Located on Watsonville Road, Oak Dell Park benefits from a slightly more rural setting compared to the immediate town center of Morgan Hill. This location offers the advantage of a cooler climate, with residents noting it's generally 5-8 degrees cooler than in town, providing a welcome respite during the warmer months. The quieter surroundings contribute to the park's peaceful ambiance, with one resident describing evenings where "you can hear a pin drop," emphasizing the tranquility that distinguishes it from a typical bustling "RV park environment."
One of the most compelling aspects of Oak Dell Park, as highlighted by a ten-year resident, is its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. This long-term tenant shared a heartwarming anecdote about their two-year-old niece frequently visiting and playing on their site without ever encountering any discomfort or negative reactions from other residents or management. This level of support and helpfulness from the management can be invaluable for long-term RV residents, offering a sense of security and assistance when needed.
Interestingly, the ten-year resident also offered a perspective on any potential negative reviews, suggesting that they often originate from individuals who have caused issues, broken park rules, or treated the office staff inappropriately. The park's atmosphere is further characterized as being akin to a "country neighborhood," appealing to those who prefer a more relaxed and less transient setting. The long-term resident explicitly stated that it's the ideal place for "laid back and low maintenance" individuals, while cautioning that it may not be suitable for those interested in gossip or disruptive behavior. This clear description helps prospective residents understand the community's culture and whether it aligns with their own lifestyle.

Oak Dell Park Reviews
I've lived here in Oak Dell RV Park for 10 years ( I meant to only stay for one), and I love it!My two year old niece comes over at least 3 times a month, and we walk down the driveway, play ball in my site and have NEVER had anyone make me feel uncomfortable about having her here. It's generally 5-8 degrees cooler here than in town. You can here a pin drop in the evenings, and the park feels less like an "RV park environment" and more like a country neighborhood. The management team of Janet and Stuart are accommodating, and helpful. They are knowledgeable when it comes to maintaining your RV. Or who to go to for repairs.I have learned, after 10 years here. The very few people who have negative reviews of the park can usually be traced back to those people making a problem, breaking the rules, or treating the office staff inappropriately. Not to mention, when my husband and I have inquired about rents, amenities, and rules in the other parks in the area it's been clear that when it comes down to it Oak Dell is our choice. It's affordable. It's as clean as a whistle, and safe as can be. Managers don't seem to be interested in crawling up your tail pipe with a magnifier every time your outside, or entertaining guests. This park, from a tenants point of view, is where you want to live if your laid back and low maintenance. If your interested in the latest gossip, talking about every neighbor who says hello, or living like a pig. This is not the park for you!
Nov 09, 2017 · Amanda. RomeraThis place is definitely beautiful, I decided to stay in California for a while, and this place is the closest thing to home, quiet, full of nature and not noisy at all. Definitely if you are looking for a place to stay for a long time, this is it! It has full hookup and monthly. The manager of the site is super friendly and cordial
Jun 06, 2023 · Rosana EljadueBy far the worst RV park we have ever stayed at. Would have given a no star rating but 1 was the lowest. Very rude neighbor who couldn't stand the sound of kids. He slept in the day time and worked very early in the morning. One peep after quiet time (8pm) and he'd come pounding on the door harassing us to shut the hell up. Management did nothing because he's a full timer and they didn't want to make waves. Families steer clear of this ghost town. Quiet time is between 8pm and 10am. Did I mention we got scolded for BBQing, the neighbor didn't want to smell our steak and chicken so we had to stop in the middle of cooking. Never again!
Jun 06, 2017 · A Ki got there at five and it all seemed so beautiful, boy looks can be deceiving. Don't get me wrong I love the way the park is set up, the problem is the lies that they use to get people to rent from them. 1. The amenities say "Showers," we got there late so we didn't go look for the showers until the next day. While doing laundry in a laundry room with no heat, I found the shower in the same building also have no heat. It was warmer outside than it was in the bathroom and laundry room. Then you have to pay $1.25 for 12 minutes of shower time. I believe that unheated showers that you have to pay for should be listed in the information about the park. 2. The internet is horribly slow and looses signal every five minutes. 3. we decided to leave the park early because i needed a shower that would not cause my husband who has COPD to get sick, and they refused to give me any of the remaining days money back. Seriously, they lied about the park amenities and refuse to give me my money. I will never go to this place again.Don't go there unless you want to spend all your money on a shower with no heat.
Jan 03, 2016 · Sharmin RodriguezWe were thinking of parking and living in our RV there for a while as we saved up for a house. We dealt with the manager "Janet"Nothing but problems from there. She lost our application, she gave us false information about the site we were interested in, she was EXTREMELY RUDE over the phone. She acts like she must be on drugs. She forgot all about us even though we talked for about an hour in person when we filled out our application. They really need a change of management. If not for the management, the place may not be a bad place to stay for a short while. I urge anyone considering this place to talk to management a FEW times to see how they really are. Not professional in any way.I have ALOT more I could say but I think you all will get the idea.Have a great day!
