Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, it's important to carefully evaluate the available options based on various factors, including environment, services, and overall living conditions. Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 715 County Rd 329, Freeport, TX 77541, USA, has received concerning feedback from its customers, which potential visitors and residents should consider. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on the information available in online reviews, highlighting both potential positives and significant negatives.
When local users look for "RV parks near me," they expect a certain level of cleanliness, functionality, and safety. Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park, based on recent reviews, appears to fall significantly short of these expectations for some visitors. While one initial review mentions a "good price" and the inclusion of paid electricity, as well as a washer/dryer house, subsequent feedback raises serious concerns about the living conditions, environmental factors, and the functionality of basic amenities. It is crucial for anyone considering this location, whether for a short RV stay or longer-term mobile home residency, to be aware of these reported issues.
The environment of Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park is described in starkly contrasting terms. While the initial brief review doesn't detail the surroundings beyond the presence of "lotta cats" and "skeeters," a subsequent, more extensive review paints a dire picture. This review describes "Dirty Nasty living conditions" with "Major sewer problems" leading to a situation where one must wear "mud boots" just to walk outside. The presence of "Raw sewage" causing illness is an extremely serious environmental concern. Furthermore, the park's reported location in an "actual flood plain" (not just a 500-year flood plain) poses significant risks, especially during periods of heavy rain. The presence of numerous "disease cats dragging food from dumpsters" also indicates potential sanitation issues within the park. These descriptions suggest a severely compromised living environment that could pose health risks to visitors and residents.
The services and amenities at Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park also receive negative feedback in the more detailed review. While an initial positive note mentions a "washer dryer house," the later review contradicts this, stating that the washers "don't work" and merely take quarters because "half are broke." This indicates a significant discrepancy in the functionality of a basic and often essential amenity. The lack of Wi-Fi is also mentioned as a drawback. The reported "water and electricity issues" are severe enough that the reviewer suggests they would constitute numerous violations for code enforcement. The inability to locate the office and a non-working listed phone number further raise concerns about the accessibility and responsiveness of the park management. The vague promise of mailing a deposit to a home address, coupled with the other issues, does not inspire confidence in transparent and reliable service.
The features of Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park, based on the problematic review, are largely negative. The presence of a stocked pond or other recreational features is not mentioned, overshadowed by the severe sanitation and infrastructure issues. The abundance of cats, initially mentioned neutrally, is later framed as a potential health hazard due to them frequenting dumpsters. The park's location in a flood plain is a critical negative feature that could have serious implications for safety and property. The malfunctioning laundry facilities and the lack of Wi-Fi detract from the basic conveniences expected at an RV or mobile home park. The reported water and electricity issues suggest potential unreliability of essential utilities. The difficulty in contacting the management and the uncertainty surrounding the office location are also significant negative features that could lead to frustration and a lack of support for residents and visitors.
There is no promotional information available for Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park in the provided reviews. Given the serious negative feedback regarding the living conditions and infrastructure, potential local users should exercise extreme caution and prioritize verifying the current state of the park before considering a stay or residency. Contacting the listed phone number appears to be problematic, so alternative methods of inquiry or perhaps checking online forums or local community groups for more recent information might be necessary. Due to the severity of the reported issues, any potential "good price" mentioned in an outdated review should be weighed against the significant health and safety risks described in the more recent and detailed feedback.
In conclusion, Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park in Freeport, TX, as portrayed by recent customer reviews, presents significant concerns regarding its environment, services, and overall living conditions. Reports of major sewer problems, raw sewage, location in a flood plain, non-functional amenities, and potential utility issues should give any local users searching for "RV parks near me" serious pause. While an older review mentions a good price and paid electricity, this should be considered in light of the severe problems described in more recent feedback. It is strongly recommended that potential visitors or residents seek substantial and verifiable information about the current state of the park and its management before making any decisions. The reported conditions suggest that this location may not provide a healthy or safe living environment.

Oasis Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
Lotta cats. Skeeters too. Good price— electric paid. Also have washer dryer houseEDIT:Found out they’re located in a flood plain. Not 500 year, but actual flood plain. Not sure where the office is supposed to be located and the number listed doesn’t work anymore. They will “mail the deposit to my home address”.
May 15, 2019 · Anonymous Member of Society (AMOS)Absolutely the worst vacation because of the Dirty Nasty living conditions. Major sewer problems, must have mud boots on just to walk out your front door. Raw sewage made us very ill, and the only thing we brought back was the horrible smell that is on everything that we can't get rid of. For $$600. A month go to a place that the washer s work,..and not just take your quarter s cause the the half are broke. Lots of disease cats dragging food from dumpsters. No wifi...code enforcement would have a so many violations for the water and electricity issues alone..Don't waste your money or time at this nasty place.
Feb 08, 2019 · Susan TeelGround is unlevel calichi. Lots of cats in dumpster. When it rains it gets muddy and water pool are made. Lots of spiders. Not ideal for small children. It's quite, dark, no internet, cramped lots. Forget about your deposit owner won't return calls for those matters. That's want cheap rent gets you.
