Love's RV Stop Introduce
For local travelers and those passing through northern Alabama seeking convenient "RV parks near me," Love's RV Stop located at 2048 AL-20 in Tuscumbia, AL 35674, USA, presents a readily accessible option. As part of the well-known Love's Travel Stops network, this RV park aims to provide a reliable and clean environment for overnight stays. Based on recent customer reviews, Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia offers a mix of positive attributes, including friendly service and well-maintained facilities, alongside some areas that potential visitors should be aware of.
One of the frequently highlighted aspects of Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia is its cleanliness and neatness. A reviewer noted that the park was "very neatly kept," indicating a commitment to maintaining a tidy and presentable environment for guests. This attention to cleanliness can be a significant factor for travelers seeking a comfortable and hygienic stopover. Additionally, the availability of "nice showers" is a notable amenity, especially for those who have been on the road and appreciate clean and functional restroom facilities.
The presence of a "super friendly attendant" is another positive aspect mentioned by a reviewer. Welcoming and helpful staff can greatly enhance the overall experience at an RV park, providing assistance with check-in, site guidance, and addressing any questions or concerns. This personal touch can contribute to a more pleasant and stress-free stay, particularly for first-time visitors to the park.
The environment of Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia is somewhat influenced by its proximity to a Love's Travel Stop. While one reviewer mentioned a "decent view," the overall setting is primarily that of a convenient roadside stop rather than a secluded natural retreat. The presence of a "tiny walking trail around the camping loop" offers a small opportunity for a stroll and some fresh air, which can be a welcome feature for travelers looking to stretch their legs. However, it's important to note that the primary appeal of this location is its accessibility and the amenities associated with being part of a larger travel stop.
One reviewer suggested picking a spot on the opposite side from the truck stop to mitigate potential noise. While "the pine trees blocked all that nicely," the "noise of the trucks running" took a bit of getting used to. This indicates that while efforts are made to buffer the RV area from the activity of the truck stop, some noise may still be noticeable, particularly for those sensitive to it. Therefore, when making reservations or upon arrival, it might be beneficial to inquire about site locations that offer the most distance from the truck traffic.
A significant concern raised by one reviewer is the issue of uneven campsites. They specifically mentioned that "site 29 definitely isn't level" and it appeared to them that "most aren't." This required the use of leveling blocks, even on concrete pads that were described as "brand new." The reviewer expressed disappointment that the pads seemed to be poured to "eyeball level" rather than being precisely leveled, anticipating that this would be a common annoyance for campers. This is an important consideration for potential visitors, as ensuring a level RV is crucial for the proper functioning of appliances and overall comfort. While one reviewer found their spot to be "nice, level, and easy to access," the conflicting experience suggests that the levelness of sites may vary within the park.
Regarding services, Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia likely provides essential hookups for RVs, including electricity, water, and sewage. As part of a Love's Travel Stop, guests likely have convenient access to the amenities offered at the main facility, such as fuel, convenience store items, and potentially food options. The availability of "nice showers" within the RV park itself is a notable service. However, one reviewer experienced issues with the Wi-Fi, noting that it "wasn't really fast enough to stream." This is a common concern at many RV parks, and while the reviewer was able to use their personal 5G hotspot, potential guests who rely on park Wi-Fi for streaming or consistent internet access should be aware of this potential limitation.
The features of Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia include concrete pads at the campsites, a "tiny walking trail," and proximity to the amenities of the Love's Travel Stop. The park layout and spacing were described as "good" by one reviewer, and the sites were noted as "easy to access." The sense of security was also highlighted, with the park being described as "secure." The friendly attendant contributes to a positive atmosphere. However, the inconsistency in site levelness is a notable feature that could impact the overall experience for some visitors. The fact that the pads are new but not consistently level suggests a potential oversight in the construction process.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the customer reviews. As part of a larger chain, Love's RV Stops may have corporate-level promotions or loyalty programs. Local users interested in potential discounts or special offers should check the official Love's Travel Stops website or inquire directly when making a reservation. Given the convenience and association with a well-known travel stop brand, the primary draw of Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia is likely its accessibility and the bundled amenities rather than specific promotional deals.
In conclusion, Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia offers a convenient option for local and transient RVers seeking a clean and well-maintained overnight stay. The friendly service and access to Love's Travel Stop amenities are definite advantages. However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported issues with the levelness of some campsites and the potential for noise from the adjacent truck stop, as well as the potentially limited Wi-Fi speed. While one reviewer had a positive experience with a level site, others encountered issues requiring leveling blocks. For those prioritizing ease of access, essential amenities, and a secure environment, Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia is worth considering, but it's advisable to inquire about site levelness and location relative to the truck stop when booking.

Love's RV Stop Reviews
This is only the second Love's RV place we've stayed at (the one in Choctaw, OK was great) and I wanted to love it. I kinda did - very neatly kept, nice showers. It even had a super friendly attendant, a decent view, and a tiny walking trail around the camping loop. But...The sites are not level (maybe some are, but 29 definitely isn't and it doesn't look to me like most are). We had to use leveling blocks because our auto leveler couldn't handle the incline no matter where we positioned the camper. Now, that's not unheard of - we have to use the blocks maybe 5% of the time over the years - but I can't remember ever having to use the blocks on a concrete pad (and these pads are brand new, so no erosion or settling). Basically, they poured the pads to be "eyeball level" rather than actually level, which means every camper is going to be annoyed. Such a sad oversight - wouldn't have cost anything to do it right, but it will cost a bunch to fix. Love's corporate: make a better checklist of HOW to build these things so campers' expectations are met - I am behind you on the project and want it to succeed!
Nov 08, 2024 · ProfessorKelly305This was our first stop at a Loves RV park. We picked a very nice one for our first visit. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly park attendant who guided us to our spot. Park layout and spacing was good and the spots were nice, level, and easy to access. I would suggest picking a spot on the opposite side from the truck stop. We chose the row next to the truck stop ... Though the pine trees blocked all that nicely, the noise of the trucks running, etc took a bit to get used to. Also, the WiFi wasn't really fast enough to stream the Tennessee win over Alabama...we switched to my 5G hotspot and cheered on the Vols with no buffering. We would definitely stay here again ... Was secure, very well maintained, and super nice.
Oct 21, 2024 · Craig BarneyStayed here after a snafu at the place originally reserved further down the road. This was our first time at a Loves RV Stop. Absolutely will do again. Muscle Shoals was great! We were in #9 & #10. Looked out over a field. Was surprisingly quiet! There was a basketball at the court. Great playground. Bathrooms were very clean! Only a 5 minute walk to the Loves station to get food/snacks. Check in process was very easy and customer service was fantastic!Only thing to watch, the grass area is uneven. Easy to roll an ankle if you're not careful in some areas. The sprinklers came on overnight, which there was signage warning between 12am-6am. But it hits the camper as it comes around, which was loud at 3am. HahaOverall, fantastic option to stay!
Jun 22, 2024 · Denise Rotundo SmithWe stayed here July 2023 while moving. Great little spot to stop with a camper. Tucked behind the truck stop with only minor truck noise and you do not feel like your camping in the truck stop. Sites were very level and stayed hooked to truck overnight. Just booked another night for this summer as it is a little less than halfway point. If already planning back highways it is great, if you want to stick to interstate it is out of the way, but if you are taking US43 it is a great spot. Bathrooms were individual and very clean with private shower area inside. Our stay was very short so never saw a person but check in kiosk worked fine and no issues with power. While we were here that gate wasn’t functioning and was wide open but we stayed shortly after it opened, it hopefully is operational now.
May 05, 2024 · Dustin BlockGreat pull off location, seemingly safe, very clean with showers and small level sites, dog park, playground for children and pavilion. Price is high for the level of amenities, especially compared to the two other RV Parks I stayed in while in the area, Loves was the highest on this trip and charged an extra $3.00 for my dog to be present. There is an issue with access to showers, restrooms and gates if you don't receive your confirmation email (make sure you get your email before letting them off the phone). They do have a call button but no one responded to me. However, they do have a 24 hour phone line that I didn't bother with because it was 1 a.m. when I pulled in and where I'm from we don't call people at that time of night, regardless if it's 24 hours or not. Joe was very nice and helpful. It's a semi loud location due to the nearby highway and Love's Travel fuel station, so it's not a spot for extended stay in my opinion, for that I'd go to Florence AL RV Park and Resort 20 minutes to the northwest, they also have a heated saltwater pool and giant dog park at Florence RV Resort with complimentary laundry services for $10 less per day than Love's RV.
