Indian Trail RV Introduce
For local individuals and families searching for "RV parks near me" in the Kingsland, Texas vicinity, Indian Trail RV, located at 1880 Indian Trail, presents a multifaceted profile based on recent customer reviews available online. It's crucial for prospective residents and visitors to consider the diverse experiences reported to gain a comprehensive understanding of what this RV park might offer.
One reviewer initially noted that "the area was nice" but pointed out a lack of clarity regarding site numbers and the approximate size of small yards. This suggests that while the general location may be appealing, prospective tenants might need to seek clearer information about specific site details before committing. The same reviewer also recounted a deeply concerning interaction with the on-site manager, describing their behavior as "very misleading and extremely rude" during a tour. The specific incident mentioned, involving the manager allegedly throwing a large rock at a residential cat and exploiting a resident's electricity costs, raises significant red flags regarding the management's conduct and treatment of both residents and their pets. This negative experience led the reviewer to seek interaction with the owner directly to make a decision about residing there, indicating a lack of trust in the on-site manager.
An update from the same reviewer paints an even more troubling picture of Indian Trail RV. This follow-up emphatically states, "I absolutely, and I mean absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND renting a space from this place." The reasons cited for this strong condemnation are numerous and serious, including allegations of lying, manipulation, judging of people, price gouging for electricity, disrespect for tenants' privacy, and very unclean restrooms and laundry facilities. Further concerning allegations include aggressive behavior by management, such as beating on the side of trailers instead of knocking and abruptly shutting off wastewater valves as a punitive measure for being a couple of days late on rent, even in situations involving illness like COVID-19. The reviewer claims the manager, Cheryl, showed a lack of empathy and understanding regarding late rent, despite potential legal obligations to work with tenants. The owner is also implicated in the negative experiences due to employing a manager described as "cold and rude" and accused of exploiting elderly residents on limited incomes with higher electric bills. The reviewer reiterates the alleged mistreatment of pets, including chasing them, throwing rocks, and approaching them with hammers, strongly advising against choosing Indian Trail RV Park.
In stark contrast to these deeply negative accounts, another reviewer shared a very positive experience, stating, "I never thought I would love rv life but coming to Indian trail was the best idea for me and my family; It’s been amazing ever since the start." This reviewer praised the laid-back and peaceful atmosphere of the park, its prettiness, and the benefit of free laundry. They also appreciated the ability to have a fence and personalize their outdoor space. Notably, this positive review commends the "wonderful manager" who is described as approachable and friendly. The positive reviewer also mentioned having great neighbors who are understanding, even when their baby is crying. The only suggestion for improvement was the addition of a splash pad for kids and dogs, indicating a family-friendly perspective.
The significant disparity between these reviews paints a complex and potentially inconsistent picture of Indian Trail RV. While one long-term resident expresses a highly positive experience, emphasizing the community, management, and amenities like free laundry, another former or current resident details a multitude of serious issues related to the on-site manager's behavior, park management practices, cleanliness, and respect for tenants and their pets. The neutral feedback from residents who were "unsure" further contributes to this ambiguity.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Indian Trail RV presents a situation where caution and further investigation are strongly advised. The positive review highlights the potential for a pleasant, community-oriented living experience with certain perks. However, the detailed and severe allegations in the negative reviews regarding the manager's behavior, financial practices (electricity gouging), disregard for tenant rights and privacy, and mistreatment of pets cannot be ignored. These are serious concerns that prospective residents must consider carefully.
Given the conflicting reports, local individuals interested in Indian Trail RV should attempt to gather more information from various sources. Speaking directly with the owner, as one reviewer intended to do, seems like a prudent step to understand the management policies and address the serious allegations raised. Visiting the park in person and, if possible, speaking with current residents (beyond those initially contacted) could provide additional perspectives on the current environment and management. It would also be wise to inquire specifically about the policies regarding electricity billing, rent payment procedures, pet policies, and the maintenance of facilities like restrooms and laundry.
The positive reviewer mentioned the ability to have a fence and personalize their space, which could be an attractive feature for those seeking a more permanent or customized RV living situation. The free laundry is also a significant amenity that can contribute to cost savings and convenience for residents. The sense of a laid-back and peaceful atmosphere, along with good neighbors, suggests a potentially positive community vibe for some residents.
However, the stark contrast with the negative experiences underscores the importance of due diligence. Local users should weigh the potential benefits against the serious concerns raised about management conduct and park conditions. If considering a stay at Indian Trail RV, it would be wise to have all agreements and policies clearly documented in writing to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes. It might also be beneficial to inquire about any recent changes in management or policies that could impact the current living environment.
In conclusion, Indian Trail RV in Kingsland, Texas, presents a mixed bag for those searching for "RV parks near me." While some residents report a positive, community-oriented experience with certain appealing features, significant concerns have been raised regarding the on-site management's behavior, park practices, and the condition of facilities. Local RV users should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek direct communication with the owner and current residents to form an informed decision about whether Indian Trail RV meets their needs and expectations for an RV park in the Kingsland area.

Indian Trail RV Reviews
The area was nice. Could have been more clear on site numbers and approx size for small yard. The manager on site was very misleading and extremely rude about the facilities and current residents. (Threw a large rock at a residential cat while talking to the resident exploiting their cost of electric) All while touring the place.Spoke with some residents to get an idea of place, some were positive, and a few in-between, and mostly unsure. Will talk to the owner (not the manager again) to make decision on residing there.8-23-24An update on my review from earlier this month. I absolutely, and I mean absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND renting a space from this place. They lie, manipulate, judge people, price gouge for electricity, disrespect tenants privacy, very unclean restrooms and laundry facilities. They beat on the side of your trailer instead of politely knocking on door. They will shut off your valve on your waste water at your trailer and lie about having septic problems when you are a couple days late on rent due to missing work from having COVID. The manager Cheryl will tell you that's not her problem and life goes on. When in fact there is a law about them with working with you to catch up. The owner is just as much to fault as he employs a person as cold and rude to tenants who are elderly and on limited income by gouging them with higher electric bills. They don't respect others pets, chase them, throw rocks, and even come at them with hammers. So I would definitely discourage anyone from selecting this so called RV park.
Aug 23, 2024 · Rebecca RobinetteI never thought I would love rv life but coming to Indian trail was the best idea for me and my family; It’s been amazing ever since the start. I love that I can have a fence or put what I want outside. It’s a very laid back place very peaceful and pretty also a plus when laundry is free. I love that we have great neighbors who don’t complain when our baby is crying and a wonderful manager , she never cares if I come knocking having a question for her or just to have a conversation. Only thing I’d recommend is have a splash pad for the kids and dogs, who am I kidding I love the splash pad also.
