Environment and Community at Evergreen Poplar (Based on Reviews)
Based on the provided customer reviews, the living environment at Evergreen Poplar appears to be a significant concern for some residents. One review describes it as the "WORST living environment" the reviewer had ever resided in over a three-year period. This paints a picture that starkly contrasts with the typically desired peaceful community environment. The review mentions frequent changes in management (at least four managers in three years) and persistent issues with maintenance. Another review echoes concerns about unprofessionalism and maintenance incompetence, further suggesting potential challenges with the overall environment and upkeep of the park.
Services and Maintenance (Based on Reviews)
The reviews provide critical feedback regarding the services and maintenance at Evergreen Poplar. One resident detailed numerous unresolved issues with their trailer over several years, including a cockroach infestation upon moving in, a collapsing deck and stairs, a broken kitchen window that remained unfixed for over a year, faulty electrical wiring, a leaking living room window and kitchen cupboard, and holes in the floor leading to safety concerns and renewed cockroach problems. The reviewer expressed frustration with the lack of repairs, attributing it to the owner's alleged limited budget for maintenance and a prioritization of "bigger problems." The maintenance man is described as not knowing how to fix things, with an example given of incorrectly caulked windows.
Another review mentions issues with bags (likely trash), mold, and inconsistent or poor water quality ("rusted nasty gotta boil it every day"), despite being charged for water. This review also states that electrical issues in half of a trailer were not addressed. These accounts suggest significant shortcomings in the provision of basic services and timely, effective maintenance within the park.
Features (Based on Reviews)
Based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews, positive features of Evergreen Poplar are not readily apparent. Instead, the recurring themes highlight significant problems with the infrastructure, maintenance, and overall living conditions. Evergreen Poplar Reviews
I have been living here for 3 years and it's been the WORST living environment I have ever resided in. Let's start by mentioning they have been through at least 4 managers in this time period and absolutely nothing has changed with this park. They have fired and rehired the maintenance man time and time again because he doesn't know how to fix anything...he couldn't even caulk our living room window correctly. To the problems with my trailer specifically:When I paid the first months rent and deposit back in September 2021, I was under the impression I could go right in and be able to live in it...boy was I wrong. This trailer was INFESTED with cockroaches. We spent over $80 setting off bug bombs and using home remedies to get rid of them. After a month of still not being able to move in, they finally called Orkin and our cockroach problem was finally solved. Not even 6 months later, I fell through our deck. We let them know and the maintenance man came an tore it apart and took our back steps to put up front until he fixed it. So now here we are, not able to get out the back door in case of an emergency. They finally fixed it and then a few days later our wooden stairs also fell apart from him tugging and pulling on it to move it. We went with a broken windows in our kitchen for over a year-the reason for not fixing that? "The owner only gives us a fixed amount of money and the trailer with bigger problems get fixed first." The whole trailer was wired wrong and our living room light flickered every time it rained, the living room window leaked so bad we could fill a 1 quart bowl of water whenever it rained, the outlet in my KIDS bedroom started burning and almost caused a fire, the trim is falling off the ceiling leaving nails everywhere, the metal trim on the floor has come up and cut our feet, the cupboard in the kitchen leaks when it rains, and my absolute FAVORITE part is that my boyfriends mom has fallen through the kitchen floor and my boyfriend recently fell through the floor by the door. Due to the holes in the floor we have once again obtained cockroaches. Due to this we have left the trailer because of safety issues and will not be back. They're too cheap to fix things and they don't care about their tenants. The only people succeeding (if you'd call it that) are managers, maintenance people, former managers, and family members. Besides that tenants don't matter.
Dec 20, 2024 · Amy MathiasVery unprofessional ppl. Maintenance don’t know anything. Have had bags. Mold. No water. Charge us for water but rusted nasty gotta boil it ever day. Fought with them for years to fix issues. Electric don’t work in half the trailer and they don’t do nothing about it. Manager is never in office all ways riding around on a mower. Ppl got bit by dogs out there. Cats over run the trailer park. A lot more ppl have the same issues as me. Health department has been called on them and came out and all already.
Oct 07, 2024 · Zach Hall (Noddel342)I wish I could say more positive than negative but I would be lying: 1) I have attempted to call all numbers available to no avail AND no call backs: no voice-mail is a severe issue. 2) why am I paying for water that isn't potable? My water got turned off ($100 bonus fee of $30 a month[ plus, it was in my ex roommate's name and they won't let me change it and I'm the main signature on the lease]) let's have fun... THEY DON'T LIKE COMBAT VETS... they ignore, dismiss and certainly DO NOT LIKE ANYONE FROM OUT OF STATE...
Aug 21, 2023 · Anthony KemskeI would not recommend living in this trailer park it is run down there are drugs through it not worth renting there I would recommend an apartment complex before I would recommend this trail park and I don't even like apartment complexes
Mar 11, 2024 · Mark ClineI've lived in Lot 69 for about 3 months and there wasn't a light switch for the living room or front porch light. The stove plug wasn't working at all. The windows were tapped up with film. And the layout was horrible couldn't get nothing through any of the doors. Bathroom was okay but still had bad leaks from previous fixes.
