Skyline RV Park Introduce
Skyline RV Park, situated at 2201 Imola Ave, Napa, CA 94559, USA, is a prominent option for those searching for "RV parks near me" in the heart of the renowned Napa Valley. This RV park caters to a range of travelers, from those seeking a brief stopover to those looking to explore the famed wine region for an extended period. Its location provides convenient access to Napa's myriad attractions, including wineries, gourmet dining, and picturesque landscapes.
The park's address on Imola Avenue places it strategically for easy access to major roads leading into and out of Napa, making it a practical choice for RVers. The provided contact information, phone: (707) 252-0481 and mobile phone: +1 707-252-0481, ensures that prospective visitors can easily reach out for reservations, inquiries about site availability, and any specific questions regarding park policies or amenities.
The environment at Skyline RV Park, as described by customer reviews, presents a mixed but generally accessible picture. The park appears to have a welcoming check-in process, with one reviewer noting the "guy checking us in was super nice" and another stating, "Checking in was super easy and the lady was nice and very helpful!" This indicates a positive initial impression and helpful front-desk staff, which is crucial for traveler satisfaction. The "Location is nice," suggesting that the park's setting within Napa is generally appealing and convenient for visitors wishing to explore the area.
However, some environmental aspects and operational interactions have drawn criticism. One reviewer describes an immediate and somewhat confrontational interaction with a "lady in a black car w a handicap tag," who "hassled" them about parking and pet policies. This suggests an enforcement style that some guests might find abrupt or unwelcoming, even if the underlying rules are valid. The presence of a "weird light in front of our spot, I assume for frisbee golf. Oddly weird," hints at potentially unconventional or unexplained features within the park's layout that might not align with typical RV park expectations. Additionally, the mention of "lots of stickers in the grass throughout the property that are annoying" indicates a potential issue with ground maintenance, which can be uncomfortable for pets and barefoot walking. This suggests that while there might be "open space," its usability might be hampered by these details.
In terms of services and features, Skyline RV Park aims to provide the essential amenities for RV travelers. While not explicitly detailed, it is a standard expectation for an RV park to offer full hookups, including electricity, water, and sewer connections at each site. The presence of a "dog park" is a notable feature, indicating that Skyline RV Park is a pet-friendly establishment. This is a significant draw for many RVers traveling with their canine companions. However, the feedback that the "dog park is incredibly small for how much open space there is" suggests that while the amenity exists, its size might not meet the expectations of all pet owners, especially those with larger or more active dogs. The mention of a "picnic table" at a site points to common outdoor features available for guest use, though one reviewer noted theirs was "broken and unusable," highlighting a need for better maintenance of site-specific amenities.
For RV parks, the availability of recreational features, even if basic, can enhance the stay. The "weird light" possibly for frisbee golf suggests an attempt at providing leisure activities, though its implementation might be unclear or unusual. The core service remains the provision of a secure and functional space for RVs, allowing visitors to experience the Napa Valley. The general "good" space implies that the individual sites are adequately sized for RVs, providing necessary maneuvering room and privacy.
Promotional information for Skyline RV Park would likely highlight its prime location in Napa Valley, making it an excellent base for exploring the region's famous wineries, culinary scene, and scenic beauty. For those searching "RV parks near me" with a focus on wine country exploration, Skyline RV Park positions itself as a convenient and accessible option. Its pet-friendly policy, despite the feedback on the dog park size, is also a significant draw for a large segment of the RV community. Promotional messaging would also emphasize the ease of check-in and the helpfulness of some staff members, suggesting a welcoming initial experience.
Potential guests are encouraged to contact Skyline RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers, (707) 252-0481 or +1 707-252-0481, to inquire about specific site availability, rates, and detailed amenity lists. It would also be beneficial to clarify any specific rules regarding pet policies, vehicle parking, and the use of park facilities to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. Given the mixed reviews, it is advisable for prospective visitors to consider the feedback on staff interactions and park maintenance when making their decision. Understanding that individual experiences can vary is key, and direct communication can often address potential concerns before arrival.
In conclusion, Skyline RV Park at 2201 Imola Ave, Napa, CA 94559, USA, serves as a practical and conveniently located option for RV travelers exploring the Napa Valley. It offers essential RV services, including presumably full hookups, and is pet-friendly with a dedicated dog park. While guests generally appreciate the friendly check-in process and desirable location, some operational aspects, such as inconsistent staff interactions, maintenance of outdoor spaces (e.g., stickers in grass, broken picnic table), and the perceived size of the dog park, have been noted as areas for improvement. For those looking for "RV parks near me" in Napa, Skyline RV Park provides a functional base for experiencing the region, and prospective visitors should balance the positive aspects with considerations for specific park rules and the current state of amenities.

Skyline RV Park Reviews
The guy checking us in was super nice. A lady in a black car w a handicap tag drove up immediately after we arrived and hassled me about whether I had paid for my private vehicle, which I had, without looking for the tag on the dash. She also questioned where I parked it, where the nice gentleman had told me to park. She then proceeded to tell me my dog had to be on leash at all times even after I explained to her my dog has an e-collar on and is very well trained. She just was rude. There wasn’t a soul in sight. The dog park is incredibly small for how much open space there is.There are lots of stickers in the grass throughout the property that are annoying fyi. Also a weird light in front of our spot, I assume for frisbee golf. Oddly weird.

Apr 19, 2025 · Barbara RomeroWe're spending three nights here on our way home to BC, with our little trailer. We love the location, really quiet at night and close to amenities and wineries. The showers are really very nasty, the grime is ingrained into the plastic walls and floors. Honestly, some bleach will do wonders, I'm sure, if there's any cleaning staff. Above the showers, the ceiling is really high, but covered in cobwebs, which is an easy fix to clean if anyone cared enough.
Oct 19, 2024 · Chantal MWhat a great place to be. Very nice personel. A nice and clean place, good toilet and shower facilities. We have been here twice in our transit and have enjoyed every minute off it. Dogs are welcome. And a lot of nice trials to walk are next to the camp sites. All the hook ups for a camper are there and also a dump station. Again lovely people who run the camp site! Thank you. For a wonderfull time (rv spot 14, 16-18 may)
May 18, 2024 · Michael KrijgerShowers are gross! RV’s are placed soooo closed to each other, you can’t enjoy the what should be a nice view…. But that wouldn’t be the worst. It’s the owners…. They are soooo unfriendly and impolite. We were 10 minutes later than checkout time and there came a lady and a boy to wait at our motorhome so we would check-out. Being nice doesn’t cost a thing…. . The lady explained the code for the gate and the map and when we asked her a question she said really harsh “Do you want me to explain or not???”
