Honeysuckle Farm RV Park Introduce
For local RV travelers and those passing through the Dublin, Georgia area searching for "RV parks near me," Honeysuckle Farm RV Park, located at 2866 GA-257, Dublin, GA 31021, USA (phone: (478) 208-0629 or mobile: +1 478-208-0629), offers a conveniently located and pleasant option for your stay. Situated just one minute off Interstate 75, this RV park provides easy access for those on the road while maintaining a surprisingly quiet atmosphere. Based on recent customer reviews, Honeysuckle Farm RV Park offers a rustic charm, friendly service, and essential amenities, making it a worthwhile consideration for overnight stops and potentially longer visits.
The environment of Honeysuckle Farm RV Park is described as "a little rustic" but with a "lovely little pond with trees and wild flowers," suggesting a natural and peaceful setting. Despite its proximity to I-75, the park is noted for being "quiet," which is a significant advantage for travelers seeking a restful night's sleep. The presence of a pond stocked with fish adds to the appeal, offering a relaxing view and potential fishing opportunities for guests. The park appears to have a mix of transient and possibly some long-term residents, but this "did not detract from the view or quaintness of the park," according to one reviewer.
In terms of services and features, Honeysuckle Farm RV Park offers essential amenities for a comfortable stay. The park provides "full hookups" with "50 amp" electrical service, catering to the needs of larger RVs. Most sites are reported to be "pull through," which is particularly convenient for larger rigs and those preferring easy setup and departure. While one reviewer was unsure about the presence of a bathhouse, another confirmed that the "bathhouse was very clean if you need it," indicating that this amenity is available for guests. The park also mentions a "loop" road, which was noted as "not complete," with the owner advising that driving on the grass is manageable in dry conditions but potentially problematic after rain. It's important to follow the specific directions provided by the owner to navigate the park, especially regarding accessing the pull-through sites in the back, which require a specific wide U-turn maneuver to ensure hookups are on the correct side.
The staff at Honeysuckle Farm RV Park are consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. One reviewer described them as "super friendly," and another recounted how the owner answered their call late on a Saturday night, provided clear directions, and ensured they had a site. This level of personal service can greatly enhance the overall experience, especially when arriving without a prior reservation. The owner's communication regarding the incomplete road and the location of the park (emphasizing the turn immediately after the white house and the post where the sign used to be) demonstrates a proactive approach to guiding guests.
While Honeysuckle Farm RV Park may not be a "destination" with extensive resort-style amenities, its quiet atmosphere, natural beauty with the pond, and essential hookups make it a practical and pleasant stopover. Its location just off I-75 makes it particularly convenient for those traveling along this major interstate, such as those heading to or from Jacksonville, Florida, as mentioned by one reviewer who indicated they would stay there again for overnight stops. The park's pet-friendly nature is also implied by a reviewer mentioning running their dog in Dublin, suggesting that pets are welcome at the park.
A notable point is that Honeysuckle Farm RV Park does not appear to have an online booking system or a website, as one reviewer mentioned normally preferring online booking but having to call to make a reservation. Therefore, local users and travelers will need to contact the park directly by phone to check availability and make reservations. The owner's advice to "definitely call ahead and triple check reservations" is prudent, especially during peak travel times.
In summary, Honeysuckle Farm RV Park offers a quiet and rustic camping experience just off I-75 in Dublin, Georgia. Its key features include friendly and helpful staff, pull-through sites with full 50 amp hookups, a clean bathhouse, and a scenic pond. While the park may have a slightly unfinished feel with the incomplete loop road and the missing sign (due to hurricane damage), its convenience, peaceful environment, and essential amenities make it a good option for overnight stays and potentially longer visits for those traveling through the area or local RV enthusiasts seeking a nearby retreat.
Local users searching for "RV parks near me" that prioritize a quiet and convenient location with friendly service should consider Honeysuckle Farm RV Park. The positive reviews regarding the staff and the peaceful environment are strong indicators of a pleasant stay. The full hookups, including 50 amp service, cater to a wide range of RV sizes, and the pull-through sites are a significant convenience. The presence of a clean bathhouse addresses a key need for many travelers. While the rustic nature and the need to call for reservations are aspects to note, the overall experience seems to be positive for those looking for a comfortable and accessible stopover.
As a platform connecting local users with RV parks, Honeysuckle Farm RV Park presents a solid option for those traveling along I-75 in Georgia. Its blend of convenience, quiet ambiance, and essential amenities, coupled with positive feedback about the staff, makes it a worthwhile consideration. The rustic charm and the natural beauty of the pond add to its appeal, offering a more relaxed and less commercialized experience compared to some larger RV resorts. Remember to call ahead for reservations and follow the owner's directions for navigating the park and accessing the sites.

Honeysuckle Farm RV Park Reviews
We called when we were 20 min away, at 7pm on a Sat night. Owner answered and gave directions. He wasn't sure if 1 of the 2 pull through sites was available, but said "if it's empty, it's yours". No sign, and it's a little rustic (not sure if there's a bath house since we don't use them?), but it was perfect for us. Quiet despite being 1 min off I-75, and a lovely little pond with trees and wild flowers. We're a 45 ft class A towing an F150, and we fit just fine in the pull through. Full hookups with 50amp. Note that the road for the loop isn't complete, but as the owner said, you can drive on the grass and it's hard. I probably wouldn't attempt after a rain storm. To get to the pull throughs in the back, go in and drive til you see them. DO NOT pull straight in or hookups will be on your passenger side. You have to veer left (off the road into the grass), and do a wide lazy U turn, then pull in to the pull-through site once your RV is facing the entrance. We did this in our rig while towing the truck, there's plenty of room if you're decent at maneuvering and it's light out. Side note, since there isn't a sign, follow the directions we were given, and turn right immediately after the white house. You'll see the intersection/ stoplight in front of you, and as soon as you get into the right turn lane for the intersection, that's where you take a hard right into the RV park. There is a post where the sign used to hang, that's how you know it's the correct place to turn. He said the sign was ruined in the hurricane and he hasn't gotten around to hanging the new one lol. If we need a place to stay overnight on our way to Jacksonville FL we'll stay here again... But definitely call ahead and triple check reservations!
May 06, 2018 · Katie SteinWe were running our dog in Dublin. I normally only like to book where I can online but they don’t have a website. So I called and booked. Super friendly staff. Complete hook ups at site with power (we have 50 amp)and sewer. Most sites are pull through. There was a few campers that live there. But it did not detract from the view or quaintness of the park. The pond is stocked with fish. And the ducks are adorable. The bathhouse was very clean if you need it.If we are back in the area we most definitely will stay again.
Nov 13, 2022 · Tasty Yet HealthyCharlie was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. Very nice and roomy sites. Te park has a nice pond and the park is well maintained and quiet. I did not rate this park at 5 stars due to their website listing that there was a laundry and they don't have one. We had to drive into town to get our laundry done.Very reasonable rates and we would definitely stay there again.
Jul 26, 2024 · Cathy MasonOur grandson had a baseball tournament in Dublin, we stayed here for two nights. Charlie was real nice and helpful. The campground has a pretty lake and clean restrooms. Would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Dublin.
