Excellent hosts and a beautiful, quiet setting.We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Lake Lucy. This was the first season the campground, and the 11 full hookup sites were well equipped with a gravel pad, fire ring, and a large wooden picnic table. A large play-set for children and a lake to fish in are ready to use. There is a lot of room between sites, and tall trees provide partial shade.The setting is close to a quiet rural road where Amish buggies frequently go by. A farm with donkeys and a horse is at the back of the sites.There is one private full bathroom with a shower, and one private toilet.Lake Lucy is only 15 minutes drive to the hiking trails of Cook Forrest State Park. There are several rail trails for biking nearby, and the Drake Oil Well State Historic Park in Titusville. Drake’s well was the first commercially successful oil well in the world!Our hosts were amazing and open to communication.Firewood is available to buy at the campground.Nearby trails are the Route 66, Oil City, Samuel Justus, and Allegheny National Forest Trails.
