As an "RV park," Meredith Woods RV Park caters to recreational vehicles of various sizes, providing sites for both short-term and potentially longer-term stays. For those searching under the category "RV parks near me" in the Meredith area, Meredith Woods offers a campground experience with positive feedback regarding site quality and staff friendliness.
The environment of Meredith Woods RV Park is described as one that many visitors "absolutely love." The location in Meredith, NH, places it within easy reach of the stunning Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding natural landscapes that the Lakes Region is famous for. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, and exploring the charming towns and attractions that dot the region. The campground itself seems to offer a pleasant atmosphere that encourages return visits.
Based on customer reviews, Meredith Woods RV Park boasts several notable features. One frequently mentioned positive aspect is the size of the sites, which are described as "large" and "easy to back into." This is a significant advantage for RVers, providing ample space for their vehicles and often leaving room for outdoor setup and activities. The presence of other campers contributes to a sense of community within the park.
A key amenity that has been appreciated by visitors is the indoor pool. One reviewer specifically mentioned choosing this campground because of the indoor pool, particularly during the month of June when outdoor water temperatures might still be cool. The availability of an indoor pool can significantly enhance the camping experience, providing a recreational option regardless of the weather. However, it's important to note a recent experience shared by a guest who was unable to use the pool and hot tub for two weeks due to unspecified issues. While the reviewer acknowledged that this might not have been the fault of the new ownership, it highlights the importance of inquiring about the operational status of amenities when booking.
Another significant aspect of Meredith Woods RV Park is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Multiple reviews commend the "very friendly" helpers and the overall positive attitude of those working at the park. This can greatly contribute to a positive camping experience, making guests feel welcome and supported during their stay.
Regarding potential changes, one reviewer mentioned that the park had been bought out and might be renamed. They also noted hearing that seasonal campers were being moved out and that the park might not remain open as a four-season campground. These are important pieces of information for potential long-term or seasonal visitors to verify with the current management to understand any changes in the park's operation and availability.
The issue with the pool being out of service for an extended period, as mentioned by one guest, could be seen as a temporary setback. The reviewer's suggestion that the management might explore alternative options, such as partnerships with local hotels for pool access, indicates a desire for solutions when primary amenities are unavailable. While this particular experience was disappointing for the guest, their overall positive impression of the site and staff suggests that the park has other strong merits.
One minor drawback mentioned in a review was noticeable traffic noise. While this did not deter the reviewer from wanting to return, it is something to be aware of for those who are particularly sensitive to noise. The location on NH-104 likely contributes to this traffic. However, the positive aspects of the large sites and friendly service seem to outweigh this concern for many visitors.
In terms of promotional information gleaned from the reviews, the key selling points of Meredith Woods RV Park appear to be its large, easily accessible sites, the friendly and helpful staff, and the presence of an indoor pool (when operational). The location in Meredith provides access to the attractions of the Lakes Region, making it a desirable destination for RVers exploring New Hampshire. The positive sentiment expressed by returning guests underscores the park's appeal.
Potential visitors should be aware of the reported changes in ownership and potential operational shifts, such as the removal of seasonal campers and possible changes to the four-season operation. It is advisable to contact Meredith Woods RV Park directly at (603) 279-5449 or +1 603-279-5449 to get the most current information regarding availability, amenities, and any upcoming changes. Despite the temporary issue with the pool reported by one guest, the overall feedback highlights a friendly campground with spacious sites in a beautiful location.

Meredith Woods RV Park Reviews
I absolutely love this campground. I'm sad to hear that they got bought out by Hunter's then I believe it's now going to be called and I could not use the pool or the hot tub the two weeks, entire 2 weeks, I was there and I was looking forward to it all years. I must suffer a rheumatoid arthritis and there was no other options or anything said or given to me. I had no relief. I was so sore for 2 weeks. But other than that we still will be coming back. We absolutely love the site. The size of the site all the campers that are there. Unfortunately, I heard the seasonals are being moved out and they're not going to keep it open as a four-season campground. But all in all the helpers are very helpful and kind. And I know it's not the new onus problem or fault that the pool had issues. But I don't know. Maybe they could have called a local hotel or something to find out if somebody could have come in and use their pool. I don't know. That's why we go to this campground cuz it's an indoor pool in the month of June. You kind of need it. I can't be in cold water, I'm sorry...
