Hidden Valley RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Porter, Oklahoma area, Hidden Valley RV Park, located at 6388 US-69, Porter, OK 74454, USA, is one option that appears in search results. However, it is crucial for local users to be aware of recent customer feedback regarding this park, as it presents a concerning picture of the current conditions and management. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based solely on the provided reviews, highlighting both the negative aspects and the limited positive mentions, to ensure potential visitors have a comprehensive understanding before making a decision.
Situated along US-69 near Porter, Oklahoma, Hidden Valley RV Park's location might offer convenient access for travelers passing through the area. Porter is a small town in eastern Oklahoma, located near the larger city of Wagoner and not far from the Muskogee Turnpike. Its location could potentially provide access to local amenities and attractions in the surrounding region. However, the immediate environment within the RV park itself, according to recent reviews, seems to be a significant cause for concern.
The environment of Hidden Valley RV Park, as described by one recent reviewer with over 20 years of RV experience, is reported to be "filthy & poorly maintained." This user expressed that they had "never seen a park this filthy" before. Specific issues highlighted include a significant amount of trash littered throughout the park. Additionally, the reviewer noted that it appears to be primarily a "Full-timers park" with many units in a state of disrepair, suggesting a high number of long-term residents and potentially fewer transient visitors. While the reviewer acknowledged that some residents might be "doing the best they can," the overall impression of the park's environment is overwhelmingly negative due to the reported lack of cleanliness and maintenance.
Another concerning aspect of the environment, as mentioned in the first review, is the presence of "loose and unrestrained dogs & cats running everywhere" with no indication of owners cleaning up after them. This has resulted in a situation where it is "hard to walk anywhere without stepping in dog crap!" Furthermore, the reviewer reported "a number of sites with makeshift outdoor dog kennels with very noisy dogs," which could significantly impact the peace and quiet of other guests. These descriptions paint a picture of an environment that may not be sanitary or conducive to a pleasant stay for many RV travelers.
In terms of services and features, the negative reviews unfortunately overshadow any potential positives. The first reviewer's strong condemnation of the park and its ownership ("Don't Give-a-Shit" ownership) raises serious questions about the level of management and the attention paid to basic upkeep and guest comfort. The discrepancy noted between the "pictures on their listing" (implied to be outdated and misleading) and the current conditions further suggests a potential lack of transparency. While the park likely offers basic RV hookups (water, electricity, sewer), the reported state of the environment and the issues with pets raise concerns about the quality and reliability of these services and the overall guest experience.
The second, very brief review is somewhat cryptic, mentioning "a couple good things" but predominantly "hooded or method out ty just being honest." This vague statement is difficult to interpret definitively but adds to the overall negative sentiment surrounding the park. The use of such terms suggests potential issues that go beyond mere cleanliness and maintenance, possibly alluding to concerns about the park's atmosphere or the behavior of some individuals within it. Without further context, the exact meaning is unclear, but it certainly does not contribute positively to the park's reputation.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback in the provided reviews, it is challenging to identify any clear promotional points for Hidden Valley RV Park at this time. The significant concerns raised about filth, poor maintenance, unrestrained and unmanaged pets, and potentially other unspecified issues would likely deter most RV travelers. Any promotional material that does not accurately reflect the current conditions, as suggested by the first reviewer's comment about misleading pictures, would be unethical and ultimately damaging to the park's reputation. It is imperative for potential visitors to be aware of these recent experiences before considering a stay at Hidden Valley RV Park.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," local users searching for a place to stay in the Porter, OK area should exercise extreme caution based on the provided reviews of Hidden Valley RV Park. The strong negative sentiments expressed regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and pet management are serious red flags. While location can be a factor in choosing an RV park, the reported conditions at Hidden Valley RV Park appear to outweigh any potential locational advantages. Travelers are strongly advised to seek alternative RV parks in the vicinity that have more positive and recent feedback regarding their environment, services, and overall management.
Before even considering a stay at Hidden Valley RV Park, potential visitors should attempt to contact the park management using the provided phone number, +1 918-681-4457, to directly inquire about the current conditions and address the serious concerns raised in the recent reviews. It would be prudent to ask for recent photos of the park and to understand what measures are being taken to address the reported issues with cleanliness, pet control, and overall maintenance. If possible, seeking feedback from other recent visitors through online platforms or forums might provide a more balanced perspective, although the two provided reviews are decidedly negative.
In conclusion, the recent customer feedback for Hidden Valley RV Park in Porter, OK, paints a concerning picture of a park suffering from significant issues related to cleanliness, maintenance, and pet management. The strong negative language used by an experienced RV traveler should not be ignored by local users searching for "RV parks near me." While the park's location might offer some convenience, the reported environment and apparent lack of adequate management raise serious doubts about the quality of stay. Potential visitors are strongly urged to proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and consider alternative RV parks in the Porter or surrounding areas that have more positive and verifiable recent reviews. The provided information serves as a stark warning about the potential conditions at Hidden Valley RV Park as of the time these reviews were posted.

Hidden Valley RV Park Reviews
DON'T DO IT, we've been RV'ing for over 20 yrs, and have never seen a park this filthy & poorly maintained! We were unaware it is a Full-timers park, full of units that will never be able to be moved. Probably a lot of folks doing the best they can. But what was unacceptable was the amount of trash littered throughout the park. There are loose and unrestrained dogs & cats running everywhere that no one is cleaning up after. There are a number of sites with makeshift outdoor dog kennels with very noisy dogs . It's hard to walk anywhere without stepping in dog crap! We've never seen such a display of "Don't Give-a-Shit" ownership! Pictures on their listing are from years ago. These are current

Feb 07, 2025 · Merri DavilaOwner's are nice people, we stayed for 3 months and that's all we could handle. Bathrooms are nasty, the maintenance woman starts all sorts of drama and gossips constantly about other guests. Would not recommend and will never go back until that worker is gone.
