Granada Villa Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those exploring "RV parks near me" in the Canyon Country area of California, Granada Villa Mobile Home Park, located at 18540 Soledad Canyon Rd #101, Canyon Country, CA 91351, USA, presents a mobile home community with certain characteristics that might appeal to individuals seeking a longer-term RV stay. While primarily a mobile home park, understanding its environment, services, and features can help determine its potential suitability for RV living. Based on the available customer reviews, Granada Villa offers a community with a strong Hispanic presence, proactive management focused on upkeep, and some unique local aspects, alongside certain challenges that prospective residents should be aware of.
One positive aspect highlighted in the reviews is the quality of the staff. One resident specifically commended Ulices Gomez for his "amazing job" in completing a repair, praising his professionalism. The reviewer further stated that "Granda villas has great staff!" This suggests that residents can expect competent and helpful service from the park's employees, which is an important consideration for a comfortable living experience, whether in a mobile home or an RV.
The environment of Granada Villa Mobile Home Park is described as "okay" by one long-term resident of eight years. This resident also notes the presence of a "Large Hispanic community," indicating a diverse cultural environment within the park. For individuals who appreciate living in a multicultural setting, this could be a significant positive attribute. The reviewer also mentions "Nice mobile homes," suggesting that the properties within the park are generally well-maintained in terms of appearance.
A notable feature of Granada Villa is the active involvement of the management in maintaining the park's environment. The reviewer states that "the management drives around pretty much on a daily basis and cleans up trash and takes care of the environment and monitor the upkeep of the mobile homes appearances." This proactive approach to cleanliness and maintenance suggests that the park strives to provide a well-kept and orderly living space for its residents. This could be particularly appealing to RV owners who appreciate a tidy and well-cared-for community.
Security is always a concern in any residential setting. The long-term resident mentioned having "heard of a couple of theft related incidents" over their eight years of living in Granada Villa. While this suggests that theft is not a pervasive issue, it is something that prospective residents should be aware of and perhaps inquire about the park's security measures. Asking about neighborhood watch programs or any security patrols in place could provide a better understanding of the park's approach to safety.
The physical layout of Granada Villa has both positive and negative aspects, according to the reviewer. The streets are described as "Narrow," which could potentially pose challenges for maneuvering larger RVs. However, the presence of "HUGE speed bumps" is noted as "much needed as there are children that play." This indicates that while children do reside in the park, the narrow streets necessitate significant speed control measures for their safety. This contradicts the absence of designated play areas but suggests an awareness of the presence of children within the community.
Parking appears to be a notable challenge at Granada Villa. The reviewer states, "Parking is a problem as if your a visitor you need to get a pass in order to park in the visitors section or you will get towed away promptly." This strict parking policy for visitors could be inconvenient for those who frequently have guests. Prospective RV residents should inquire about parking arrangements for their own vehicles and any guest parking availability and regulations.
One unique and potentially appealing feature of Granada Villa is the presence of "some neighbors that sell fresh tacos and meals for a price, yummy!" This informal local food offering adds a unique flavor to the community and could be a convenient and enjoyable perk for residents. It highlights a certain level of community interaction and local enterprise within the park.
However, the reviewer also raises a significant concern regarding pets, stating, "One problem some neighbors let their dogs loose on their leashes to roam about the front of their house and some of them they will attack your dog while walking." This issue of unleashed and potentially aggressive dogs poses a safety risk for residents walking their own pets and is a serious concern that needs to be addressed. The reviewer also mentions difficulty in contacting management about this issue due to an outdated phone number on the website, underscoring the importance of verifying current contact information and communication channels with the park management.
For individuals considering Granada Villa Mobile Home Park as a potential "RV park near me," it is crucial to contact them directly at the provided phone number, (661) 252-3515 or +1 661-252-3515, to inquire about their policies on accommodating RVs. Ask about the availability of RV sites, the types of hookups offered (water, electricity, sewer), the size and accessibility of the sites, and the associated rental rates for both short-term and long-term stays. It is also essential to inquire about the park's rules and regulations, particularly those concerning pets, parking, and any restrictions on RV sizes or types.
Furthermore, prospective RV residents should inquire about the amenities available to them, such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, and any recreational areas within the park. Understanding the community environment and any social activities or events that take place could also be helpful in determining if Granada Villa is a good fit.
Given the mixed feedback in the reviews, a thorough conversation with the park management and potentially a visit to the property to assess the RV sites and overall environment would be highly beneficial. Pay close attention to the narrow streets and speed bumps if you have a large RV. Observe the parking situation and inquire about guest parking policies in detail. If you have pets, directly address the concerns raised about unleashed and potentially aggressive dogs and understand the park's policies on pet ownership and management.
In conclusion, Granada Villa Mobile Home Park in Canyon Country offers a community with a strong Hispanic presence, proactive management focused on upkeep, and a unique local food scene. However, prospective residents, especially those with RVs, should be aware of potential challenges such as narrow streets, strict visitor parking, and reported issues with unleashed dogs. Contacting the park directly to inquire about their RV accommodations, rules, and amenities is crucial in determining if Granada Villa meets your specific needs and preferences for an "RV park near me."

Feb 07, 2025 · leslie mcswainIt's okay. Large Hispanic community. Nice mobile homes. The management drives around pretty much on a daily basis and cleans up trash and takes care of the environment and monitor the upkeep of the mobile homes appearances. I have lived here for 8 years total and have heard of a couple of theft related incidents. Narrow streets. HUGE speed bumps, but much needed as there are children that play. Parking is a problem as if your a visitor you need to get a pass in order to park in the visitors section or you will get towed away promptly. Theres some neighbors that sell fresh tacos and meals for a price, yummy! One problem some neighbors let their dogs loose on their leashes to roam about the front of their house and some of them they will attack your dog while walking. I have tried to contact management about it but their number on the website needs changing and also it happens quit a bit so I have to say something often to my neighbors who do this.
