Jetstream RV Resort at Waller Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the vicinity of Houston, Texas, Jetstream RV Resort at Waller, located at 41409 Cyrus Rd, Waller, TX 77484, presents itself as a very nice and clean option with a wide array of amenities. You can reach them at (936) 509-0000 or +1 936-509-0000 to book your stay or inquire for more details. Based on the feedback from real customers, Jetstream RV Resort offers a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for both short-term and long-term visitors.
One of the standout features of Jetstream RV Resort, frequently praised in reviews, is the extensive list of amenities available to guests. These include a free arcade, perfect for entertainment regardless of age; a refreshing pool for relaxation and recreation; a communal fire pit, ideal for evening gatherings; and corn hole, a classic outdoor game for friendly competition. For practical needs, the resort also offers storage units, a well-equipped gym, a convenient laundry room, and six private showers, ensuring comfort and ease for all guests.
The resort caters to different types of RVs and preferences by featuring both covered and pull-thru sites. Covered sites provide protection from the elements, while pull-thru sites offer ease of access for larger rigs. Additionally, for those who prefer a different type of accommodation, Jetstream RV Resort also offers cabins, providing a variety of lodging options within the same well-maintained property.
The staff at Jetstream RV Resort consistently receives positive remarks. One reviewer who has stayed multiple times while visiting family notes that "The office and grounds staff are always friendly and ready to assist." This highlights a commitment to customer service and a welcoming atmosphere, which can significantly enhance the overall experience of staying at an RV park. Knowing that assistance is readily available and provided with a friendly demeanor adds to the peace of mind of travelers.
The infrastructure of the RV park also receives accolades. A guest describes it as a "Nice RV park a bit out of Houston" and specifically mentions "Level concrete pads and roads," which are crucial for easy setup and navigation within the park. The inclusion of "gated access" provides an added layer of security and peace of mind for guests and their belongings. Furthermore, the availability of a "bath house" in addition to the private showers, a "catch and release lake" for fishing enthusiasts, a dedicated "dog wash station" for pet owners, and "good power and ethernet" (although another review notes no Wi-Fi, so ethernet is likely wired internet access at the sites) all contribute to a comfortable and convenient stay.
The location of Jetstream RV Resort offers a blend of peacefulness and accessibility. While described as "a bit out of Houston," it is conveniently located right across the I-10 from a Buc-ee's, a popular travel center known for its vast array of goods and clean facilities. For those looking to explore the greater Houston area, the resort is mentioned to be about 25 minutes from northwest Houston, providing a reasonable drive to city amenities and attractions. The reviewer also notes that "Not much to do in the area," suggesting that the primary appeal of the location might be its proximity to Houston and the amenities within the resort itself, rather than immediate local attractions.
While the majority of feedback is positive, some areas for potential consideration have been raised. One reviewer downgraded their initial rating due to "loud motorcycles and trucks" and issues with the "single small dog park with dog poop." This suggests that noise from nearby traffic might be a concern for some guests, and the pet facilities could benefit from improvement, particularly regarding cleanliness and size. Additionally, the same reviewer noted that "The one trash bin was in the far northwest corner," which could be inconvenient depending on the location of one's site within the park.
Another point to be aware of is the early morning train that passes nearby. One guest mentioned this but also noted that they got used to it after the first night and it did not deter them from returning. However, light sleepers might want to consider this potential noise factor when choosing their site or booking their stay.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall sentiment towards Jetstream RV Resort at Waller is overwhelmingly positive. The well-maintained facilities, the extensive list of amenities, the friendly and helpful staff, and the convenient location near a major travel center make it an attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Houston area. The level concrete pads and roads, gated access, and the availability of full hookups (implied by long-term occupants and good power) further enhance its appeal.
For those looking for a resort-style experience with a strong emphasis on amenities and comfort, Jetstream RV Resort at Waller encourages potential guests to "Give Jetstream Resort a visit – you won’t be disappointed!" This confident statement, backed by the positive reviews highlighting cleanliness, friendly staff, and a range of facilities, positions Jetstream RV Resort as a top contender for those exploring "RV parks near me" in the Waller and greater Houston region.
In conclusion, Jetstream RV Resort at Waller offers a comprehensive and appealing experience for RV travelers. Its wide range of amenities, including a free arcade, pool, gym, and more, coupled with practical features like level concrete pads, gated access, and laundry facilities, make it a comfortable and convenient choice. The friendly staff and the location near I-10 and a Buc-ee's add to its appeal. While potential noise from traffic and a nearby train, as well as the condition of the dog park and the placement of trash bins, are points to consider, the overall positive feedback suggests that Jetstream RV Resort is a highly recommended option for those seeking quality "RV parks near me" in the Waller area.

Apr 27, 2025 · Arlene AragonNice RV park a bit out of Houston. Level concrete pads and roads, gated access, pool, bath house, pool, peasant staff, lots of long term occupants, catch and release lake, dog wash station, good power and ethernet. Buccees right across the I-10. Not much to do in the area, but 25 minutes into northwest Houston.I down graded from a 5 star because of two things. One is loud motorcycles and trucks. The other was the single small dog park with dog poop. The one trash bin was in the far northwest corner.
Apr 28, 2025 · Ken WilsonWe had a monthly rate of about $600, plus we paid electric. Park is 95% long-term stay, probably workers from nearby. As such, it is almost more like a neighborhood. There are kids and pets out playing. Many people had two vehicles, and tried to park both in their spot, which resulted in a lot of vehicles over the fire lane and added to the cluttered look. Park was very nice and had been built with lots of good amenities. Large clubhouse area with kitchen, TV, pool table and general place to hang out, which people did. One of the best fitness rooms I've seen. Game room. Laundry looked good. Bathrooms were unisex combo bath/shower, very roomy. Pool area looked good, but we were there in the winter. We were backed up onto the lake, which was nice with a little walking path around it. The dog park is small, about the size of an RV site, and the gate literally opened into our site. Everyone going to the dog park had to walk into our site. This was fairly convenient for us, and most dog owners were very polite about it and friendly, so it worked out, but what a bizarre design. We used the internet hookup and connected our own router, and it was one of the fastest internets we've encountered at an RV park. Despite being very crowded, the park was clean, well kept and the people were friendly. There is no sleeping late in the area we were in. Many people leaving for work would start their industrial diesel trucks at 5:45 AM and leave them running to warm up. Very, very loud. Also, there is a train track nearby that goes through Waller, which runs very regularly (including 5:30 AM), and has to blow its horn at every crossing in Waller (quite a few). I would not call this place a vacation destination, but would still recommend it if you need to be in the area for any reason. We camped at Jetstream RV Resort at Waller in a Fifth Wheel.
Feb 07, 2025 · Lynda PolkSCAM ALERT and Cannot Handle Freezing TempsSCAM ALERT: if you have a pet, this location will attempt to charge you a $500 non-refundable “pet deposit”. But they’ll wait to do it until after you’re checked in. Highly suspicious. Got a text from the manager couple days after checking in requiring this absurd fee. When we showed her the Jet Stream policy ($50 deposit), she backed down. We talked to many other guests who had the same experience (except they paid it!). The manager has charged this $500 fee for guests in RVs, guests in Tiny Homes — doesn’t matter. And it always comes in a text message a few days after check-in. I called all other Jetstream parks, none have this policy. I reached out to corporate (Jacob Snyder) to see if they were aware of the apparent scam — crickets.Weather and Freezing Temp Issues:**Update: now on Day 4 of Jet Stream electively shutting off water. And it’s 37 degrees outside.**The Jet Stream RV Resort in Waller is not capable of handling cold weather. The local staff has always been friendly and supportive, but the reality is that this facility just isn't set up to handle cold weather. Don't stay here in the winter. They recently shut off water to the entire park over a 3 day period "to prevent frozen pipes." Since we're staying in one of the tiny homes, this means that our family has no access to water or septic services. And in the end, they ended up with frozen lines anyway. We've now been without water, septic, or sewage for the entirety of the time the facility was without water and we're still without water/septic services because the lines froze. Local management passed me to their corporate manager, Jacob Snyder, who was not supportive and just emphasized that we signed a document negating the landlord-tenant relationship. We are also getting text messages from the other guests who are confused about what's happening. The facility just isn't able to handle the cold. Great place to stay in summer, but don't stay here in winter.
Feb 09, 2025 · Cameron MarkertBeautifully kept property. Staff is always very helpful and courtesy. I have stayed at this property through a hurricane, tornado, and two below freezing cold fronts. Staff kept everyone informed in a timely manner and took steps to protect our campers to avoid frozen lines and damages and ensure necessary steps were taken to minimize times of shutting off water. Greatly appreciated being a resident of this property.
