Southern Pines RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for outstanding "RV parks near me" in the Dublin, Georgia area? Look no further than Southern Pines RV Park, a recently under new family management as of April 2024, located at 422 Roundtree Dr, Dublin, GA 31021, USA. This campground is quickly gaining recognition as a "hidden gem," offering a combination of excellent amenities, spacious sites, and a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. Based on recent customer feedback, Southern Pines RV Park is emerging as a top choice for both short-term and potentially longer stays in the region.
One of the most significant praises for Southern Pines RV Park revolves around its new management. Visitors have described the owners as "extremely helpful and easy to deal with," particularly during the reservation process. This personal touch and ease of communication can make a significant difference in the overall experience, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your stay. Furthermore, interactions with the owner's father-in-law, who maintains the grounds, have been described as delightful, with one guest noting they "could have spent hours talking to him" and highlighting the "super nice folks" running the park. This emphasis on friendly and approachable management suggests a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests.
The physical attributes of the RV sites at Southern Pines also receive high marks. Guests have reported that the sites offer "full hook up," meaning they are equipped with water, electricity, and sewer connections, providing maximum convenience for RV travelers. Additionally, the sites are "paved," which contributes to a clean and level setup, and are described as "very big" and "very easy to access." The ample size of the sites, including "super big" pull-thru spots and what appear to be equally spacious back-in sites, ensures a comfortable and hassle-free experience, regardless of the size or type of your RV. The easy access is particularly beneficial for those who appreciate straightforward maneuvering and setup.
While the park is relatively new under current management, and one guest mentioned, "I imagine once the grass comes in it will be a really nice looking place," the foundational elements of well-maintained and spacious paved sites are already in place, suggesting a commitment to developing an aesthetically pleasing environment. The anticipation of further landscaping improvements indicates that the park is likely to become even more visually appealing over time.
A noteworthy feature of Southern Pines RV Park that is particularly appealing to families is the presence of "3 ponds" where "the kids loved fishing." This amenity offers a fun and engaging activity for children and adults alike, providing a relaxing way to spend time outdoors without having to leave the campground. The availability of fishing ponds adds a unique recreational aspect that goes beyond typical RV park offerings.
The location of Southern Pines RV Park is also a significant advantage for certain travelers. It is conveniently situated just "1 mile away" from baseball tournaments in Dublin, making it an ideal choice for families and teams participating in these events. Additionally, it is becoming a "go-to spot" for those traveling to VA appointments in the area, highlighting its accessibility to important local facilities. This strategic location makes Southern Pines a practical and convenient option for visitors with specific needs in Dublin.
The management's responsiveness and commitment to customer service are further underscored by a follow-up review. When a guest experienced a "minor issue with the site," the management "were on it" and "fixed the problem asap and got everything squared away." This proactive approach to addressing concerns and ensuring guest satisfaction is a testament to their dedication and stands in contrast to the often less personalized service found at larger, "namebrand" campgrounds. The reviewer also noted the "super clean location," further emphasizing the park's commitment to maintaining a pleasant environment.
However, one area where Southern Pines RV Park was noted to have a limitation is its restroom facilities. The initial review mentioned that there was "only one private toilet/shower for each men and women," which led to a 45-minute wait for a shower. This is an important piece of feedback for potential guests to consider, particularly during peak times. While the cleanliness of the location was praised in a subsequent review, the limited number of restrooms might be a factor for some travelers, especially those who prefer more readily available facilities.
In conclusion, Southern Pines RV Park offers a compelling package for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Dublin, Georgia. Its strengths include new, helpful family management, full hookup and spacious paved sites with easy access, the recreational amenity of three fishing ponds, and a convenient location near baseball tournaments and VA appointments. While the limited number of restrooms is a point to be aware of, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the management's attentiveness, the quality of the sites, and the overall experience suggests that Southern Pines RV Park is a fantastic option for your next stay in the area. Be sure to contact them at (478) 538-2321 or +1 478-538-2321 to inquire about availability and experience the welcoming hospitality of this emerging gem.

Southern Pines RV Park Reviews
I fear sharing great feedback, as I don't want to have to fight to get space in this hidden gem in the future. Southern Pines is a great new family-run (as of Apr 2024) campground. Owners were extremely helpful and easy to deal with when making reservation....and i could have spent hours talking to their father-in-law as he was maintaining the grounds....super nice folks.Sites are full hook up, paved, very big, and very easy to access.I imagine once the grass comes in it will be a really nice looking place. The only issue was restrooms....there was only one private toilet/shower for each men and women....someone went into it and was waiting 45 min to take a shower. We look forward to making this our go-to spot when going to VA appointments or travel baseball tournaments in Dublin.UPDATE: After our first great stay, we decided to stay again a few days ago. We had a minor issue with the site, but THEY WERE ON IT. Management fixed the problem asap and got everything squared away . You can't find this type of attention and service at the big "namebrand" campgrounds. Super clean location. We can't wait to come back as growth continues. THANKS AGAIN!!!
Jun 17, 2024 · G.B. ReedBooked this place last Minute cause my son had a Baseball Tournament and best thing is it’s only 1 mile away. Loved how easy the access was and pulling camper in was super easy. Pull thru spots are super big and back in spots looked great too. The kids loved fishing in the 3 ponds. The owner was really nice and made sure we were all set up good. Next tournament we will be back for sure.
Apr 15, 2024 · James PreskittMy husband was working in n the area for the past 8 months. We found Southern Pines Campground and put our 5th wheel there. It was the perfect place to stay. Quiet and peaceful but close to everything we needed. The owner was super helpful and nice. Our stay included the hurricane and although some trees came down Chad had them removed in no time. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if we are in the area. Thanks Chad for making our stay so nice.
Jan 08, 2025 · Fern AcostaMy husband and I visited Dublin several weeks ago and came across the sign to this RV Park. Driving through the property before they opened was enough to know it would be a beautiful site. We made reservations for May but couldn’t wait so we booked a couple of nights at the end of April and I’m so glad we did. What a serene, peaceful place. We’ll be back on our original scheduled date!!!
Apr 30, 2024 · D SneedWe’ve been staying at Southern Pines for almost 7 months. It’s clean and quiet. The staff are great to deal with.I look forward to seeing how the expansion goes.
