Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort Introduce
Are you searching for a modern and well-appointed "RV park near me" in the Wylie, Texas area? Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort, located at 2065 E FM 544, Wylie, TX 75098, USA, offers a contemporary camping experience with a range of amenities and ongoing development. You can reach them at (972) 330-9396 or their mobile number +1 972-330-9396 to inquire about availability and experience this evolving RV destination.
Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort presents itself as an inviting and clean park with a modern design aesthetic. According to customer reviews, the staff is wonderful, and the online booking, check-in, and check-out processes are notably easy and efficient. This streamlined approach to logistics can significantly enhance the overall experience for travelers, making their arrival and departure smooth and hassle-free.
It's important to note that Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort is currently undergoing expansion. According to a recent visitor, the park is still under construction, with plans to add more RV spots and a swimming pool in the coming year. This ongoing development suggests that the resort is committed to growth and enhancing its offerings, which could be a significant draw for future visitors looking for even more amenities.
For pet owners, a notable feature of Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort is its good dog park. This provides a dedicated and safe space for furry companions to exercise and socialize, a valuable amenity for many RV travelers. The presence of a well-maintained dog park indicates that the resort caters to the needs of those traveling with pets.
The resort also offers communal spaces for guests to enjoy. Two community fire pits are located in a "pretty courtyard," providing a gathering spot for socializing and enjoying the outdoors, especially during cooler evenings. These fire pits can foster a sense of community among visitors and offer a pleasant ambiance.
For those who like to stay active while traveling, Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort includes a fitness room. While one reviewer appreciated this amenity, they noted that it lacked a door separating it from the common room, which could impact privacy during workouts. This feedback suggests that while the facility is available, there might be room for improvement in its design to enhance user comfort.
One reviewer raised a point about the pricing, suggesting that it might be "pricey for what you get ($50-$80/night)" and for the location. They noted that there is "nothing in walking distance, not even the lake," and that the area feels like "you're in the middle of farm country." This perspective highlights a potential trade-off between the modern amenities and the more rural setting, which might not appeal to all travelers, especially those seeking immediate access to attractions or the namesake lake.
Despite the comment about the location and price, the RV sites themselves are described as "nice" with "easy pull through and back in access." This is a significant advantage for RVers of all sizes and experience levels, simplifying the often challenging task of parking. One reviewer specifically mentioned that their 39-foot RV with a dually truck fit comfortably in a covered site. Covered sites are a valuable feature, providing protection from the elements, particularly the Texas sun and potential storms.
Another positive aspect highlighted is the peaceful atmosphere of the resort, with evenings described as "quiet and peaceful even on weekends." This suggests that Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort prioritizes a tranquil environment, which is often a key factor for those seeking a relaxing getaway.
In summary, Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort offers a modern and clean camping experience with easy booking and friendly staff. Key features include a good dog park, communal fire pits in a pleasant courtyard, and a fitness room (though with a potential privacy concern). The RV sites are well-designed with easy access, and covered sites are available. The evenings are reported to be quiet and peaceful. However, potential visitors should be aware that the location is somewhat rural with nothing in immediate walking distance, and the nightly rates might be considered high by some.
The ongoing construction and the planned addition of a pool next year indicate that Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort is investing in its future and aims to provide even more amenities for its guests. This could be a significant draw for those planning longer-term stays or repeat visits.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Wylie area who prioritize modern facilities, ease of use, and a quiet environment, Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort is worth considering. The presence of a dog park and the availability of covered sites are additional benefits. However, it's important to factor in the more rural location and the potentially higher price point compared to other options. If proximity to Lake Ray Hubbard or walkability to attractions is a priority, this might not be the ideal choice. Nevertheless, for those seeking a well-maintained and evolving RV resort with a focus on modern design and comfort, Lake Ray Hubbard RV Resort presents a compelling option.

Apr 22, 2022 · Diane BNice RV sites with easy pull through and back in access. Our 39' and dually fit comfortably in a covered site. Evenings were quiet and peaceful even on weekends. Pray for you neighbors and bring the joy of the Lord
Apr 12, 2025 · Michael SchwabWe have stayed in RV parks all across the US and this has great amenities. The laundry room is beautiful!! Nice pool too. Check out sites with awnings. They are very nice and help keep the rig cooler!
Sep 07, 2024 · Nancy BartlettGreat stay very clean, well kept RV resort. Common and shared areas are super clean. As other mentioned lots of amenities, washer/dryers, kitchen, gym, horseshoes, bacci ball court, fire pits, picnic tables, dog run, The only dig i have is to keep on the residents about picking up after their dogs, while were there we did receive the Text keep at it. A little too active on the weekend evening for my taste but suppose this comes with the nearly in town location. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we need a place in NE Dallas.
Jan 24, 2021 · Carl GWe have been living at the RV Resort for a month now. Honestly we love it!The staff is very nice, respectful, & friendly. They answer all questions asked. We love being away from town, but every close drive to everything in each direction. The club house, showers, & laundry mat all on site are a huge help. It’s nice to stay at home in the RV. Yet it’s wonderful to be able to walk up to any of those easy & cook or clean or do laundry all right there. The husband & I have already enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee looking out at the beautiful grounds area they have fixed up behind the club house.Definitely everything we thought it would be when looking around. An we haven’t even use the nice pool they have yet. We can not wait for the cold. I’m excited to chop wood & have some fires in the fire pits. This is a great place to stay or live. I’m definitely one happy camper.
