Keowee Falls RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park your RV? If lakeside living and convenient access to boating on beautiful Lake Keowee are high on your list, then Keowee Falls RV Park, located at 150 Jefferson Rd, West Union, SC 29696, USA, might be an ideal destination. This RV park has garnered positive feedback from long-term residents, particularly highlighting its peaceful environment, excellent lake access, and the helpfulness of the staff under previous management. While there has been a change in ownership, the park's prime location and amenities related to Lake Keowee remain significant draws for RV travelers and boating enthusiasts.
The environment surrounding Keowee Falls RV Park is undoubtedly one of its key attractions. Situated in West Union, South Carolina, the park benefits from its close proximity to Lake Keowee, a renowned reservoir known for its clear waters and scenic shoreline. The reviews emphasize the "awesome" boating opportunities on Lake Keowee, suggesting that the area is a haven for water sports enthusiasts. The convenience of having boat slips and a private boat ramp directly at the RV park is a significant advantage for those who enjoy spending time on the water. Imagine the ease of launching your boat and exploring the lake whenever you desire, right from your home base at Keowee Falls RV Park. The location being just "10 mins to town" also provides a balance of natural tranquility and accessibility to essential amenities and services in West Union.
Based on a detailed review from a former long-term resident, Keowee Falls RV Park, under previous management, offered a very peaceful living environment. The availability of boat slips and a private boat ramp were particularly appreciated by boaters, underscoring a key feature of this RV park. The reviewer also mentioned that any requests they had were promptly taken care of, indicating a responsive management style at the time. Furthermore, the positive interactions with the former park manager, Diane, and a maintenance person named Murphy, highlight a friendly and helpful staff who contributed to a pleasant living experience. The presence of these dedicated individuals who were attentive to residents' needs likely fostered a positive atmosphere within the park.
The change in ownership, as mentioned in one of the reviews, introduces a note of caution. While the inherent advantages of the park's location and lake access remain, one reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with changes implemented under the new management, including restrictions on monthly residents' access to the beach area and the departure of previous staff members. This feedback suggests that the atmosphere and some policies of the park may have evolved. However, another reviewer who appears to have experienced the park under the new ownership praises the current owner, Kristen, as "one of the hardest working woman I've ever met," and thanks her for making their stay very pleasant. This contrasting feedback indicates that experiences may vary, and the current owner is also dedicated to providing a positive environment for guests.
Given the limited information about current services and features under the new ownership, it's prudent to consider what RV parks with lake access typically offer. You can likely expect RV sites with essential hookups for water, electricity, and sewer. The presence of a private boat ramp and boat slips is a significant feature that caters specifically to those interested in boating on Lake Keowee. Other potential amenities might include restroom and shower facilities, laundry services, Wi-Fi access, picnic tables or fire pits at individual sites, and possibly a communal area for gatherings. Keowee Falls RV Park Reviews
Owners are very nice and friendly. Stayed for a few months. Then moved on. Stopped back after owner passed and family member took over. Don't and won't stay ever again. She wasn't very nice and changed everything about the park. No longer allowed down by beach for monthly. Got rid of everyone that worked there. Ronnie you are missed.
Mar 10, 2025 · Erin J RossHaving living there for a year and half was a very peaceful place to live, I'm a boater so I'd have to say boating on lake Keowee was awesome , the convenience with having boat slips and private boat ramp was nice to have , the location was great 10 mins to town . Anything I'd ask for was taken care of , you can't ask for much more than that. For the park manager Diane she was a sweetheart to me and my dog sarge as we would pass her place sarge always looked up to her deck to see if she was outside he knew if she was there it was treat time he loved that. And for the maintenance Murphy would do pretty much anything I asked him to do nice guy.And now for the lovely lady that owns Keowee Falls RV park Kristen is one of the hardest working woman I've ever met my hats off. Your parents did well it shows and I'm sure they're proud. They made my stay very pleasant for me and my dog thanks .Rick and Sarge

May 04, 2025 · Bob KreiderI stayed at Keowee Falls for over a year and I can’t recommend it enough. The rent is set very fair ($600 for 30amp) and it includes your water, sewer, and electric. There’s coin laundry on site, a dumpster, and a bunch of fun amenities (no bathrooms/showers). We have walking trails all around this massive property which are perfect if you have a dog or for just you. There’s lake access, whether you want to take your boat out, just swim or kayak, or hang out on the beach. There’s a covered area by the lake with communal ping pong tables, grill, seating, etc. If you have little ones, there’s a playground for them as well. They do a fantastic job at keeping the park clean and well maintained. The grass is always cut, bushes trimmed, cute floral landscaping throughout, clear roads and walking paths, never any litter. My biggest concern when moving here was my safety. I was 19 years old when I moved in and I was living alone for the first time. I tried to stay in another RV Park in SC and immediately did not feel safe or welcomed. As soon as I parked here, I knew I was going to stay. I can’t really explain why, but I have always felt safe and loved here. The neighbors and the park have your back. I am only leaving because I am moving across the country to the west coast. I am super excited but sad to leave this little community. If you’re looking for a great RV park in this area, you’ve found it.
