Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For local users in the Del Valle, Texas area who may be considering long-term living options and searching within the platform category of "RV parks near me" as a potential avenue to explore housing communities, Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community presents itself as a 55+ residential development. Located at 5717 Paseo Nuevo Cir, Del Valle, TX 78617, USA, the community can be contacted by phone at (512) 764-9125 or their mobile number +1 512-764-9125. While primarily a manufactured home community designed for long-term residency for individuals aged 55 and over, it's relevant to the "RV parks near me" category as some individuals exploring long-term housing solutions might consider the lifestyle offered by such communities as an alternative to traditional RV parks, especially if they are seeking a more permanent or community-oriented setting.
One positive review indicates that Oak Ranch Reserve 55+ is a "great place to have a home at" and suggests that "the community has a lot to offer." This reviewer explicitly recommends checking the community's website for more detailed information. This highlights the importance of seeking out the official website of Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community to gain a comprehensive understanding of its amenities, facilities, and the lifestyle it offers to its residents.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced view, and another, more detailed review from someone claiming to have lived in the community for a couple of years expresses significant concerns regarding the property management. This resident states their experience has been "less than satisfactory" due to what they perceive as "unequal treatment and favoritism" displayed by the property manager. The reviewer alleges that the manager tends to "harass individuals based on personal preference" while overlooking violations committed by other residents. This paints a picture of a potentially inconsistent and unfair living environment, which could be a significant concern for prospective residents.
The reviewer further elaborates on the negative impact of this perceived favoritism, stating that it "creates a negative living environment" and "undermines the integrity of the property rules and policies that are in place." This suggests a potential lack of consistent enforcement of community guidelines, which can lead to dissatisfaction and a breakdown of community cohesion. The principle of fair and equitable treatment is emphasized by the reviewer as crucial for fostering a positive sense of community and ensuring that all residents adhere to the same standards.
While this negative review focuses on issues with property management, it does not provide specific details about the physical environment, services, or features of the Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community itself. Therefore, it is important to consider this feedback as a potential area of concern while also recognizing that it represents one individual's experience. Prospective residents should seek further information and potentially speak with current residents to gain a broader perspective on the community's atmosphere and management practices.
Given that Oak Ranch is a "Manufactured Home Community" designed for residents aged 55 and over, the environment is likely structured to cater to the needs and preferences of this demographic. This might include a quieter, more relaxed pace of life compared to communities with a broader age range. The physical layout would likely consist of individual lots designed for manufactured homes, with common areas and amenities intended for the residents' use and enjoyment. These could include green spaces, walking paths, a clubhouse, recreational facilities (such as a swimming pool, fitness center, or game rooms), and organized social activities.
The services offered in a manufactured home community typically include basic infrastructure such as paved roads, utility connections (water, sewer, electricity), and trash removal. Depending on the community, there might also be on-site management offices, maintenance services for common areas, and possibly security features. As the positive review recommends checking the website for more details, this would be the primary source for information on the specific services and amenities available at Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community.
The features of a manufactured home community differ significantly from those of an RV park. Residents typically own or lease their individual manufactured homes and pay a monthly lot rent that covers the use of the community's infrastructure and amenities. The homes themselves are more permanent structures than RVs, offering a more traditional residential living experience. The lots may be landscaped and offer space for parking personal vehicles and potentially small yards or patios.
As the provided information does not include any specific promotional offers for Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community, local users would need to consult their website or contact them directly to inquire about current incentives, lot rental rates, or any special programs they might be offering to new residents. It is common for manufactured home communities to have specific pricing structures based on lot size, location within the community, and the type of home.
For individuals in the Del Valle area searching for "RV parks near me" who might be open to considering a long-term, community-oriented living situation, particularly if they are aged 55 or older, Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community presents a potential option. However, it is crucial to weigh the positive mention of community offerings against the serious concerns raised about property management. Thorough due diligence, including visiting the community, speaking with current residents (if possible), and carefully reviewing the community's rules and policies, would be essential before making a decision.
In conclusion, Oak Ranch - Manufactured Home Community in Del Valle, TX, is a 55+ manufactured home community that reportedly offers a variety of amenities and a community-focused lifestyle. However, potential residents should be aware of the significant concerns raised by one reviewer regarding unequal treatment and favoritism by the property manager. It is strongly recommended to visit their website, contact them directly at the provided phone numbers, and seek out additional perspectives from current residents to form a well-rounded understanding of the environment, services, features, and overall living experience at Oak Ranch before making any long-term commitments. While not a traditional RV park, its long-term residential nature might appeal to some users exploring options within the broader context of housing for recreational vehicle owners or those seeking a community setting.

Apr 08, 2025 · Roger LauderdaleHaving lived here for a couple of years, I regret to say that my experience has been less than satisfactory due to what I perceive to be unequal treatment and favoritism displayed by our property manager. It has become apparent to me that the manager is inclined to harass individuals based on personal preference, while turning a blind eye to violations committed by other residents. This not only creates a negative living environment but also undermines the integrity of the property rules and policies that are in place. While I fully acknowledge the necessity of rules and policies for the smooth functioning of our community, I believe that they should be consistently enforced for all residents, without any bias or exceptions. Fair and equitable treatment is crucial in fostering a sense of community and ensuring that everyone abides by the same standards.
Oct 23, 2024 · Veronica SantosOak Ranch became my home 2 yearsAgo. I have friend that are neighborsAnd enjoy the clubhouse and all theActivities to join and we have a good time. YES, I enjoy living here and this will be my last home. The Oak Ranch employee are THE BEST and work veryHard.
Jun 29, 2023 · Gloria MusatovI moved here with excitement almost 3 years ago. It has been the worst purchase I have made. The home was already 2 years old when I bought it. They didn't bother to tell me that. They threw in a carport to entice me to buy. A carport falling down. See photos. There were many problems they were very slow to fix, some not fixed at all, and others caused more harm. They are quick to say we need to correct things when they drag their feet about their own responsibilities. If you don't want to fight with management constantly, please don't buy here! The people who live here are great and do not deserve this kind of treatment.
Jun 12, 2019 · Kathi FaithI have lived here for two and a half years without a complaint or complaining about anything. Today Amazon delivered my computer to the wrong house. I called management to ask if they would send out a text to residents asking if they got the delivery and to bring it to the office. The manager said they couldn’t do that. They send messages out all the time yet they refuse to help me. Shame on the manager. I have had several wrong deliveries to my house and always returned them to the owners. Now I will think twice about doing that. Maybe management will do something if more orders are lost and people start complaining about thieves in their community!
