Golden's Riverside RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Golden's Riverside RV Park, an option for those searching within the "RV parks near me" category in the Arkadelphia, Arkansas area. Situated at 116 Valley St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923, USA, this RV park offers a no-frills, convenient overnight or short-term stay with a focus on essential hookups and a peaceful environment. Based on the available customer reviews, Golden's Riverside RV Park provides a clean and quiet setting with easy access to the I-30 freeway, making it a practical choice for travelers passing through or those seeking a simple base in the region.
The environment of Golden's Riverside RV Park is characterized by its simplicity and natural surroundings. One reviewer noted a view of a "grassy pasture with thick tall woods at the far side" from their bedroom window, suggesting a pleasant and somewhat rural backdrop. The park is described as being "far enough off the road to make it convenient and quiet," indicating a peaceful atmosphere without significant traffic noise. This tranquility is further emphasized by another reviewer who mentioned "no freeway, or traffic noise." The absence of pavement throughout the park contributes to a more natural, albeit rustic, feel. While the environment offers scenic views and quietude, potential guests should be aware that the park is described as an "empty field to share with other travelers," implying a basic and undeveloped setting beyond the individual RV spots.
In terms of services, Golden's Riverside RV Park focuses on providing essential hookups for RVs. Both reviewers confirm the availability of "full hookups," which typically include water, electricity, and sewer connections. Notably, one reviewer specifically mentioned that "50A available," which is beneficial for larger RVs with higher power demands. The park operates on a "no contact rental" system, where guests can "pick my own spot and called manager to report # and pay," streamlining the arrival and payment process. This self-service approach emphasizes convenience and efficiency. However, it is crucial to note that the reviews explicitly state the absence of certain common RV park amenities: "Nothing else here. No bathrooms, or laundry." This lack of on-site restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities is a significant factor for potential guests to consider, especially those planning longer stays or those who rely on these amenities.
The features of Golden's Riverside RV Park are primarily centered around the individual RV sites and the park's accessibility. The spots are described as "clean level gravel spots" by one reviewer, indicating a basic but functional surface for parking. Another reviewer noted that the space they were in was "graveled with a mixture of rock, some crush and some large river rock," and found it "uneven and difficult to get the landing gear stable upon." This suggests that while the sites are gravel, the quality and consistency of the gravel might vary and could pose a challenge for leveling some RVs. A significant advantage for overnight stays, as mentioned by one reviewer with a 33' travel trailer and full-size truck, is that there was "no need to unhitch," implying spacious enough sites to accommodate larger rigs without requiring disconnection. The park's easy "on and off freeway access" is a major convenience for travelers on I-30. Additionally, its proximity to a "Pilot Travel center on the same exit on I30 to top off" provides easy access to fuel and other travel necessities.
There is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, the implicit value proposition of Golden's Riverside RV Park seems to be its simplicity, affordability (implied by the "no-frills" nature), quiet environment, and convenient location for travelers on I-30. The "no contact rental" system could also be seen as a feature appealing to those who prefer a more independent and streamlined experience. The park's willingness to accommodate overnight stays without prior booking (as suggested by one reviewer's experience of picking a spot upon arrival) might also be considered a convenience, although it's always wise to confirm availability, especially during peak travel times.
The contrasting descriptions of the gravel spots – "clean level gravel spots" versus "uneven and difficult to get the landing gear stable upon" – highlight the importance of individual site conditions. Potential guests might want to inquire about the specific type and condition of the gravel on the site they are assigned. The lack of basic amenities like bathrooms and laundry is a significant trade-off for the quiet environment and convenient freeway access. This makes Golden's Riverside RV Park most suitable for self-contained RVs that do not rely on these external facilities.
For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Golden's Riverside RV Park in Arkadelphia, AR, offers a basic but functional option, particularly for those needing a convenient overnight stop near I-30. The quiet environment and scenic views (of a pasture and woods) might appeal to those seeking a peaceful rest. However, the absence of bathrooms and laundry facilities means it is best suited for RVers who have these amenities within their own unit. The "no contact rental" system provides a hassle-free check-in and payment process. Potential guests should be prepared for a rustic setting with gravel sites that may vary in levelness and stability.
To learn more about Golden's Riverside RV Park, including current rates and site availability, local users can contact them directly at (870) 345-8899 or +1 870-345-8899. It would be advisable to inquire about the condition of the RV sites and confirm the absence of bathrooms and laundry facilities to ensure it meets their needs. If you are looking for a simple, quiet, and conveniently located overnight stop with full hookups and you are self-sufficient in terms of restroom and laundry needs, Golden's Riverside RV Park might be a suitable option.

- Easy on and off access to I-30.

Golden's Riverside RV Park Reviews
Clean level gravel spots.we only stayed over night. Picked my own spot and called manager to report # and pay. 33' travel trailer and full size truck no need to unhitch. Far enough off the road to make it convenient and quiet. Also Pilot Travel center on the same exit on I30 to top off
Nov 30, 2020 · Murf077No contact rental. No freeway, or traffic noise. The view outside my bedroom window was of a grassy pasture with thick tall woods at the far side. Easy on and off freeway access. Full hookups with 50A available. Nothing else here. No bathrooms, or laundry. No pavement anywhere. The spot we were in seemed typical for this park. The space was graveled with a mixture of rock, some crush and some large river rock. The rock was uneven and difficult to get the landing gear stable upon. We slept well there and felt safe. I think if you are particular, and care how things look, you should pass. If you need an empty field to share with other travelers, with full hookups and you can overlook imperfection, I think you should stop here
Apr 27, 2021 · florence carstensenThere's nothing wrong with the site and it's competitively priced. There are no amenities but all sites are pull through, easily accessible and have electric water and sewer. There are no other amenities. But the site is adjacent to a convenient site to put in to the Caddo River. There is a river outfitter with an office on site that also handles the RV park.I was never able to reach anyone by phone, but I pulled in, found the manager on site and he showed me to the site.It was flat, gravel throughout but clean and quiet, great spot for overnight stay.
Jun 05, 2024 · kim NELSON-BARCLAYThe owners were great. The folks who stay there full time or long term, not so much. We were screamed at by a guy as we tried to decide what spot to take. All gravel, and no good spots for your pups to relieve themselves if you’re traveling with dogs. Overall, a decent place to stay overnight, but for the price I don’t think we’ll return.
Jan 06, 2021 · Erin DuvallExcellent stay as always. Very friendly people and feels like a community more than just a RV park. Walking distance to the Caddo River which provides an excellent area to walk and explore. River floating service during season. Close enough to anything you may need and within a short walking distance to several restaurants and fast food joints. In the process of expanding and adding more sites.Gravel and level sites are throughout with a community awning and BBQ grill.
