Park Meadows Mobile Home Community Introduce
If you're searching within the "rv parks near me" category for a longer-term living situation in the Muskegon, Michigan area, Park Meadows Mobile Home Community is a mobile home park that may appear in your results. While primarily a mobile home park, these communities sometimes accommodate RVs for extended periods, offering a different style of long-term living. Based on the limited customer reviews available, there are starkly contrasting opinions about living at Park Meadows. Let's take an objective look at what can be inferred about its environment, services, and features to help you decide if it aligns with your needs when looking at "rv parks near me" for extended stays.
Regarding the environment, one reviewer describes Park Meadows as a "beautiful and peaceful community with very nice mobile homes," suggesting an aesthetically pleasing and tranquil setting. They also note it's a "great place to raise a family!" and highlights its proximity to a Meijer and many restaurants, indicating convenient access to local amenities. This paints a positive picture of the community's environment and its location. However, the second reviewer's experience sharply contrasts this, using terms like "crappy community." They don't directly describe the physical environment in detail, but their overall negative tone implies dissatisfaction with more than just the financial aspects.
In terms of services and management, the two reviews offer very different perspectives. The positive review implicitly praises the overall management by describing a desirable community. In contrast, the negative review raises significant concerns. This reviewer points out that residents "have to pay for your well water," which could be an unexpected expense compared to communities with included water services. They also state that "prices keep going up" without any corresponding improvements in community services. A major complaint is the lack of adequate winter maintenance, specifically mentioning "sheets of ice on roads" and the dangers posed by melting slush refreezing at night, which they feel the management does nothing to address. Furthermore, this reviewer recounts the theft of two vehicles from their driveway, directly contradicting any claims of safety or effective neighborhood watch programs. They explicitly state, "They claim it to be safe place to live and that they have neighborhood watches watching out for the community. Lies!!!!" This strongly suggests a perceived failure in providing a safe and well-maintained living environment.
The features of Park Meadows, as can be gleaned from these limited reviews, present a mixed bag:
- Potentially Beautiful and Peaceful: One reviewer found it so.
- Nice Mobile Homes: Also mentioned by the positive reviewer.
- Family-Friendly (Allegedly): Described as a "great place to raise a family."
- Convenient Location: Close to a Meijer and many restaurants.
- Payment for Well Water: An additional cost for residents.
- Rising Prices Without Service Improvements: A point of contention for one reviewer.
- Inadequate Winter Road Maintenance: Complaints about icy and slushy roads not being properly addressed.
- Security Concerns: At least two vehicle thefts reported, contradicting claims of safety and neighborhood watch effectiveness.
- Rising Cost of Living: One resident claims their cost of living has tripled since moving there.
From a promotional perspective for local users searching "rv parks near me" for a longer-term stay, Park Meadows could potentially highlight its "beautiful and peaceful" atmosphere, the presence of "very nice mobile homes," its suitability for families, and its convenient location near shopping and dining. These aspects, mentioned in the positive review, could attract individuals looking for a well-located and seemingly pleasant community. However, any promotional effort would need to acknowledge and address the serious concerns raised in the negative review regarding the cost of water, rising prices without service improvements, inadequate winter maintenance, and, most importantly, the significant security issues reported. Transparency about these aspects is crucial for potential residents to make an informed decision.
For local users in the "rv parks near me" category considering Park Meadows for an extended stay, the contrasting reviews present a dilemma. If you prioritize a seemingly attractive environment and convenient location, the positive review might be appealing. However, the negative review paints a picture of increasing costs for water and lot rent without perceived improvements, poor winter road maintenance, and serious security concerns, including vehicle theft. These are significant factors that could severely impact the quality of life for long-term residents, including those in RVs.
Given the starkly different experiences reported, anyone considering Park Meadows as part of their "rv parks near me" search for long-term living should exercise significant caution. It is strongly recommended to contact the management directly at (231) 744-1300 or +1 231-744-1300 to seek their response to the issues raised in the negative review, particularly regarding water costs, price increases, winter maintenance, and security measures. Visiting the community in person to assess the environment and, if possible, speak with current residents could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the living conditions at Park Meadows. The claim of a tripling cost of living is also a serious financial consideration that would warrant thorough investigation.
In conclusion, Park Meadows Mobile Home Community in Muskegon, MI, offers the potential for a "beautiful and peaceful" living environment in a convenient location, according to one review. However, another resident reports significant issues with increasing costs, lack of adequate maintenance, and serious security concerns. For those in the "rv parks near me" category seeking a long-term stay, a thorough investigation of these conflicting reports and direct communication with the park management are crucial before making any decisions about residing at Park Meadows.

Park Meadows Mobile Home Community Reviews
Beautiful and peaceful community with very nice mobile homes. Great place to raise a family! Close to a Meijer and many restaurants.
May 03, 2025 · Amy Marie AndersonWouldn't even give it 1 star to be honest. You have to pay for your well water, prices keep going up, but they do nothing for the community like plowing in the winter sheets of ice on roads and when it melts during the day and slush splashes everywhere and then at night it freezes for cars that's not a good thing for the slush to run along the bottom of your car as well as 2 of my vehicles have been stolen right out of my driveway. They claim it to be safe place to live and that they have neighborhood watches watching out for the community. Lies!!!! My cost of living has tripled since moving to this crappy community!!!
Feb 01, 2025 · RACHEL PREIHSSeemed nice & quiet. Visiting a friend
May 04, 2025 · Roxann UrchThe new owners have completely ruined the community, your not allowed to have anything in your yard, if you have Kids you better not let them play with toys outside as you will get a "violation". They definitely have favorite renters that they allow to do pretty much whatever they want. They do a horrible job plowing in the winter. The park used to be a fun place to live and now it's just hell. They raise the rent every month too for whatever reason. If you want a relaxing place to live this is definitely not the park for you.
Dec 27, 2022 · Brandon KrieselWhat happened to the management? No one is ever in the office and people cannot get a return phone call. I'm not going to add a photo because ever since we had to pay our own water, even in some area's on the lawn coming from the entrance into the office is burnt. I still water my lawn and flowers. I just don't see the pride that people living in the park once had.
