stays. While primarily a mobile home park, such communities can provide a stable living environment for individuals seeking an extended stay in the Clearwater area, with potential access to local amenities and a community atmosphere.
Far Horizon Mobile Home Park boasts a "great location," according to a long-term resident of four years. Clearwater is renowned for its beautiful beaches, vibrant downtown area, and numerous attractions along Florida's Gulf Coast. The park's proximity, being just "10 minutes from the beach," is a significant environmental and lifestyle advantage, offering residents easy access to sun, sand, and recreational activities. The surrounding towns also host "monthly street parties," suggesting a lively local scene and opportunities for community engagement beyond the park itself.
One positive review highlights that the "property is maintained first class," indicating a well-kept and aesthetically pleasing environment within the park. This suggests attention to landscaping and the overall appearance of the community, contributing to a comfortable living experience for residents. The presence of mature landscaping, common in Florida mobile home parks, could provide shade and a pleasant atmosphere.
Information regarding specific services and amenities at Far Horizon Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews:
- Property Maintenance: One resident praises the "first class" maintenance of the property, which would typically include lawn care, upkeep of common areas, and potentially maintenance of infrastructure. However, another review presents a starkly contrasting view, stating, "The lawn care people have more rights than the residents. Your property can be destroyed and the management will not stand behind residents." This serious allegation suggests potential conflicts or a lack of support for residents regarding property issues, at least according to one individual's experience.
- Management Responsiveness: A positive review commends the property manager, Mike, for being "always available" and promptly addressing any issues, stating, "If there’s any issues he takes care of it right away. You do not get this type of management and other parks." This suggests a high level of service and care from the management. Conversely, the negative review implies a management that is unsupportive and perhaps inaccessible, stating, "It would be nice if we could get a management but they're too important for us." This discrepancy in experiences highlights the importance of further investigation into the current management practices.
- Affordability: A significant advantage mentioned is that the park is "very affordable," with lot rent being "much less than the surrounding areas." This could be a major draw for those seeking cost-effective living options in the desirable Clearwater location.
- Upgrades and Investment: The positive review notes that the "new owner has invested over $200,000 in upgrades," which is seen as a benefit that "raises the value of your home." These upgrades could encompass various aspects of the park, such as infrastructure, amenities, or common areas, potentially enhancing the quality of life for residents. Specific details about these upgrades are not provided.
The stark contrast in the reviews regarding management support and property rights is a critical point that potential residents should carefully consider and investigate further.
Living at Far Horizon Mobile Home Park in Clearwater could offer several features, but also presents potential drawbacks based on the available feedback:
- Prime Location: The proximity to Clearwater Beach and the surrounding vibrant towns with their monthly street parties is a significant lifestyle feature, offering recreational and social opportunities.
- Affordability: The reportedly lower lot rent compared to the surrounding areas makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious individuals.
- Recent Investments: The substantial investment in upgrades by the new owner suggests a commitment to improving the park, which could benefit current and future residents.
However, the negative review raises serious concerns that must be considered:
- Lack of Management Support: The allegation that management does not stand behind residents when their property is damaged is a significant potential drawback, raising questions about resident rights and protection within the community.
- Issues with Lawn Care Rights: The statement that "the lawn care people have more rights than the residents" is unclear but suggests potential conflicts or dissatisfaction regarding property maintenance rules and enforcement.
- Perceived Management Inaccessibility: The comment about management being "too important for us" indicates a potential lack of communication and responsiveness to resident needs, which could lead to frustration and unresolved issues.
The contrasting experiences suggest that the reality of living at Far Horizon Mobile Home Park might vary depending on individual circumstances or the specific area of the park. It underscores the importance of gathering more information and potentially speaking with multiple current residents.
No specific promotional information or special offers for Far Horizon Mobile Home Park are mentioned in the provided reviews. To inquire about current lot availability for mobile homes or potential long-term RV sites, pricing (including lot rent and any associated fees), and any potential promotions related to the recent upgrades, it is essential to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (727) 524-2724 or +1 727-524-2724.
When you contact the community, be sure to ask detailed questions about:

- The current lot rent and what services are included.
- Details about the recent upgrades and how they benefit residents.
- The park's policies regarding property maintenance, including lawn care, and resident rights in case of damage.
- The management's policies on addressing resident concerns and their accessibility.
- The rules and regulations of the park.
- The process for becoming a resident.
Given the significant discrepancy in the reviews, it would be particularly prudent to visit Far Horizon Mobile Home Park in person to assess the environment and potentially speak with current residents to gain a broader understanding of the living experience and management practices. Asking about the specific issues raised in the negative review could provide valuable insights.
Far Horizon Mobile Home Park in Clearwater, FL, offers a compelling location near the beach and reportedly affordable lot rent, with recent investments suggesting potential improvements. However, the starkly contrasting resident reviews present a complex picture. While one resident praises the management, maintenance, and overall value, another raises serious concerns about management support for residents and issues related to property rights and lawn care. Potential residents considering long-term stays, including those with RVs, should carefully weigh the reported advantages of location and affordability against the potential drawbacks highlighted in the negative feedback. Thorough due diligence, including direct contact with management and current residents, as well as a personal visit to the property, is strongly recommended to form a balanced and informed decision about whether Far Horizon Mobile Home Park is the right choice.

Far Horizon Mobile Home Park Reviews
I have lived here for 4 years. Great location. The new owner has invested over $200,000 in upgrades. Which I appreciate that very much this also raises the value of your home. The property is maintained first class. It is very affordable the lot rent is much less than the surrounding areas. In the four years that I have lived here I have never had any concerns or any issues. The property manager Mike is always available. If there’s any issues he takes care of it right away. You do not get this type of management and other parks. You’re 10 minutes from the beach. All of the monthly street parties in the surrounding towns is a plus. I would recommend anyone to purchase a home and live here in far horizons
Jun 07, 2019 · Ross OrrisYou do not want to live in this place. The lawn care people have more rights than the residents. Your property can be destroyed and the management will not stand behind residents. It would be nice if we could get a management but they're too important for us.
Aug 01, 2023 · LaShunda DavisFor the most part, it's very quiet. But, the rent is way too high for a mobile park without any amenities like other parks have. They allow criminals to reside there and do not supply security. The owner is unavailable to residents.
Aug 17, 2023 · Chris GarveyAlthough what Billy B's comment says about the manager was true, we the residents of the park have seen to it that changes were made , including new management and a homeowners association. We are snowbirds and love our community and the good people who live here. It is older, but very well maintained, clean and safe. It suits our needs perfectly.
Dec 02, 2015 · Dennis HickeyOnce upon a time..a nice place to live but never more..rent up every year..no useful amenities except lawn care, pool table & laundry room not as accessable asone would expect. Frequent management change..last one I received no written or verbal notice of. Greatly disapointed but no other alternative for disabled retiree. My honest opinion.
