Pair of Dice RV Park Introduce
If you're looking for "RV parks near me" in the vicinity of Paradise, Texas, Pair of Dice RV Park, located at 7019 S FM 51, Paradise, TX 76073, USA, presents itself as a potential option. You can reach them at (214) 926-7233 or their mobile number, +1 214-926-7233, for inquiries. Based on the available customer reviews, Pair of Dice RV Park has both positive and negative aspects that local users should consider when making their decision.
One reviewer indicates a positive long-term experience, stating, "We live there and we like it." This suggests that Pair of Dice RV Park may foster a sense of community and be a suitable option for extended stays or even permanent living. The same reviewer specifically praises the Camp Host, Shirley, describing her as "super." A friendly and helpful host can significantly enhance the overall experience of living or staying at an RV park, providing assistance and contributing to a positive atmosphere.
However, this reviewer also points out a significant area for improvement regarding park maintenance, noting, "I just wished they would mow more often. All weeds!" This suggests that the upkeep of the grounds, specifically lawn care, may be lacking. Overgrown weeds can detract from the aesthetic appeal of the park and potentially impact the comfort of outdoor spaces.
Another reviewer provides a more detailed account of their experience, highlighting both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, they also commend the host, describing her as "wonderful! So sweet and accommodating." This reinforces the positive feedback regarding the camp host's helpfulness and demeanor. Additionally, this reviewer mentions that "Shade trees are nice" and that "the laundry facility is also a nice feature to have." Shade trees are a valuable asset in the Texas heat, providing comfort and relief, while an onsite laundry facility adds significant convenience for travelers and long-term residents alike.
On the negative side, this reviewer raises concerns about the advertised Wi-Fi service, stating, "They advertise wifi, your lucky if you get your phone to work muchless watch a movie." This indicates a potentially unreliable or inadequate internet connection, which can be a significant drawback for those who rely on Wi-Fi for work, communication, or entertainment during their RV stay.
Furthermore, the same reviewer expresses considerable dissatisfaction with noise levels, attributing it to the behavior of children residing nearby. They report, "The neighbors we have have NO control over their children. Running screaming in the camper so loud we have to keep our fans on so we don’t hear them. Can’t enjoy bbqing outside since they’re screaming most of the time." This paints a picture of a potentially disruptive environment due to uncontrolled noise, which can significantly impact the peace and quiet that many RV park guests seek.
The host's attempt to address the noise issue by offering a change of location is noted: "She did offer us to move spots." While this demonstrates the host's willingness to accommodate guests, the reviewer's exhaustion from a demanding work schedule prevented them from taking advantage of the offer. This suggests that while the host is helpful, the underlying issue of noise may persist in certain areas of the park.
Finally, this reviewer offers a piece of advice to potential guests: "Just ask about who your parking next too before you back in." This suggests that the proximity to certain neighbors, particularly those with noisy children, can significantly affect the quality of the stay. It implies that the park's layout or neighborly relations might be a factor to consider when choosing a site.
Based on these reviews, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should be aware of the following potential pros and cons of Pair of Dice RV Park:
- Pros:
- A "super," "sweet," and "accommodating" camp host who is praised by multiple reviewers.
- The presence of nice shade trees, offering relief from the sun.
- The convenience of an onsite laundry facility.
- A sense of community that appeals to long-term residents.
- Cons:
- Potentially inadequate or unreliable Wi-Fi service that may not even support basic phone use, let alone streaming.
- Issues with park maintenance, specifically infrequent mowing leading to overgrown weeds.
- Potential for significant noise disturbances from uncontrolled children residing nearby.
- The need to inquire about neighboring residents before choosing a site to mitigate potential noise issues.
Given these points, local users considering Pair of Dice RV Park should weigh the importance of a friendly host, shade, and laundry facilities against potential drawbacks such as poor Wi-Fi, maintenance issues, and noise. If a strong internet connection and a quiet outdoor environment are high priorities, Pair of Dice RV Park might not be the ideal choice based on the experiences shared by these reviewers.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding and address the concerns raised in the reviews, it would be beneficial to contact Pair of Dice RV Park directly at (214) 926-7233 or +1 214-926-7233 and inquire about:
- The current state of park maintenance, including the frequency of mowing and weed control.
- The reliability and speed of the Wi-Fi service available to guests.
- Any policies or measures in place to manage noise levels within the park.
- The layout of the park and the proximity of sites to long-term residents with children.
- Other amenities and services offered, such as restroom and shower facilities, recreational areas, or hookup availability.
- Current rates and availability for RV sites.
By directly communicating with the park management, local users can obtain the most up-to-date information and assess whether the positive aspects outweigh the potential negatives based on their individual needs and preferences when searching for "RV parks near me" in the Paradise, Texas area.
In conclusion, Pair of Dice RV Park offers the potential for a community-oriented stay with a well-regarded camp host, nice shade, and laundry facilities. However, prospective guests should be aware of reported issues with Wi-Fi, park maintenance, and noise from neighboring children. It is recommended to contact the park directly to inquire about these concerns and gather more information before making a decision.

We live there and we like it. The Camp Host Shirley is super. I just wished they would mow more often. All weeds!

Nov 10, 2023 · Tawny BryantI give this park one star because one there was way too many rocks driving through there Shirley could have a little bit better personality with people and three Steven won't allow anybody to have a window unit in their window on their RV so they can stay cool on hot summer days and we just didn't feel like we were welcome there with open arms we just recently moved out so I thought I'd leave a comment about how I truly felt about the park this is how I feel my opinion somebody else may have a different opinion but this is how I feel
Jul 14, 2024 · Travis DavidsonIt’s a smaller park with a unique layout, as it’s set into the side of a hill that sets it back from the road down into the trees. Even though it’s on a hill, all the sites were level, with gravel pads and concrete patios, and well-spaced where you didn’t feel packed in like sardines, but you could choose to park close if you were in a group. They had sites for all types of rigs, big and small (we’re big). There’s a pasture in the back where the neighbor’s horses graze, and a large grassy area in front of that for dogs of the park to go as well, all adding to the country feel along with the well chosen small touches evident around the park’s facilities. Terry, one of the owners, was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay, and the other owner Steve was responsive to a minor issue we had at the time. Being a newer park, there was still some work going on to add more sites (laying gravel, electrical, drainage work towards the sites in the back of the park) and make improvements (masonry retaining walls added around the end of a couple rows), but nothing that was disruptive to daily living when it was underway. The whole park is well kept and has new/clean facilities (bathroom/showers and laundry room). The washers/dryers are operated/paid for through an app called Pay Range, so you don’t have to worry about getting quarters, so that was nice. It’s close enough to everything that you would need to get to in the area. At the time we stayed, the rate was very reasonable compared to other places around. But that was a “move in special” at the time, so not sure how much longer they will be offering that rate. I expect this place will fill up, but hope to stay again if we’re ever back in the area.
