Welcome to Olympic Adventure Campground, located at 192602 US-101, Forks, WA 98331, USA. If you are searching for 'camping near me' in the Forks, Washington area, Olympic Adventure Campground presents itself as an option with a range of experiences reported by different visitors. You can contact them at (360) 460-7475 or their mobile number, +1 360-460-7475, for inquiries about availability and specific services.
The environment of Olympic Adventure Campground appears to have both positive and negative aspects according to the provided reviews. One reviewer found it "beautiful" with "plenty of trails and open areas to walk around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings." This suggests that the campground offers natural beauty and space for outdoor enjoyment. However, another reviewer mentioned that the site "looks unkempt" and is "located right next to a main road," indicating potential issues with aesthetics and noise. The proximity to US-101 could offer convenience in terms of access but might detract from the tranquility for some campers. Another positive aspect of the location is its convenience to the town of Forks, described as "just about a 2-minute drive into town," making it easy to access supplies and explore the local area. For local users looking for 'camping near me', the balance between natural beauty and potential road noise, as well as the proximity to town, might be important factors to consider.
In terms of services, the reviews provide a mixed picture. One positive note is the "warm and welcoming hospitality of John and his wife," who reportedly "went above and beyond" to be helpful and ensure guests had what they needed. The check-in process was also described as "smooth and easy." However, other reviews point out several limitations. One camper noted that the office was closed outside of listed hours, causing inconvenience. Another mentioned a service fee charged at checkout for an online booking. The internet was described as "very slow and inconsistent." Furthermore, the sites are reported to only have water and electricity, with "no sewerage," which is crucial information for RV campers. Showers are also mentioned as an "extra charge." Access to additional information, like the bathroom key, apparently requires a "separate app." For local users seeking 'camping near me', these details about the services and potential extra costs are important to note.
Features of Olympic Adventure Campground include "spacious" RV spots, which is a positive aspect for those traveling with recreational vehicles. The presence of trails and open areas suggests opportunities for walking and enjoying the outdoors within the campground itself. However, the lack of sewer hookups at the sites is a limitation for some RVers. The extra charge for showers and the need for a separate app for certain information could also be seen as less convenient features. The high price per site mentioned by one reviewer, coupled with what they perceived as "quite poor" amenities, might be a point of concern for budget-conscious campers looking for 'camping near me'.
One reviewer had such a negative experience, citing the unkempt appearance, roadside location, office closure, extra fees, poor internet, lack of sewer, high price, extra charge for showers, and app-based information access, that they decided to stay only one night instead of three and advised against staying there. This strongly contrasts with another reviewer who had a "fantastic stay," praising the beauty, maintenance, hospitality, and convenience to town. This significant difference in experiences highlights the importance of considering various perspectives when evaluating this campground for your 'camping near me' needs.
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Campgrounds sometimes offer discounts for longer stays, seasonal specials, or other promotions. To find out if Olympic Adventure Campground has any current offers for local users, it would be best to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiring about potential fees (like the service fee mentioned) and the cost of showers would also be advisable when making a booking.
In summary, Olympic Adventure Campground in Forks, WA, offers a location convenient to town with some natural beauty and spacious RV spots, along with reportedly warm hospitality. However, some visitors have noted issues such as an unkempt appearance, road noise, office hours, extra fees, slow internet, lack of sewer hookups, extra charges for showers, and the need for an app for some information. The price per site was also considered high by one reviewer relative to the amenities. For local users looking for 'camping near me', it is crucial to weigh these contrasting experiences and the details about services and features to determine if Olympic Adventure Campground meets their expectations and needs. Contacting them directly for the most up-to-date information on pricing, services, and any potential promotions is recommended.

Olympic Adventure Campground Reviews
Not a good campsite.I don't feel comfortable at this site. It looks unkempt and is located right next to a main road.I arrived here at 4:30 PM and the office was already closed, even though business hours are listed as 8 AM to 6 PM.That's why I booked my spot online rather than in person at the office. When I checked out, I had to pay a service fee of about $15 extra. The internet is very slow and inconsistent. The sites only have water and electricity, no sewerage. The price per site is very high, and the amenities are quite poor.Showers are an extra charge.Additional information, such as the bathroom key, can only be accessed via a separate app.I will only stay one night instead of the planned three.I would advise against staying here.
Apr 24, 2025 · Info HausBrot**A Fantastic Stay at Olympic Adventure Campground!**We recently stayed at Olympic Adventure Campground in Forks, WA, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The location is incredibly convenient—just about a 2-minute drive into town, making it perfect for quick trips to grab supplies or explore Forks. The campground itself was beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of trails and open areas to walk around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. While there was a bit of road noise, it was only noticeable when we were outside of our camper and didn’t detract from the overall tranquility of the campground.A huge highlight of our stay was the warm and welcoming hospitality of John and his wife. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were always so kind and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the RV spots were spacious, providing plenty of room to set up comfortably.Overall, Olympic Adventure Campground provided a perfect blend of convenience, natural beauty, and top-notch service. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Forks area, and we’ll definitely be back for another stay! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Jan 21, 2025 · Alex McKenzieMe and my boyfriend loved camping here, it was the best camp site either of us had ever visited. They had three private bathroom trailers which were very clean and stocked daily with toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. We’ve seen some really disgusting camp bathrooms before and these were such a treat. The Potable water was only about 50 feet from our site (tent site #7), which made dishes easy. And there were bark chips on the ground which made sleeping comfy especially considering our air mattress had a surprise hole in it. They had firewood available for sale at the gift shop and the hosts were friendly. Overall it was the perfect combination of comfort and roughing it. Only a 1 minute drive from town too! Take a left turn and you’ll see the welcome to forks sign. Very pleased!
Sep 27, 2024 · Jordan ShayeWanted to like this RV camp but the bathrooms and showers are horrible. The hot water has to be turned on by the owner and the control knobs aren’t easy to work . The water got so hot and then when you turn on some cold the water completely turns Cold . Also you have to find the owner and ask that the water be turned on . The bathrooms are not clean , there are not paper towels in all the units. The cost is $5.00 to use these showers . The campground while we were here was run more like a hobby not an active business, it was early October and the weather was beautiful but the owner I guess made his big money already and didn’t seem to want to be fully involved. I do not recommend this place. Ridiculous bathrooms , no laundry and the store is never open .
