Spacious Acres Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Spacious Acres Manufactured Home Community, situated at W1211 Meadowview Dr #78, Sullivan, WI 53178, USA, serves as a residential option for those seeking manufactured home living in Wisconsin. While it may appear in searches for "RV Parks Near Me" due to the general categorization of land-lease communities, its primary function is to provide long-term residency for manufactured home owners. To offer a comprehensive understanding of this community, it's essential to examine its environment, the services and features it provides, and critically, the varying perspectives of its residents as reflected in public reviews.
The environment of Spacious Acres presents a mixed picture, based on available feedback. One review describes it as "Looks like a nice place," indicating an initial positive visual impression. This perception is reinforced by the mention of a "Playground has been recently updated and now has a basketball court and a nice pond." These amenities contribute positively to the community's environment, particularly for families, by providing recreational spaces for children and communal areas for residents to enjoy. The presence of a pond could enhance the aesthetic appeal and offer opportunities for relaxation or passive recreation. Furthermore, the review notes that "Roads are In fair condition and park is clean," suggesting that basic infrastructure and cleanliness standards are met, at least in the observation of this particular visitor. This positive assessment indicates that some aspects of the park's physical environment are indeed well-maintained and appealing.
However, another review offers a starkly contrasting perspective on the community's environment and management. This review describes the place as "Horrible place to live," alleging that management "target who they want" and that residents are "more than likely to get kicked out" if they are not compliant with perceived management expectations. This feedback paints a picture of a challenging social and administrative environment. Furthermore, this critical review claims that management "don’t take of anything or fix anything" and that they "start projects and have piles of dirt all over but never finish anything." This directly contradicts the observation that the "park is clean" and roads are in "fair condition," suggesting a significant disparity in experiences or a change in conditions over time. The mention of "piles of dirt all over but never finish anything" implies ongoing, perhaps neglected, maintenance or development projects that detract from the overall aesthetic and functionality of the community for some residents.
In terms of services and features, beyond the updated playground, basketball court, and pond, a manufactured home community like Spacious Acres typically provides basic utilities such as water, sewer, and trash services, for which residents usually pay lot fees. The availability of these core services is fundamental to comfortable living. While the reviews don't detail specific types of homes available (new, used, for sale, for rent), as a "Manufactured Home Community," it primarily caters to individuals or families who own their mobile homes and lease the land from the park. The conflicting reports on maintenance and project completion are crucial here. If projects are indeed left unfinished, this directly impacts the services and features available to residents and the overall quality of life within the park. The operational consistency and responsiveness of management in addressing infrastructure and maintenance issues are paramount for resident satisfaction and the long-term viability of the community.
For individuals considering Spacious Acres Manufactured Home Community under the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it's vital to recognize that this is primarily a long-term residential community for manufactured homes, not a short-term RV park for transient stays. Therefore, the services and features are geared towards permanent residents. The phone number provided, (262) 593-2311 or +1 262-593-2311, would be the direct contact for inquiries about available lots, home sales, rental opportunities, and current park policies. Due to the significant divergence in resident experiences, prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include visiting the community in person to observe the current conditions of the roads, common areas, and any ongoing projects. It would also be highly beneficial to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain varied perspectives on the management's responsiveness, the community atmosphere, and the actual state of maintenance and unfinished projects.
From a promotional perspective, the positive attributes of Spacious Acres would highlight the recently updated recreational amenities, the perceived cleanliness, and its location in Sullivan, WI. Sullivan offers a quieter, small-town atmosphere while still providing access to regional amenities in larger nearby cities. Manufactured home communities often represent an affordable housing solution, which can be a significant draw for many individuals and families. However, the critical feedback regarding management practices and unaddressed maintenance issues presents a counterbalance to these positive aspects. For any management company, addressing resident concerns transparently and effectively is crucial for building a positive reputation and ensuring a harmonious community. The review that states, "Look for a better place than here. Be smart," serves as a strong warning that necessitates careful consideration and independent verification by any potential resident.
In conclusion, Spacious Acres Manufactured Home Community presents a complex picture. It offers appealing features like updated recreational facilities, and some residents perceive it as clean and well-maintained. However, serious allegations regarding management practices, including targeting residents and failing to complete maintenance projects, cannot be overlooked. For anyone searching for "RV Parks Near Me" who might be considering a long-term manufactured home residency, it is imperative to directly engage with the community management, clarify their policies, and critically assess the current state of the park and its management through personal observation and varied resident testimonials before making any commitment. The objective is to ensure that the living environment aligns with one's expectations for community, service, and maintenance.

Spacious Acres Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Horrible place to live they target who they want. Pretty much if you don’t got your nose up their beach ball size fast lazy donkey you are more than likely to get kicked out. Never would ever recommend for anyone moving here. They don’t take of anything or fix anything. They start projects and have piles of dirt all over but never finish anything. Look for a better place than here. Be smart.

Apr 10, 2024 · Randy TG1First moved to Spacious Acres in 1987 + have lived in 2 homes here. “UPGRADED” from an older 14X70 to a lovely 16X80 in 1996. The community was purchased by a new company just a month ago so I can’t speak about this company. The new owners, I am told, is the manufacture home company in the USA. I can speak about the last 35 years living here though. 😊 I have always felt “safe” here. Bruce the manager when we first moved, and for many years after, was amazing! A hard working hands-on manager! After Bruce retired we had a flurry of management people come and go. 😑 A few years ago COLLEEN became our manager and she with a team of 2 very hard maintenance people have been the heart of our community! All 3 such hard workers! COLLEEN is our “go-to” person and always available. She is a critical thinker and there for guidance….always with a smile! This team of 3 not only work endlessly to make our community a better place but also have to appease the “crabby-pants” people that always complain about something! 😵💫It’s been a pleasure living here but it’s time to move on to a warmer climate 🌴😎,Spacious Acres is truly a hidden jewel quietly surrounded by farmland. Not often does a home go up for sale here! I would highly recommend living in this community.Judy Hedrick
Oct 25, 2022 · Judy HedrickWe had a tree fall on our back porch, we couldn’t open the door to get out, maintenance said it wasn’t a big deal, well, IF we had a fire and wouldn’t have been able to get out of our front door, It WOULD Have been a Big Deal!!! A WEEK and 2 days later they came and cleaned it up, we asked management to take the other dead trees down behind our home, their answer.... We cannot afford it at this time😳😳 REALLY??? I just read how much $$$ RHP makes, this makes my stomach turn!!!
Sep 09, 2023 · Brenda FrickRecently got new owners. The patk manager, Sarah, is wonderful. However when an issue arose, she refused to give me the name of the park owner, an email, a phone number or a name of anyone I could speak to. I've made over a dozen calls to the Home Source One and Asset Development and NOT ONE of my messages was answered. VERY shoddy way of doing business. Also, I'd like to ensure that there is water in our fire hydrants. When Bruce Ingersoll managed this place it was done regularly. The trailer across the street from me caught fire in the middle of the night, FIVE fire depts responded and the hydrabts were bone dry. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE, and grossly illegal. You raise my rent every year, cut services, and then don't even bother to comply with the laws, compromising our lives and risking loss of my property. You need to step up your game and RIGHT NOW.
