North Pointe RV Resort, located at 428 Campground Rd, Selma, NC 27576, USA, is a well-established and frequently chosen destination for RV travelers searching the "RV Parks Near Me" category, particularly those traversing the I-95 corridor. This resort offers a blend of convenience and amenities, catering to both overnight guests and those planning extended stays in the Eastern North Carolina region. Its strategic location near I-95 provides easy access, making it a practical stop for travelers, while its various facilities enhance the overall camping experience.
The environment at North Pointe RV Resort is characterized by its convenient placement and a commitment to cleanliness, though it's important to set expectations regarding noise due to its proximity to major transportation routes. As noted by a customer, the campground is "very convenient to I-95." This accessibility is a double-edged sword, as residents "will hear trucks, trains, and helicopters through the night." However, the general consensus suggests that this noise is "not so loud as to keep you awake unless you are a light sleeper," indicating that for most, it's a manageable background hum of active transportation. Despite the sounds of transit, the campground is consistently described as "clean." It features a "nice catch and release pond" which adds a scenic and recreational element to the environment, allowing for a more relaxed setting within the park. The presence of trees provides some shade, and sites are often noted for being spacious and level, accommodating various RV sizes. The overall atmosphere aims to provide a pleasant and well-maintained retreat, despite the sounds of nearby commerce and travel, creating a functional and appealing environment for RVers.
North Pointe RV Resort offers a solid array of services and amenities designed to make an RV stay comfortable and convenient. For daily needs, there is a "laundry service," which is a crucial amenity for long-term travelers and those seeking to freshen up their belongings. The park also provides essential hookups for RVs, including water, sewer, and electric services (often 30/50 amp), catering to the full needs of modern RVs. The availability of a "catch and release pond" offers a recreational service for those who enjoy fishing, and it's highlighted as a "nice" feature. Furthermore, the park includes a "dog park," a valuable service for pet owners, acknowledging the growing number of travelers with furry companions. While the dog park "needs some repairs" as one review indicates, its presence is a significant plus. The ability to secure "same day reservation" speaks to the efficiency of their booking services, providing flexibility for spontaneous travel plans. For any inquiries, North Pointe RV Resort can be reached at (919) 965-5923 or +1 919-965-5923, ensuring direct communication for reservation or information needs. The campground is described as being able to accommodate "big rigs," with many "pull-through sites," which are highly sought after for their ease of access, especially for larger vehicles or for quick overnight stops where unhitching is not desired. The level sites are another key feature, simplifying the setup process for campers. The catch and release pond is a popular feature, offering a tranquil spot for relaxation and a bit of angling without needing a fishing license. The dog park, despite needing some minor attention, signifies a pet-friendly environment, a significant feature for many RV travelers. The presence of a clubhouse, playground, and various sports courts such as basketball and pickleball, alongside a game room, suggests a community-oriented approach with options for entertainment and social interaction. For those concerned about connectivity, the park generally offers Wi-Fi access, and good cellular reception for major carriers is often reported. The park also focuses on cleanliness, with well-maintained restrooms and showers, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests.
Promotional information for North Pointe RV Resort is effectively communicated through its convenient location and positive customer experiences. The ease of access from I-95 is a primary promotional point, making it an ideal stop for travelers needing a break during long journeys. The fact that guests can often secure "same day reservation" highlights its flexibility and readiness to accommodate last-minute arrivals. The appreciation shown by a customer for a full refund due to unforeseen family matters ("North Point was gracious enough to give us a full refund. We are so appreciative of their kindness and understanding") serves as powerful promotional material, showcasing the resort's customer-centric approach and compassionate management. This kind of flexibility and understanding can greatly influence a traveler's decision when choosing an RV park. Furthermore, the amenities like the "nice catch and release pond" and the "dog park" are promoted as attractive features for different segments of the RV community. The overall cleanliness and the stated willingness of guests to "stay here again" are strong indicators of satisfaction and effective word-of-mouth promotion. North Pointe RV Resort Reviews
The campground is very convenient to 95. You will hear trucks, trains, and helicopters through the night but not so loud as to keep you awake unless you are a light sleeper. Overall, this campground is clean. There is a nice catch and release pond and laundry service. They had a dog park that was nice and clean but needs some repairs (my dogs collar got caught on the fencing). We were able to get a same day reservation. We would stay here again.
May 03, 2025 · Candy HI have not been able to stay at North Point RV Resort yet but I plan to one day. My family and I booked a trip and due to an unforeseen family matter we had to cancel. North Point was gracious enough to give us a full refund. We are so appreciative of their kindness and understanding.
Apr 04, 2025 · Darlene RobertsGreat RV resort directly in I-95. Spacious pull-thru spots with full hook-ups, convenience store, pool, children’s play area, a small lake for fishing, dog park.
Mar 30, 2025 · Dana ThainWe're here long term and after only a few weeks, it already feels like home. The sites are spacious and I love that each site has a concrete patio. This campground actually FEELS like a campground. There are so many things to do, and I love that there's an active community on Facebook that lets you know when things are going on at the clubhouse. The office is open reasonable hours 7 days a week, so chances are, you'll always be able to get help from someone if you need it. Everyone here is so friendly, and we've had several long timers stop by and chat just to see how we're doing.Whether you're staying for a night, a week, or many months, this is a great spot! Even being close to 95 doesn't bother us because the trees filter out a decent amount of sound.
Oct 22, 2024 · Amanda LeeIt was an easy off and on the interstate. The sites are nicely spaced and easy to get into. The dog yard is clean, not huge but my dane and Bernedoodle could zoom around ok. I would stay again.
