Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are exploring options for "RV parks near me" or considering affordable housing solutions in Dewey, Oklahoma, Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park, located at 515 S Osage Ave, presents a unique opportunity. This park offers a blend of traditional mobile home living and RV accommodations, characterized by its natural beauty, quiet environment, and a distinctive program for those seeking homeownership through a "fixer-upper" arrangement.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park, highlighted by a resident, is the availability of "fixer upper" mobile homes offered rent-free, with residents only responsible for paying the lot rent. This innovative approach provides a pathway to homeownership for individuals willing to invest time and effort into renovating a pre-existing mobile home. The resident enthusiastically shared their positive experience, noting that they secured a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home for a total monthly cost of less than $300 (including lot rent), deeming the initial investment in repairs "so worth it." This unique feature makes Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park an exceptionally affordable option for those seeking a more permanent living situation than traditional RV parks typically offer, while still potentially accommodating RVs in designated areas.
Beyond the affordability and homeownership opportunities, Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park is praised for its tranquil atmosphere. One resident described it as "very quiet," with the only occasional noise stemming from a neighboring body shop, depending on the lot's location within the park. This peaceful environment is a significant draw for those seeking respite from the noise of city life or busier campgrounds. The emphasis on quiet living suggests a community that values a calm and relaxed ambiance.
The natural environment of Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park is another significant asset. The presence of "lots of mature trees" contributes to a shaded and aesthetically pleasing landscape, enhancing the quality of life for residents and RV visitors alike. Mature trees not only provide shade during warmer months but also add to the overall beauty and character of the park. Furthermore, the presence of ponds with wildlife, specifically "ducks & geese that wander the property," creates a charming and picturesque setting. One resident noted that the sight of these animals in the early morning is particularly wonderful, suggesting a connection with nature that residents appreciate.
Adding to the appeal of the natural environment, the park provides a lawn mowing service for its residents. This amenity contributes to the well-maintained appearance of the park and alleviates the burden of lawn care for homeowners, allowing them to enjoy the natural beauty without the upkeep. This service likely extends to the areas around the RV sites as well, ensuring a tidy and pleasant environment for all.
While the residents express overall satisfaction with Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park, one suggestion for improvement involves enhancing the enjoyment of the natural features. The wish for picnic tables or seating near the ponds for fishing, eating, and duck watching indicates a desire for more opportunities to interact with and appreciate the park's natural beauty. Implementing such amenities could further enhance the quality of life and recreational opportunities within the community, making it even more appealing to both mobile home residents and RV guests.
Although the primary focus of the reviews is on the mobile home living aspect and the park's environment, the name "Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park" implies that RV accommodations are also available. For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Dewey, OK, Lakeshore offers a potentially quieter and more nature-integrated experience compared to some traditional RV parks. The presence of mature trees and ponds could create a more scenic and relaxing backdrop for RV stays.
However, the available reviews do not provide specific details about the RV amenities offered. Typically, RV parks include hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as potentially offering restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi access. Prospective RV guests would need to contact the park directly to inquire about the availability and specifics of these amenities, as well as the size and type of RV sites offered (e.g., pull-through or back-in) and the associated rates.
The unique "fixer upper" mobile home opportunity could also be of interest to individuals seeking a very affordable long-term RV living situation. By investing in a rent-free mobile home, one could potentially secure a more spacious and permanent living arrangement for the cost of lot rent and renovation expenses, which might still be more economical than long-term RV park fees in some cases. This unconventional option sets Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park apart from typical "RV parks near me" and warrants further inquiry for those open to this type of arrangement.
In conclusion, Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park in Dewey, OK, offers a unique blend of affordable housing through its "fixer upper" program and a tranquil, nature-rich environment for both mobile home residents and potentially RV guests. The presence of mature trees, ponds with ducks and geese, and a quiet atmosphere contribute to its appeal. While specific details about the RV amenities are not provided in the available reviews, the park's name suggests that it does cater to RVs. For those seeking a peaceful setting with natural beauty and potentially very affordable long-term living options (through the mobile home program), Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park is worth exploring. Contact them at (918) 221-9790 or +1 918-221-9790 to inquire about RV accommodations, availability, rates, and the specifics of the "fixer upper" program.

Lakeshore RV & Mobile Home Park Reviews
yes, they did give me a fixer upper rent free...just pay lot rent.KEY WORDS; FIXER UPPER AND FREE! of course they need work, that"s why you don"t pay rent on the trailer. Can"t beat less than $300 a month for a 3 bedroom 2 bath home! The investment was so worth it! i love my home and the park is nice. the ponds and ducks are a wonderful sight in the early morning .
Dec 14, 2017 · Jaime Dawn WMy family has been here about six months. It's very quiet- the only noise I ever hear is because my home faces the body shop on the other side of a fence. Lots of mature trees. Lawns are kept mowed by a service.Love the ducks & geese that wander the property.Only thing I'd wish they'd improve on is putting out picnic tables or seating near the ponds for fishing & eating & duck watching.
Jun 06, 2018 · Stormy KnyghtShady business, be careful. Their rent to own contracts put you in a chokehold - when you make the last payment on the home they will place a 5 year lien on the home title and force you to be in the park for another 5 years in which you are forced to pay the lot rent. They can increase this rent at ANY time and for ANY amount. The owner argues that "moving the home off of the lot (after it is paid for) is bad for the home and the community", but if you ask me it's bad for their wallet.During the rent term you are also responsible for ALL maintenance, ALL property tax AND insurance.Did I mention this is a month-to-month contract, and that they can ask you to leave for any reason whatsoever? Say goodbye to any equity you've put into the home.If you are looking to rent-to-own or rent, find something in which you are better protected as a tenant.CAUTION: Be aware that leaving a review warrants an angry message from the owner saying you're immature and that she is going to report the review, with the final statement being "Good luck finding someone who will accept you as tenants". This person showed their true colors, overall I would avoid this place entirely.

There are hard working single parent families who are always looking for ways to improve there dwelling and community .The owners are always looking for better ways to improve property and there managment and take your feed back seriously
