Perryville RV Resort by Rjourney, located at 300 Lake Dr, Perryville, MO 63775, USA, offers a convenient camping option for those exploring Perryville and the surrounding areas. Situated close to Interstate 55, this RV park provides easy access for travelers. For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Perryville RV Resort presents itself as a potentially suitable choice, particularly for those visiting local landmarks or seeking a family-friendly campground with amenities.
Based on the available customer reviews, the environment of Perryville RV Resort appears to have both positive and negative aspects. One reviewer noted its convenient proximity to the Veterans Memorial and the Vietnam Sister Wall, making it an ideal base for visiting these significant local attractions. The same reviewer also described the individual sites as quite level, which is a significant advantage for RV owners as it simplifies the setup process and contributes to a more comfortable stay. The presence of a nice pool is also highlighted, suggesting a family-friendly environment where children can enjoy recreational activities.
However, another reviewer shared a less positive experience, particularly concerning the behavior of some long-term residents during the off-season in November. This review mentioned issues with pet waste not being properly cleaned up by some individuals, leading to unpleasant conditions at the reviewer's campsite. This suggests a potential inconsistency in maintaining cleanliness and respecting fellow campers, at least during the time of this particular reviewer's stay. It's important for prospective visitors to be aware of this feedback alongside the positive comments about the host and site levelness.
In terms of services and features, the reviews provide some insights. The presence of a pleasant host suggests good customer service and a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. The level campsites indicate attention to the practical needs of RV travelers. The mention of a nice pool points to a recreational amenity that can enhance the stay, especially for families. While not explicitly stated, it is reasonable to assume that the RV park offers standard hookups for water, electricity, and sewer at each site, which are essential for RV camping. The proximity to I-55, while convenient for travel, also means that some highway noise from tractor-trailers may be noticeable, although one reviewer mentioned it was not excessive enough to disrupt relaxation or sleep.
The positive review recommends Perryville RV Resort for those visiting Perryville, emphasizing its location and the quality of the host and sites. This suggests that for tourists and those passing through, the resort offers a comfortable and well-located option. The negative review, however, raises concerns about the consideration shown by some long-term residents, particularly regarding pet etiquette. This highlights the importance of clear park rules and consistent enforcement to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, regardless of their length of stay.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Perryville, MO, Perryville RV Resort by Rjourney offers a location with easy access to both the interstate and local attractions. The presence of a pool makes it appealing to families. The generally level sites are a practical benefit for RVers. However, potential guests should be mindful of the feedback regarding noise from I-55 and the reported issues with pet waste during the off-season.

Perryville RV Resort by Rjourney Reviews
Nice Campground close to I55 and the Veterans Memorial and Vietnam Sister Wall which is why we stayed there. The Host was very pleasant and the Site was quite level so there wasn't much needed to accommodate the RV with respect to make it comfortable for the stay. It has a nice pool so if You have a Family a Great place to stay for the Kiddos.. some highway noise from the Tractor Trailers but not excessive so it doesn't affect relaxing by the fire or sleeping etc. I recommend this site if Your visiting Perryville
Dec 01, 2024 · Ray St. AmourFirst time here. In the office season of November. My family has vampers that stay there year round. The check in was easy and painless. The locals that stay there are ridiculous. We have a small 10 pound dog that we clean up after every bathroom break. I cleaned up dog poop from our site when we got there. Then drive through it in our campsite with our truck again on the first night. The second night upon leaving or dog out there was large dog crap at our site again. Which I had to clean our shoes and rugs. We stayed in b3 up towards the front. People seem to not care about others enjoyment or privacy on their campsite
Nov 10, 2024 · Huber Contracting Co.Beware!!!! Sorry to all. I didn't realize that the good service is only covered during normal seasonal operation. Since Nov 1st, there is no permanent onsite staff. Hours of operation are limited to a few hours a day, like 12-3. The upper management refuses to hire enough people to maintain the campground properly. People got stranded in their campers from the last ice storm and roads were not maintained. Even police could not respond to calls due to road conditions. The upper management keeps tacking new charges every other month that no one agrees to or has notice of. If you don't pay you get booted. It took two weeks to get a tree crew in before falling branches and trees stopped causing damage . Power lines were draped across the road for two weeks. They will charge you for electric and water even if you haven't been there for a month. They claim it's a month to month contract and then you get an outrageous all in one bill for an entire period. They don't except checks and will charge 3.5% of your bill to use a credit card. By the time it's all said and done a small camper pays about $700/month on the low side to stay in a campground with no security or full-time personnel, at least one washer is always down, and you never know what your bill is going to be from month to month. When you try to leave if you don't give at least 30 day notice exactly, they go after you for the cost of another entire month to include water and electric.Update: I have been gone for two months and they are still trying to charge me for the current camper's utilities!!!
Apr 24, 2025 · Elizabeth BarttelbortWe have been here before. We like it a lot. We didn't care for the fact that in winter the office closes early. We had to call in the registration. The gentleman was very helpful. We never met with whom ever was in charge.
Dec 19, 2024 · Lisse WendtWe have always loved our time at this resort. The staff are always friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The location is perfect for a little getaway as it’s conveniently located right off the highway and near food, stores, and gas stations.I would say our one and only complaint is that over the years the camping spaces appear to grow smaller and smaller. In the last ten years of coming here we’ve been able to enjoy being outside with our picnic table and fire pit. This previous experience however, we had next to no room to do this. My children love roasting marshmallows and making s’mores but out of safety we could do this. Our fire pit as we were so close to our camper and the neighboring camper.Again this is our only complaint. The staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed!
