Hotel RV Beaver Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the New Brighton, Pennsylvania area, Hotel RV Beaver, located at 67 Shadyside Court, New Brighton, PA 15066, USA, is an option to consider. They can be reached at (412) 334-8436 or +1 412-334-8436 for inquiries.
Hotel RV Beaver appears to primarily cater to those seeking short-term or overnight stays, aligning with the "RV parks near me" category for travelers passing through the New Brighton area. While it offers hookups, the available customer reviews suggest that it may have limitations in terms of amenities, site maintenance, and overall service for longer stays.
One customer review indicates that "This place is only good for an overnight stay with no hook ups." This statement is somewhat contradictory as the same review later mentions issues with hookups, implying they are present but potentially problematic. The reviewer also notes that "Communication is very difficult" and "The sites need maintenance." A significant concern raised is the lack of on-site personnel to assist with issues, stating, "You will never meet anyone to help you resolve any issues that may arise." Practical challenges with the sites are also highlighted, such as site markers being obscured ("on the backside of the hook ups so you cannot see them when you arrive") and difficulties with maneuvering ("a big meter board blocking that spot from the road so backing in was difficult" for site 3).
Furthermore, this reviewer experienced issues with the electrical hookup ("The extension cord outlet never worked and they refused to fix it") and the sewer connection ("The sewer hook up requires 30 feet minimum (3 hoses) and it's up a hill, so draining is impossible without lifting the hose up"). A serious post-stay billing issue was also reported: "After leaving, they continued to bill us for weeks and tack on late fees, even though our account was current when we left." This suggests potential problems with the billing system and customer service after departure.
Another review echoes the suitability for short overnight stays, stating, "If you need to park overnight, this will work fine. If you want more than that, go elsewhere." This reinforces the idea that Hotel RV Beaver might be adequate for a brief stopover but not ideal for a longer, more comfortable RV experience. This reviewer also mentions the lack of an office ("There is no office here, so we just found an open space and parked"), indicating a self-service approach upon arrival. Regarding site infrastructure, they advise, "Also the drain connection is at the far back end of the space, so bring 20 feet of hose with you." Finally, they explicitly state the lack of amenities: "Absolutely no amenities to speak of other than hookups."
Based on these reviews, the environment at Hotel RV Beaver seems to be basic, primarily focused on providing a parking space with hookups. The lack of on-site management and the reported issues with site maintenance suggest a no-frills experience. The difficulty in communication, as mentioned by one reviewer, could lead to frustration if any problems arise during the stay.
The services at Hotel RV Beaver appear to be limited to the provision of basic hookups (electrical, water, and sewer), although their functionality and placement seem to be inconsistent and potentially problematic based on the reviews. The absence of an office suggests a lack of traditional check-in and customer service interactions. Other common RV park services, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas, are explicitly stated as non-existent in one review.
The features of Hotel RV Beaver seem to be its availability as an overnight parking option with hookups in the New Brighton area. Its potential affordability for a brief stay might be a factor for some travelers. However, the challenges with site conditions (e.g., difficult parking, obscured markers), problematic hookups (non-working electric, inconvenient sewer), and the lack of amenities significantly limit its appeal for anything beyond a very basic overnight stop.
There is no promotional information to be gleaned from the provided reviews. Instead, the feedback serves as a cautionary note regarding the potential drawbacks of choosing Hotel RV Beaver for anything other than a very short stay where basic hookups are the only requirement. The negative experiences with billing after departure also highlight a potential risk for those who do choose to stay there.
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" for more than just an overnight stop, the reviews strongly suggest considering alternative options in the New Brighton area. The reported issues with site maintenance, hookup functionality and placement, lack of amenities, difficult communication, and potential billing problems indicate a less than satisfactory experience for those desiring a comfortable and hassle-free RV stay.
If an overnight stay with basic hookups is the sole requirement and other options are limited, potential guests might consider Hotel RV Beaver with caution, being prepared for self-service, potential site issues, and the need for ample sewer hose. Documenting the condition of the site upon arrival and ensuring accurate billing upon departure would also be advisable based on the feedback received by previous guests.
In conclusion, Hotel RV Beaver in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, appears to be a very basic RV parking option primarily suitable for short overnight stays where minimal amenities and hookups are needed. The customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding site maintenance, hookup functionality, communication difficulties, a complete lack of amenities, and potential billing issues after departure. Travelers seeking a more comfortable or longer RV experience with reliable services and amenities are strongly advised to explore other "RV parks near me" in the vicinity.

Nov 24, 2024 · Kayla LuskIf you need to park overnight, this will work fine. If you want more than that, go elsewhere. Our email confirmation said a space would be assigned upon check-in. There is no office here, so we just found an open space and parked. Also the drain connection is at the far back end of the space, so bring 20 feet of hose with you. Absolutely no amenities to speak of other than hookups.
Sep 12, 2021 · John HildenbrandIt could be so much more. Does not look like ANY of the pics you see on line. Especially if those pics show a clean well groomed area. Its kind of an eye sore if ya want the truth. Was real muddy mess, and owners did have rock brought in and spread over some areas but really wasnt done correctly. Like I said, could be nice, but the whole place is in desperate need of TLC.Oh and people need to clean up after their pets. THATS JUST NASTY!
