Caddo Valley RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Arkadelphia, Arkansas region, Caddo Valley RV Park, located at 221 Frost Rd, Arkadelphia, AR 71923, USA, presents an evolving option. Formerly known as Arkadelphia RV Park, this location is now under new ownership and is currently undergoing substantial renovations aimed at enhancing the facilities and overall guest experience. According to customer reviews, significant investment is being made in the park, with construction expected to be completed around April 2021.
Even during the ongoing construction phase, Caddo Valley RV Park has received positive feedback regarding its suitability for overnight stays. One reviewer noted that despite the construction, the park was a "nice place to stay for the night." This suggests that while improvements are underway, the park remains operational and can accommodate travelers looking for a temporary stopover. This is a crucial piece of information for those who may be passing through the area and need immediate accommodation.
A notable aspect of the service at Caddo Valley RV Park, even during construction, is the attentiveness of the park management. One reviewer shared a positive experience of arriving late, several hours after closing time, and still receiving assistance from the park manager, who personally escorted them to their site. This level of customer service, going above and beyond regular hours, indicates a commitment to guest satisfaction and a willingness to accommodate travelers' needs, even when facing logistical challenges due to late arrivals or ongoing work.
Looking towards the completion of the renovations, Caddo Valley RV Park is set to offer significant upgrades and new amenities. Plans include the development of over 30 large pull-through RV sites situated in the upper area of the park, near the office and the swimming pool. Pull-through sites are highly desirable for RV travelers as they allow for easier parking and departure without the need to back up, especially beneficial for larger rigs. The planned number of sites suggests a substantial capacity to accommodate a significant number of guests once the construction is finalized.
Furthermore, the community area and laundry facilities, both conveniently located near the office, are reported to be already completed and described as looking "very nice." These are essential amenities for any RV park, particularly for those planning longer stays. A well-maintained laundry facility provides convenience for guests to take care of their laundry needs on-site, while a pleasant community area can serve as a space for relaxation, socializing, or accessing park information. The positive description of these completed areas indicates a focus on providing comfortable and functional spaces for guests.
However, it is important to note a negative experience reported by one potential customer regarding phone communication. The reviewer described the woman answering the phone as "rude and very short," unwilling to allow the caller to complete their question. This negative interaction with customer service over the phone resulted in a lower rating for the park. This feedback highlights an area where Caddo Valley RV Park may need to improve to ensure a positive first impression for all potential guests. While the park itself and its amenities may be commendable, a negative initial contact can deter potential visitors.
Considering the information available, Caddo Valley RV Park is in a transitional phase, moving from its former identity as Arkadelphia RV Park under new ownership with significant investments being made. The future looks promising with the planned addition of numerous large pull-through sites and already completed, well-maintained community and laundry facilities, along with a pool. The park's willingness to accommodate late arrivals with personal escort service is a notable positive.
However, potential guests should be aware of the reported issue with phone communication when seeking information. It may be beneficial to try alternative methods of contact, if available, or to be prepared for a potentially less than ideal initial phone interaction. Despite this, the ongoing improvements and the positive experiences of those who have stayed at the park, even during construction, suggest a location with significant potential once the renovations are fully completed around April 2021.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Arkadelphia, Caddo Valley RV Park offers the prospect of a newly upgraded facility with desirable amenities such as large pull-through sites and a swimming pool. The already completed community area and laundry facilities indicate a commitment to guest comfort. While the reported issue with phone etiquette is a point to consider, the overall direction of the park under new ownership seems to be towards providing a better experience for RV travelers. It would be advisable to check for updates on the construction progress and perhaps try contacting the park through different channels to get the information needed for planning a stay.
In conclusion, Caddo Valley RV Park in Arkadelphia, AR, is undergoing an exciting transformation with new ownership and substantial renovations underway. While currently offering a nice place to stay even during construction, the future promises over 30 large pull-through sites, a pool, and already completed, attractive community and laundry areas. Potential guests should be mindful of a reported issue with phone communication but consider the long-term potential and the positive aspects of the park, especially the management's helpfulness and the ongoing improvements. Keep an eye on this location as it nears its construction completion date around April 2021 for a potentially enhanced RV park experience in the Arkadelphia area.

Caddo Valley RV Park Reviews
This RV park is the former Arkadelphia RV Park with a new owner who is investing heavily in the park. Construction is expected to be complete in April 2021.Even during construction, the park is a nice place to stay for the night. We arrived late and the park manager came over to escort us to our site even though it was several hours after closing time.Once construction is complete, there will be 30+ large pull through sites in the upper area near the office and pool. The community area and laundry, both near the office, are already done and look very nice.
Apr 04, 2021 · CharityI called to get information and the woman answering the phone was rude and very short with me. She wouldn't even let me complete my question. That explains the rating of 3.5
May 05, 2025 · Jean Toland-ScottWe just needed a place for the night. Melisa had one spot left and saved it for us with no card info, etc. Very helpful. The park was clean, clean! Office was spic and span. Spot was gravel, not concrete, but it was fresh, clean gravel, with no dirt to get on your feet. Looks like the spot we stayed in (# 22) had all new hookups. Not one thing to complain about. Residents there seemed happy, and were courteous. No loud noises. We’ll try to make it back.
May 03, 2023 · Marvin BurrowsNice place, nice owners. Most campers have been there quite a while; vacancies are few and far between. The owners are really nice and live on site.
Oct 02, 2024 · Janice DodsonThis ignorant lady running the place tried to talk badly about my kids to my boss. She said my kids pooped all over the walls in the restroom! Excuse me lady but my wife doesn’t lose sight of my kids and plus we have a very nice camper with our own bathroom we’d never use a nasty public restroom when we have our own. My boys are respectful and courteous my wife would tear them a new one if they ever did such a thing! (They never would though!) She never even called me to say anything just decided to talk badly about us not knowing that she was speaking to my boss. Jokes on her my boss knew that wasn’t my kids and agreed to what a crazy rude lady she was. We weren’t even there 90% of the time my wife took the kids to hot springs and the state park we pretty much just slept there. Funniest part is she had no proof of my kids doing it she just decided to pick us to trash talk. What a joke. Overpriced gravel pit with crazy management.
