North Atlanta RV Park Introduce
For local users seeking "rv parks near me" in the vicinity of Atlanta and Winder, Georgia, North Atlanta RV Park, situated at ATTN Office, 1124 GA Hwy 211 Lot 5, Winder, GA 30680, presents itself as a potentially appealing option. Based on the limited online feedback available, the park is described as a quiet, clean, and well-maintained facility with good amenities for RV living.
One reviewer who has stayed at North Atlanta RV Park characterizes it as a "quiet and great place to stay," indicating a peaceful environment that could be particularly attractive to those seeking a tranquil retreat or a restful stopover. This positive feedback suggests that the park prioritizes a calm atmosphere, which can be a significant draw for RV travelers.
Furthermore, the same reviewer specifically mentions "great hook ups," implying that the park provides reliable and functional utility connections for RVs. This is a crucial aspect for RVers, as it ensures access to essential services such as electricity, water, and sewage disposal. The positive mention of hookups suggests that the park is well-equipped to meet the needs of modern recreational vehicles.
The location of North Atlanta RV Park is also noted as being in a "very nice area" and "close to Winder." This proximity to Winder offers the convenience of accessing local amenities, services, and attractions. While the specific nature of the area and its attractions is not detailed, the positive descriptor suggests a pleasant and accessible setting for RVers.
Another key aspect highlighted in the review is the cleanliness and upkeep of the park, with the reviewer stating it is "very clean and well kept up!!!" This is a significant factor for many RV travelers, as it reflects the management's attention to detail and commitment to providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for their guests. A clean and well-maintained park contributes to a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience.
However, it is important to acknowledge a separate piece of feedback from a prospective resident who has encountered difficulties in contacting the park management. This individual mentions riding through the park several times and speaking to a couple of people but has been unable to get a return call, despite expressing a need for RV accommodation. This suggests a potential issue with communication or responsiveness from the park's office, which could be a point of concern for potential new residents or short-term visitors trying to make inquiries or reservations.
Given this mixed feedback, local users considering North Atlanta RV Park as one of their options for "rv parks near me" should weigh the positive comments regarding the park's environment and facilities against the potential challenges in communication. The positive reviews themselves serve as a form of positive endorsement, highlighting the park's quiet nature, cleanliness, and good hookups as reasons to consider staying there. However, the communication issue reported by a prospective resident might detract from this positive image for some.

Sep 30, 2024 · Susan MealorI have stayed here and is quiet and great place to stay. Great hook ups.Very nice area. Close to Winder.Very clean and well kept up!!!Jared Daab.
Sep 27, 2024 · jared daabIf you have not stayed at the park DO NOT LEAVE A REVIEW!! Seriously people- you are NOT ranking anything but your 'frustration' and your whining about not having a response from Steve.Yes, 'technically' you are sharing your 'experience' and thus the rating... but you are ranking something you have absolutely NO clue about; actully staying at the park and getting the 'full' experience. But fear not... Steve 'might' be inclined to contact you if you did what I did. Actally visit the park prior to contacting him, speaking with residents and THEN leaving him a message that 'name dropped' a few people I met, stating my desire to stay LONG TERM, offering to pay several months up front and - MOST IMPORTANTLY- left him a 'detailed' description of my Rig- year, footage, etc.,.I also added in (unsolicited) that I am a disabled vet, cancer survivor- but still worked part time and what kind of professional work I did, etc.Are you 'required' to do that? No... but I wanted him to get an idea of who would be staying there long term- and wanted to have the best shot at landing a spot- so, I tossed that info in for good measure. And guess what? He contacted me. And I was put on a wait list... 30 days later I had a spot. This is a LONG TERM RV Park! They have no 'office', no 'on-site' staff! Don't expect 'immediate gratification'- and there us a good chance that if you get contacted back that there 'could' be a wait list. This isn't a KOA or Trails campground... so manage your expectations accordingly. With that being said...I've been there 2.5 years and love the place! It is kept clean, it's quiet, secluded, the residents cordial... and MOST telling of all? I have NEVER seen the police in the park in 2.5 years (Granted they might have visited... but I have never seen them in the park- Ambulances- yes, police? No).Why is lack of Police presence important? (No, I am not anti-police .. I support the blue). Oh the Police are OUT there in the area, for sure! (Speed on 211 in that area? Not unless you are begging for a ticket).Good people, good behavior and a good setting = no need for a police visit. Can you say that about RV parks in general? NO! That should tell you all you need to know about safety and security. And I'm sure Steve appreciates a resident who pays on time, keeps his spot relatively clean and is proactive about spotting and reporting water/sewer issues as well as following best practices for 'Freeze Warnings'. In other words- looking after his interests as well as my own.
May 20, 2024 · Paul HardisterGreat little RV park! Very quiet and everyone was friendly and helpful. Melinda was extra helpful after arriving after sunset, we had encountered that our spot was taken a simple Steve owner mistake but Melinda quickly took my Husband in her car and showed him 2 spots that were still available and had both 30amp/50amp, sewer, water hook up, community trash container and mailboxes (mailman comes around 3pm). We stayed a week for $150.
Mar 10, 2018 · Leena BurnsWe drove past here after like all the other reviews state, we called with no reply or answer. There’s actually a sign for a mobile home park with the same phone number listed on the main road. There’s no designated office, but it looks completely full of full timer rvs and mobile homes. It doesn’t look anything like the pictures. Don’t waste your time. They’re either not in business or at capacity.
