Napa Valley Expo RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Napa Valley Expo RV Park, a conveniently located option for those searching for "RV parks near me" in the heart of the renowned Napa Valley. Situated at 606 CA-121, Napa, CA 94559, USA, this RV park offers a clean and accessible base for exploring the attractions of Napa, particularly its vibrant downtown area. You can reach them at (707) 333-6014 or +1 707-333-6014 for inquiries and reservations.
Based on recent customer reviews, Napa Valley Expo RV Park is characterized as a "clean small ~34 sites, FHU RV Park," indicating a relatively intimate setting with full hookup services (water, electricity, and sewer) available at each site. The park offers both "Pull through & back-in sites," providing flexibility for different RV sizes and driver preferences. The availability of an "easy website reservation system" is also a noted convenience for travelers planning their stay.
One of the key advantages of Napa Valley Expo RV Park is its "Close walking distance to downtown." This prime location allows guests to easily access the restaurants, shops, tasting rooms, and other attractions that downtown Napa has to offer without the need for extensive driving or parking hassles. This walkability significantly enhances the overall experience for visitors wanting to immerse themselves in the local scene.
The park provides essential amenities for travelers, including "Two shower/toilet combo rooms" and a "laundry" facility. While the number of shower/toilet rooms is limited, the availability of laundry services is a definite plus for those on longer trips. The laundry facility is further praised for having "2 washers/dryers in good working order" and charging a "very" reasonable rate of "$1.50 per load!" This affordability and functionality make it a valuable amenity for guests.
However, it's important to note some potential drawbacks mentioned by reviewers. One significant limitation is the reported lack of a reliable "wi-fi signal near the road." For travelers who depend on internet connectivity for work or personal reasons, this could be a major inconvenience. It suggests that Wi-Fi service within the park may be either non-existent or very weak in certain areas.
Another environmental factor to consider is the park's proximity to Silverado Trail. As one reviewer points out, "This Park is along Silverado Trail so sites nearer to the road will hear traffic." Guests sensitive to noise might want to request sites further away from the road if available, although the small size of the park might limit these options.
A crucial piece of information for potential visitors is that "This park is closed most of spring & summer." This significant seasonal closure limits the availability of the park during peak travel times in Napa Valley. Travelers planning trips during these seasons will need to seek alternative accommodations. The reviewer who mentioned this closure had a one-night stay while "passing through," suggesting the park might be more suitable for short overnight stays during its operating season.
Despite its limitations, the same reviewer concluded that "This park worked and we enjoyed downtown." This indicates that the park served its primary purpose of providing a base for exploring Napa, particularly its downtown area. However, the reviewer also stated, "I would try to find other accommodations in the future, and most likely would have to," likely due to the seasonal closure and potential Wi-Fi issues.
Another reviewer described the park as "Roomy well kept," which contradicts the "small" description from the first review to some extent, or perhaps refers to the size of the individual RV sites. The "well kept" aspect aligns with the "clean" comment, indicating a generally maintained property. This reviewer also reiterated the lack of "cable hookup" but praised the "2 washers/dryers in good working order" and their affordable cost.
An interesting observation from the second reviewer is that the park has "Very cosmopolitan patrons, no full timers." This suggests a transient guest population, primarily consisting of travelers rather than long-term residents. This could influence the overall atmosphere and sense of community within the park.
Considering the information available, Napa Valley Expo RV Park offers a clean and well-maintained option with full hookups and a significant advantage of being within walking distance to downtown Napa. It provides essential amenities like laundry and limited shower/toilet facilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the likely lack of reliable Wi-Fi, potential traffic noise from Silverado Trail, and, most importantly, its significant seasonal closure during spring and summer.
Given the operational limitations, it is unlikely that the park offers extensive promotional deals, especially during its limited open season. To inquire about rates, availability during its operating months (likely fall and winter), and any specific policies or booking procedures, it is best to contact the park directly via phone or their website.
In conclusion, Napa Valley Expo RV Park serves as a convenient and clean base for exploring downtown Napa, offering full hookups and essential amenities. However, its seasonal closure, potential lack of Wi-Fi, and proximity to a main road with traffic noise are important factors to consider. For those traveling during its open season and prioritizing access to downtown over extensive on-site amenities or a strong Wi-Fi signal, this RV park could be a suitable option among "RV parks near me" in the Napa area. It is crucial to verify the operating schedule and Wi-Fi availability directly with the park management before making plans.

Stayed one night passing through. Clean small ~34 sites, FHU RV Park. Pull through & back-in sites. Easy website reservation system. Close walking distance to downtown. Two shower/toilet combo rooms, laundry. No wi-fi signal near the road. This Park is along Silverado Trail so sites nearer to the road will hear traffic. This park is closed most of spring & summer. This park worked and we enjoyed downtown. I would try to find other accommodations in the future, and most likely would have to.
Mar 26, 2025 · Flash RobsterRoomy well kept RV park near downtown Napa. No cable hookup but does have 2 washers/dryers in good working order and only charges $1.50 per load!Very cosmopolitan patrons, no full timers.
Mar 02, 2025 · trish larsenThe place was very clean, quiet and well maintained. You cannot have any tile of campfire which is a bit of a bummer. Excellent location. Walking distance to downtown!
Mar 08, 2025 · maria gallegoLovely campground with large spacious sites and grassy areas. there’s no official check- in office. Fortunately we knew the site number and were able to locate our site. Our reservation stated the site was a “pull-through” when in fact it was a back- in site. The phone number on our confirmation was for an entirely different campground which caused great consternation the day before we arrived. We arrived around 3:00pm much later as we sat down to dinner there was a knock at our door by an individual requesting final payment. The individual didn’t provide any ID and was poorly dressed. We paid them but quickly checked our bank to be certain we hadn’t been scammed. We were unable to access the Bathrooms as they were coded and we were not provided the code. Our second day we returned around 6:30pm wanting to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Unfortunately, the gardeners had just mowed the lawn and were using blowers to remove grass and leaves. We weren’t able to sit outside until 7:30pm. Very poor planning in the part of management We don’t plan to return toThis park
Sep 06, 2024 · Claudia HolzemerWARNING; Google GPD says take a right into the RV Park when traveling north on Silverado Trail. You actually need to turn LEFT! Entrance is ready to miss. Good space between sites, each with a picnic table. Several very long sites. Modest road noise from Silverado Trail but not bad for location. Use power surge protection ,& water pressure gauge as pressure is high. When you check in get the code for the laundry & bathrooms, they aren't listed anywhere else although you can text a number for them. Not sure how quick you get an answer. The laundry's washers is $1.50 but you have to have quarters & the change machine doesn't work. We ended up going elsewhere for laundry. Not sure how difficult it would be to get in & out of there's a big event, but there were just small groups using the nearby buildings so no problem. No frills, clean quiet parkExpensive for what you get but you're paying for location. Would stay again.
