Lakeway RV Resort Introduce
Are you searching for reliable and conveniently located RV parks in the Kemp, Texas area? Look no further than Lakeway RV Resort, situated at 12100 US-175. This RV park offers a range of services and features designed to make your stay comfortable, whether you're visiting family, passing through, or looking for a longer-term spot.
Based on customer feedback, Lakeway RV Resort presents a mixed experience. One recent visitor highlighted the park's cleanliness, easy pull-thru sites with full hook-ups, and the friendly nature of other guests. They also found the on-site laundry room to be reasonably priced and appreciated the accommodating nature of the owner, Rusty, during phone communications. While acknowledging a slight delay in call returns, this guest had an overall positive experience and recommended the park.
In contrast, another longer-term resident reported significant dissatisfaction with the park's management and upkeep. This review cited issues such as alleged rude behavior from the owner, inconsistent communication regarding park rules (including changes to access codes for facilities), and perceived favoritism towards certain residents. Concerns were also raised about the cleanliness of the restrooms and showers, including the presence of bugs, and the general maintenance of the clubhouse. This feedback paints a less favorable picture of the long-term living experience at Lakeway RV Resort.
Considering these varying perspectives, local users seeking an RV park for shorter stays may find Lakeway RV Resort's convenient location and basic amenities appealing. The availability of easy pull-thru sites with full hook-ups is a definite advantage for those traveling with larger RVs. The presence of a laundry room can also be a significant convenience for travelers needing to take care of laundry during their trip.
For those considering a longer stay at Lakeway RV Resort, it would be prudent to weigh the positive comments regarding the park's initial appeal against the more critical feedback concerning management style and maintenance over time. It may be beneficial to personally visit the premises and speak with the current management to gain a more up-to-date understanding of the park's current conditions and policies.
Lakeway RV Resort can be contacted directly at (903) 498-8000 or +1 903-498-8000 for inquiries about availability, pricing, and specific amenities. The park's location off US-175 offers relatively easy access, although some traffic noise may be expected, as mentioned by one reviewer.

For local users in the Kemp area or those planning a visit, Lakeway RV Resort offers a potentially convenient option for your RV needs. However, it is recommended to consider the full spectrum of recent feedback to make an informed decision that aligns with your individual expectations for an RV park experience.
In summary, Lakeway RV Resort offers a location in Kemp, TX, with pull-thru sites and full hook-ups. A laundry facility is available for guests. While one review highlights a positive short-term experience with a friendly owner and clean facilities, another long-term resident expresses significant concerns about management, communication, and the upkeep of common areas. Potential guests should consider these contrasting viewpoints when evaluating Lakeway RV Resort for their needs.

Lakeway RV Resort Reviews
We recently stayed a week at this RV park while we were in town visiting family. It's a clean park, with easy pull-thru sites and full hook-ups. Others staying there were kind, friendly, and helpful. We used the laundry room to wash our bedspreads. The price for washing and drying was very reasonable. The park is off the highway so there is a little noise from traffic. Rusty, the owner, was friendly and accommodating on our phone calls. It did take a day or two for him to return calls, but we had no problem with that. He does business old school and on the honor system. We found a site open and parked. We then made payment by placing our money in an envelope and putting it in the black box at the main building. We would recommend staying here.

Mar 20, 2025 · Carol WilliamsWould have liked to stay here. But the Trump flag flying at the entrance to the park makes me think that I am not welcome. They must not mind turning away customers. We will keep driving.
Sep 01, 2024 · Jennifer CoeTodd, who over sees the park is a nosey human being with no manners. The park has gone down hill sense rusty allowed Todd to over see the park.So much so many of us like myself have moved away. Rusty this is for you all your higher end tenants left because of him. When I say higher end the ones that who helped clean up was never late rent. You’ll be losing more people soon rusty they can’t deal with Todd anymore. It’s facts he causes issues and harassed my wife. That was my last draw
