Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local residents in Ferrelview, Missouri, and the surrounding areas who are exploring housing options, particularly those considering mobile home living, Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park, located at 201 6 St, Ferrelview, MO 64163, USA, presents itself as a potential residential community. While our platform category focuses on "RV parks near me," and Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park primarily offers long-term residential opportunities rather than short-term RV stays, it is still a relevant part of the local housing landscape that may be of interest to some users seeking information about nearby residential communities.
Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park can be contacted via phone at (816) 243-0180 or mobile phone at +1 816-243-0180. Based on the available online customer reviews, the experiences of residents appear to be mixed, with both positive and negative aspects highlighted. It is important for prospective residents to consider these varying perspectives when evaluating Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park as a potential housing option.
One detailed review from a self-identified four-year resident of Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park paints a picture of a small, close-knit community where residents generally get along well with each other. This suggests a potentially positive social environment within the park. However, this reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction with the management. Allegations include rudeness and excessive strictness, creating a feeling that the rules are overly stringent for a mobile home park setting. The reviewer also raises concerns about frequent rent increases, specifically mentioning a current rent of $519 per month and the anticipation of further increases without corresponding improvements in amenities or services.
A significant issue raised in this detailed review is the lack of adequate infrastructure, specifically the absence of streetlights, which the resident feels would improve safety and navigation within the park at night, especially given the presence of wildlife such as raccoons and opossums around trash cans. The reviewer claims that when this concern was brought to the attention of someone named Barbara (presumably a member of the management), it was dismissed as "not her problem."
Furthermore, this long-term resident provides a specific example of perceived unfair enforcement of park rules. They recount being asked to move their vehicle due to expired tags, while allegedly, an employee of the park who has worked there for several years has two vehicles with expired tags parked in their driveway. This inconsistency in rule enforcement raises questions about fairness and equal treatment within the community.
Another significant complaint in this review is the lack of snow removal services during the winter, despite increases in lot rent. The reviewer states that the snow removal has not just been slow due to being busy but has not occurred at all, implying a potential disregard for the safety and convenience of residents during winter weather conditions. This is a crucial consideration for local users in Missouri, where snow and ice are common during the winter months.
In contrast to this critical review, another customer offers a very positive assessment, describing an "amazingly beautiful home and park." This reviewer praises the staff as "so friendly and welcoming," with specific commendation for the manager Betsy, who they felt was exceptionally helpful throughout their experience. This starkly different perspective suggests that experiences within Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park may vary significantly, possibly depending on individual circumstances or interactions with different members of the management.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment, services, and features of Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park without further information. The positive review highlights potential beauty and friendly staff, while the negative review points to concerns about management rudeness, strict rules, increasing rent without improved amenities, lack of essential infrastructure like streetlights, inconsistent rule enforcement, and inadequate snow removal. The mention of a small community where residents generally get along is a potential positive aspect of the environment.
To obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the services and features, local users would need to contact the park directly. Typically, mobile home parks offer residents a leased plot of land for their mobile home, along with essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer. Additional services might include trash removal, common area maintenance, and potentially laundry facilities or community spaces. The conflicting reviews do not provide clear information on the availability or quality of these standard mobile home park services at Ferrelwoods.
The detailed negative review mentions increasing lot rent, which is a financial aspect that prospective residents should inquire about, along with the base rent or lot fee and what services are included in that cost. Understanding the frequency and amount of rent increases is crucial for long-term budgeting. The lack of streetlights and snow removal, as highlighted, are also important service-related factors to consider, especially in terms of safety and convenience.
The positive review mentions a "beautiful home and park," suggesting that at least some of the properties and the overall grounds may be well-maintained. However, the negative review's silence on this aspect makes it difficult to generalize the condition of the entire park. Local users should inquire about the general upkeep of the community and the condition of available homes or lots.
There is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Local users interested in Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park should contact the management directly to inquire about current availability of homes or lots, lease terms, pricing, and any special offers or incentives for new residents.
In conclusion, Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park in Ferrelview, MO, appears to be a small community with a mixed reputation based on the limited online reviews. While one reviewer praises the beauty of the park and the friendliness of the staff, particularly the manager Betsy, another long-term resident expresses significant concerns regarding management rudeness, strict rules, frequent rent increases without corresponding improvements, lack of essential amenities like streetlights and snow removal, and inconsistent rule enforcement. For local users seeking mobile home living in the Ferrelview area, it is crucial to carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and to contact Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park directly at (816) 243-0180 to obtain detailed information about the current environment, services, features, and costs. A thorough inquiry will help prospective residents determine if this community meets their individual needs and expectations for long-term housing. While it falls outside the typical "RV parks near me" category, it is a relevant housing option within the local Ferrelview community that warrants cautious and direct investigation.
Local residents considering Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park should prioritize direct communication with the management to ask detailed questions about the issues raised in the negative review, as well as to understand the positive aspects highlighted in the other review. A visit to the park, if possible, could also provide valuable firsthand insight into the community and its management.

Ferrelwoods Mobile Home Park Reviews
I got to say nobody's perfect and Iam sure not either ,the rudeness of the management strictness of the neighborhood which is good to a certain point. You would think we had a million-dollar homes. I see all these good reviews of place I'm lived here for 4 years I know almost everybody here small community get along with everybody here too except for management most of the time I see four reviews of people that do not live here what's up with that? Looking for raising rent again anytime soon 519 a month s. Streat lights would be great to help get you to your car at night, as you try to get past the raccoons and opossums trying to get in your trash can .Barbara says not her problem, I am sure . I would also let you add yesterday she made me move my vehicle out of here because it didn't have the correct tags on it expired actually but her own employee that's been working here for several years drives two vehicles which are parked in his driveway that have expired tags on them from the 22nd of February on one I just seen the other one was expired also but I didn't catch the entire date on it now how is that correct? Also lot rent went up again and nod this year so far zero snow removal not just slow cause there busy, there just not doing it now .must not be $ in the budget this year with all the lot rent increases.

Aug 09, 2024 · Jeanette GibsonThis is an amazing mobile home park. We looked all over Kansas City and were thrilled to live here. It’s quite, clean and the park manager is super nice and willing to help you with whatever you need. They have tons of new homes and they look amazing. It’s only 10 mins away from all the shopping but not even close to all the city madness. The pricing is cheap and well affordable. Lovely place anyone would be happy to live in.Update: New management is a lot better. Trying to make it a safe and friendly neighborhood. Takes community concerns seriously.
Jul 14, 2020 · Miranda Archibald100% would NOT recommend. They make promises they won't keep. They were supposed to repave our driveway and never did. We bought the trailer from them with the understanding that they would fix the floors that were caving in BEFORE we moved in, they only did a cosmetic fix. The back staircase wasn't even installed properly and started to fall by the time we left. They didn't get appropriate permits for the work on our trailer. They hired contractors who weren't even licensed in our area. And with all this they continued to raise the lot rent over and over. We've since moved on and they are still trying to screw with us.
Jul 26, 2021 · Heather ParrilliThey keep raising lot rent and they haven't added any amenities. I pay $18.50 more than when I had lot rent and a mortgage!! Plus, I haven't had a furnace since I moved in 8 years ago.
