May Manor Introduce
May Manor is a mobile home park located at 323 Lisa St, Lakeland, FL 33815, USA. For individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering mobile home living in the Lakeland area, May Manor presents a local option. However, based on the limited customer reviews available, it is important to approach this community with careful consideration and to seek further information before making any decisions.
One of the immediate issues highlighted by a review pertains to the accuracy of its location on Google Maps. According to this feedback, the map listing leads to a closed back fence of the property. The correct way to access May Manor, as described by the reviewer, is to turn next to a gas station and follow the road down until the park is visible on the left. This suggests that prospective visitors, whether looking to explore mobile home options or potential RV spaces, should be aware of this navigational discrepancy and plan their visit accordingly to avoid frustration. It would be prudent to verify the correct directions with the park management directly before attempting to visit.
The second review provides insights into the management and community environment at May Manor. This feedback indicates some potential concerns that prospective residents or RVers should take into account. The reviewer mentions a high turnover rate in management, with "5 new managers rather quickly." Frequent changes in management can sometimes lead to inconsistencies in policies, maintenance, and overall community stability, which might be a point of concern for those seeking a long-term living situation or even a reliable short-term RV stay.
Furthermore, the review raises questions about the enforcement of community rules. It is stated that "the rules are very loosely enforced, and they pick and choose who and when to enforce them on." This selective enforcement can lead to an unpredictable living environment and potential dissatisfaction among residents or RV guests who expect consistent application of community guidelines. The reviewer suggests a bias in rule enforcement based on personal favor, stating, "If they like you no problem but if they dont.... well..." This implies a potential for inconsistent treatment, which could be a significant drawback for those valuing fairness and consistent standards in a community setting.
Given the limited and somewhat critical nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to provide a detailed overview of the environment, services, and features of May Manor. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential amenities such as utility hookups for mobile homes (water, sewer, electricity) and basic maintenance of common areas. For those seeking 'RV parks near me', standard expectations might include RV site availability with varying hookup options, laundry facilities, and restroom/shower facilities. However, the provided reviews do not offer any specific information about these aspects at May Manor.
To objectively assess the services and features of May Manor, prospective residents or RVers would need to seek information from other sources or directly from the park management. Questions to consider might include:
- What types of utility hookups are available for mobile homes and RVs?
- Are there designated RV sites, and what are their sizes and configurations?
- Are laundry facilities available for residents and guests?
- What are the restroom and shower facilities like?
- Is there on-site management, and what are their contact hours?
- What are the community rules and regulations, and how are they enforced?
- Are there any recreational facilities or common areas (e.g., clubhouse, pool, green spaces)?
- Is the park pet-friendly, and are there any related policies or restrictions?
- What are the lease terms or rental agreements for mobile home lots and RV sites?
Similarly, information regarding the environment and features of May Manor is lacking in the provided reviews. The mention of location difficulties suggests that the immediate surroundings might not be straightforward to navigate upon initial arrival. However, the reviews do not provide insights into the overall aesthetic of the park, the presence of landscaping, noise levels, or the sense of community among residents. These are important factors for anyone considering living in a mobile home park or staying at an RV park.
Features that are often desirable in mobile home and RV parks, such as recreational facilities (e.g., swimming pool, clubhouse, sports courts), organized social activities, or security measures, are not mentioned in the available feedback for May Manor. Their presence or absence would significantly influence the appeal of the community to potential residents and RVers.
Promotional information for May Manor is also not available in the provided text. Mobile home parks and RV communities sometimes offer incentives to attract new residents or guests, such as discounted rates, move-in specials, or extended stay offers. To learn about any such promotions at May Manor, direct contact with the park management at (863) 337-5007 or +1 863-337-5007 would be necessary.
In conclusion, May Manor in Lakeland, Florida, is a mobile home park that may also offer accommodations for RVs, making it a potential option for those searching for 'RV parks near me' in the area. However, the limited customer feedback raises concerns regarding the accuracy of its online location information and potential issues with management consistency and rule enforcement. Prospective residents and RVers are strongly advised to exercise caution, verify the correct directions to the park, and seek comprehensive information directly from the management regarding services, features, and community policies. It would also be beneficial to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a broader perspective on the living experience at May Manor before making any commitments.

This place needs to be changed on Google maps. It takes you to the back fence which is closed. Instead turn next to gas station follow it down till you see it on the left.

Oct 21, 2024 · Happy TravelerWe have been owners in this Park for 5 years and I can't say enough good things about the recent ownership/management change. The park residents have anyways been terrific and so welcoming but previous ownership sadly did virtually no improvements or upkeep. We Love 💗 the new amenities (especially the Pickleball Courts) and the numerous park upgrades including Clubhouse, roads paved, new trailers and old ones renovated or removed. New management, Erica and Jessica, are wonderful and a breath of fresh air! Concerns/questions are dealt with in a timely, friendly and professional manner. What a difference.Very convenient location next to the new Lake Bonnet park and minutes to downtown Lakeland.

Dec 16, 2024 · Deborah ElliottWe have been a resident since 2017 and May Manor has never looked so good. Treehouse has put in new roads, renovated the clubhouse and my favourite -new pickleball courts! What a bonus to have these in the park. It is really nice to see lots of positive changes with older trailers being renovated or replaced. This is definitely a park that is improving. Another amazing thing is being close to the new Bonnet Springs Park. I’m looking forward to the bike path connector that I hear is coming soon. This park isn’t perfect-there is still work to be done, especially on the pool, but I want to say that I am very happy with the steady progress that is happening. Finally, a shout out to Jessica and Erica in the main office who are great to deal with.
