Tejas Mobile Plaza Introduce
Tejas Mobile Plaza, situated at 1709 E Hwy 71 #50 in Austin, TX 78742, USA, is a mobile home park located in a potentially busy area due to its proximity to a major highway. For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category in Austin, it is important to note that Tejas Mobile Plaza is primarily a mobile home park. While some mobile home parks may occasionally accommodate RVs, it is crucial to directly contact Tejas Mobile Plaza to inquire about their policies on RV stays, availability, and any specific services or amenities offered to RV travelers. Understanding the environment and community aspects based on available reviews can help inform any decision, even if considering it as a potential RV location.
The environment surrounding Tejas Mobile Plaza is significantly influenced by its location along East Highway 71 in Austin. One reviewer explicitly mentions that the park is loud due to the highway noise, which could be a significant factor for those sensitive to traffic sounds. This noise pollution might detract from the peacefulness that some RV travelers or long-term residents seek. Additionally, the same reviewer described the physical condition of some of the mobile homes within the park as being in disrepair, stating surprise that they were still standing. This observation suggests that the overall aesthetic and maintenance level of the park may be a concern for some.
In terms of services and features, the limited customer reviews do not provide extensive details about the park's amenities. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer connections for their residents. However, whether these services are also available or suitable for RVs would require direct confirmation from the park management. The reviews do not mention common RV park amenities like laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or recreational areas. Therefore, potential RV visitors should not assume these are available without specific inquiry.
One review raises concerns about pet policies within Tejas Mobile Plaza, stating that pets are "seldom leashed." This lack of adherence to leash rules could be a concern for individuals traveling with their own pets or those who prefer a more controlled pet environment. It might also indicate a more relaxed or less strictly enforced set of community rules in general. Another significant issue highlighted is the availability of visitor parking. According to a reviewer, residents planning to visit people within the park often find that there is "seldom any room for visitors to park." This lack of visitor parking could be inconvenient for both potential long-term residents who expect to have guests and for any short-term RV visitors.
The initial experience of one potential resident attempting to contact Tejas Mobile Plaza was also negative. They reported calling and leaving a message to inquire about space but never receiving a call back. This lack of communication could indicate issues with the park's responsiveness to inquiries, which might be a concern for prospective residents or RVers seeking information or assistance. The subsequent in-person visit by the same individual resulted in a negative impression due to the park's physical appearance and the noise level, leading them to advise others to "do yourself a favor and find somewhere else."
Given the limited and largely negative feedback from these reviews, it is difficult to ascertain any positive aspects or promotional information about Tejas Mobile Plaza. The comments primarily focus on the park's drawbacks, such as noise, apparent disrepair, potential issues with pet control, lack of visitor parking, and poor initial communication. These factors suggest that prospective residents or RV visitors should approach Tejas Mobile Plaza with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before making any commitments.
To obtain accurate and up-to-date information about Tejas Mobile Plaza, including any potential RV accommodations, amenities, rules, and rates, it is crucial to contact the park directly at (512) 385-5107 or +1 512-385-5107. Inquiring about the current state of the park, noise levels, pet policies, visitor parking availability, and the process for inquiries would be essential. Potential visitors should also ask about any long-term residency options for mobile homes and whether short-term RV stays are permitted and under what conditions.
In conclusion, the available information regarding Tejas Mobile Plaza in Austin, TX, paints a concerning picture for both potential mobile home residents and those searching for "RV parks near me." The reviews highlight issues such as significant highway noise, apparent disrepair of some mobile homes, lax pet leash enforcement, limited visitor parking, and poor initial communication. While the park's location on East Highway 71 might offer some convenience in terms of access to the city, the negative feedback regarding the living environment and management responsiveness should be carefully considered. Direct contact with Tejas Mobile Plaza is strongly recommended to obtain current and detailed information and to personally assess whether the park meets individual needs and expectations. Given the concerns raised, exploring alternative options in the Georgetown area may be advisable.

Tejas Mobile Plaza Reviews
Was eyeing up this place to move to so I called and left a message to see if they had space but they never called back. When I went to go visit the place, it was scary. There were some mobile homes that I was surprised to see still standing. Also it was loud too because of the highway noise. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.
Aug 11, 2019 · Christina CulbertsonPets are seldom leashed. And the people who are you planning to go see seldom have any room for visitors to park.
Jul 31, 2018 · melissa goodmanPoor neighborhood, sadly being pushed out by newer commercial construction. Its a cramped trailer park, hard to get to because of freeway overpasses.
