Based on the available customer reviews, Highland Manufactured Home Community appears to have some significant drawbacks that potential local residents should be aware of. One reviewer paints a picture of a rather disruptive living environment, stating that the "roads are terrible" and that "lot rent goes up every year." Furthermore, they describe the community as "very loud," particularly for those not working a first-shift job. According to this review, maintenance and construction work can begin as early as 7 am and continue until 7 pm, including Saturdays. This results in "loud construction equipment/vehicles idling and vibrating your house for hours on end."
The same reviewer also expresses concerns about the community's respect for business hours, alleging that residents are not informed when work will be done on their lot, leading to unexpected "loud noises and people in your yard with no explanation." Additionally, they mention that mowing can start as early as 8 am, with mowers operating throughout the park all day. The review concludes by noting a lack of activities for children, frequent speeding within the park, and an overall impression of a "very busy loud park." This feedback suggests a potentially noisy and disruptive living environment with issues related to infrastructure and communication.
Another reviewer who has resided in the park for five years echoes the concern about increasing lot rent, stating, "If you like the rental price now don't get used to it they raise rent every year and fixed nothing." This individual also criticizes the maintenance, specifically mentioning that potholes are only poorly patched and reappear shortly after. As a result of these issues, this reviewer indicates their intention to move to another community, Deer Ridge, citing stable rent and amenities for children as reasons for the planned move. This further underscores potential dissatisfaction with the management's approach to maintenance and rental costs at Highland Manufactured Home Community.

Highland Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Roads are terrible, lot rent goes up every year. Very loud, wouldn't recommend moving here if you don't work 1st shift. Maintenance/construction work will start as early as 7am, and go on until as late as 7pm. This includes Saturdays as well. So enjoy loud construction equipment/vehicles idling and vibrating your house for hours on end. The community has no respect for business hours, they also never let you know when people will be working on your lot. You get to wake up to loud noises and people in your yard with no explanation. Mowing can also start as early as 8am, and the mowers are driving around the park all day. Nothing for kids to do, people speeding through the park all the time. Very busy loud park.
Oct 05, 2024 · Seth RamirezIve been here for 5 years If you like the rental price now don't get used to it they raise rent every year and fixed nothing all they do patch pothole badly and they show back up 2 months later moving soon deer ridge because they have never raised they're rent and have parks for my kids
Mar 15, 2025 · TotallyNot DarylI have been here about 16yrs and it has never been better than now. I appreciate the Management having people take accountability for things laying around outside. I doubt anyone who complained even cuts their own grass. I believe things will just keep getting better. Keep up the good work Michelle. The roads are fine unless people would like the rent increased.
Oct 05, 2023 · Michael GormanGiving 4 stars because this place is definitely improving.. still would like to see more improvement in the main roadways and our personal drivways.. The new management has been a blessing to this place. When we first moved in here we were promised some things by management that never got honored so again I'm thankful for the new management because I'm sure she will do what she promises her tenants.
Dec 27, 2023 · Pamela RoddyBeen here over 40 years. Seen many ups and downs. Right now there is a lot of cats out there. My wish is road improvements and drivers stop at 4 way. Very nice and helpful guy, Logan I hear. Not met other employee.
