Hilltop RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere in the Muskogee, Oklahoma area? Look no further than Hilltop RV Park, located at 3110 W Harris Rd. This hidden gem, praised by its residents as "idyllic," provides a serene escape with the convenience of city amenities just a short drive away. Whether you are an overnight traveler passing through or seeking a longer-term stay, Hilltop RV Park offers a clean, quiet, and well-maintained environment that feels like a true home away from home.
One of the standout features of Hilltop RV Park, according to long-term residents, is its peaceful ambiance. Situated amidst rolling pastures with the picturesque sight of cows and horses grazing, the park offers a quintessential Green Country, Oklahoma vista. Despite its rural feel, Hilltop RV Park boasts excellent proximity to essential conveniences. Within a mere 1 to 9-minute drive, you'll find a Pilot Flying J travel center, a Walmart Supercenter, downtown Muskogee, and the renowned Castle of Muskogee. Its location just a few acres from a major highway (US-69) ensures easy access while maintaining a remarkable level of quietude, akin to the tranquility of the countryside.
The owners, Clay and Susan, are frequently commended for their friendly and welcoming demeanor. They are known for their helpfulness in assisting new arrivals with finding a suitable spot and getting set up. While they do have park rules in place to ensure a pleasant environment for all residents, their approach is described as accommodating and supportive. Whether you're a short-term visitor or planning an extended stay, Clay and Susan are dedicated to making your experience at Hilltop RV Park a positive one.
For those seeking essential amenities, Hilltop RV Park provides a laundry facility and showers in the main building. The laundry room, equipped with two pairs of coin-operated washers and dryers, is noted for being efficient and well-maintained, although it closes at 9 pm. While one reviewer had not yet used the showers at the time of their initial review, they expressed confidence that the shower facilities would be of a similar high standard as the laundry room, which they described as being "a standard above most parks." Another update from the same reviewer later confirmed the showers and restrooms to be a "godsend," especially during colder weather.
The layout of Hilltop RV Park is another aspect that residents appreciate. The RV spots are described as being well-spaced with plenty of nice grass, offering a sense of openness and avoiding the cramped feeling often found in more densely packed "diagonal parks." This generous spacing provides a more comfortable and private outdoor area for each RV site.
For travelers with more than one vehicle in addition to their RV, it is advisable to inform Clay or Susan upon arrival to address parking arrangements. While not all spots can accommodate a large truck and a car, the owners will work with you to find a suitable solution.
An often-overlooked but highly valued feature of Hilltop RV Park is its reliable mail delivery system. Residents who receive a significant number of packages report that mail service is a breeze, with only very few instances of packages needing to be held by the owners.
Perhaps one of the most significant advantages of choosing Hilltop RV Park is the strong sense of community among its residents. Neighbors look out for one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment. Furthermore, and notably, the park is described as having virtually no crime, fostering a sense of security and peace of mind that is highly valued by its occupants. One long-term resident even remarked that the park seems to attract a "better crowd" compared to other RV parks.
Interestingly, Hilltop RV Park also caters to equestrian enthusiasts. The property features beautiful meadows for the owner's horses and cows, as well as an indoor arena and two outdoor arenas. This unique amenity makes Hilltop RV Park a true "jewel in Muskogee for equestrians and cowboys," offering the opportunity to bring your own horse, rope, and ride.
While specific promotional information was not provided in the reviews, the consistently positive feedback regarding the park's cleanliness, peaceful environment, friendly management, and sense of community serves as a strong endorsement for anyone seeking "RV parks near me" in the Muskogee area. The added benefit of equestrian facilities further broadens its appeal.
To experience the welcoming atmosphere and excellent amenities of Hilltop RV Park, you can contact Clay or Susan directly at (918) 869-6538 or +1 918-869-6538. They will be happy to provide you with more information, check availability, and answer any questions you may have. Hilltop RV Park Reviews
We've lived at Hilltop for *UPDATE* TEN months now, and I can say, having lived in RV parks before, that this one is idyllic. If you're an overnighter just passing through, or plan to stay indefinitely, Clay will find you a spot and help hook you up. Clay and Susan are very friendly and welcoming, just follow the rules! This is a clean, well kept, quiet and peaceful park surrounded by rolling pasture with cows and horses completing the quintessentially Green Country, Oklahoma vista. There's a laundry and showers available, in the main building but the Laundry closes at 9pm. There are two pair of quarters only washers and dryers that run beautifully and quick. I haven't seen the showers yet but if they're built as nicely as the laundry, they'll be a standard above most parks. If you have more than one vehicle in addition to your rig, be sure to let Clay or Susan know so they can address parking. Not all spots are big enough to have a car and truck, but they're spaced well apart with plenty of nice grass. I don't feel hemmed in like in diagonal parks where you're 8 feet from your neighbor, I'd give this place 6 stars if I could, sand I'm proud to call it home!Mail delivery is a breeze here, I get a lot of packages and only a very few have left the package with the owners. We're so close to everything: Walmart-5min, PilotFlying J-1 min, downtown Muskogee-9 min, Castle of Muskogee-3 min... Etc. Only a few acres from a major highway (us 69) but it's as quiet as the farm I grew up on, one of the many reasons I love it here.1-4-2023 *Update* *Buy a heated water hose (Camco from Amazon 25ft appx 100$) but well worth it come 1° degree weather for three days) but Clay and Susan were very helpful and the showers and restroom a godsend!THE NEIGHBORS ARE GREAT, WE'RE LIKE A LITTLE COMMUNITY EVERYBODY LOOKS IN ON EVERYBODY. THE BEST PART THOUGH IF THERE IS NO CRIME, AT ALL, AND THE INNER EQUALIZER IN ME HATE TO SAY THIS, THIS PLACE SEEMSTO ATTRACT A BETTER CROWD AS OPPOSED TO MOST PARKS OF SEEM TO HAVE A RESIDENT METH LAB LOL

Apr 06, 2024 · Michelle CiancanelliWe had a great stay! The woman was so helpful for us being first time campers and helped us figure everything out that we had questions about. They price was extremely reasonable (35$) They have private showers available which was very nice and the campsite itself was very easily accessible. Overall we had a very nice stay and I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.
