Poinsettia Senior & Family Mobilehome Parks distinguishes itself by welcoming both senior and family residents, creating a potentially diverse and intergenerational community. This dual focus could appeal to a wide range of individuals seeking a long-term living situation within a mobile home park setting. For those exploring "RV parks near me" who are open to residing in a community with a mix of age groups, Poinsettia might be a suitable option, provided they accommodate RVs for long-term stays.
Customer reviews offer a mixed perspective on the park. One resident of six years provides a glowing testimonial, describing it as a "great place to live!" They highlight the "nice, quiet area with friendly people," suggesting a peaceful and welcoming community atmosphere. This long-term resident also praises the park's maintenance, stating that it is "well maintained," and commends the office staff for their responsiveness, noting that "if there is a problem with anything, the office responds quickly." This positive review strongly recommends the park, indicating a high level of satisfaction with the living experience.
However, another reviewer presents a more critical viewpoint. They express dissatisfaction with the office staff, describing them as "not very friendly or helpful at all" and alleging that "all they want is your money." This starkly contrasts with the positive experience of the long-term resident. The critical reviewer also raises concerns about the consistent enforcement of park rules, stating that "some of the rules of the park dont apply to all." They provide a specific example regarding yard maintenance, noting that some yards had "2 ft weeds growing" while they received a notice for having "a few" weeds. This suggests potential inconsistencies in rule enforcement and a perceived lack of fairness, raising questions about the management's attention to detail and equitable treatment of residents.
The contrasting nature of these reviews underscores the importance for prospective residents exploring "RV parks near me" to conduct thorough due diligence. For those considering bringing an RV for a long-term stay, it is crucial to inquire specifically about the park's policies regarding RVs, including the availability of suitable lots, hookups (water, electricity, sewage), and any restrictions on the age or type of RV allowed. Understanding the costs associated with RV stays, including monthly fees and utility charges, is also essential.
Given the conflicting feedback regarding the office staff and rule enforcement, it would be prudent for potential residents to interact with the management directly and observe their responsiveness and communication style. Asking specific questions about the park's rules, maintenance procedures, and how resident concerns are addressed can provide valuable insights into the management's practices. If possible, speaking with current residents (while respecting their privacy) could offer a more comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day living experience and the prevailing community dynamics.
The long-term resident's positive comments about the well-maintained park suggest that, despite the concerns raised by the other reviewer, there is a commitment to the upkeep of the community. However, the specific example of inconsistent yard maintenance highlights a potential area for improvement in ensuring consistent application of park rules. For those seeking "RV parks near me" where a clean and orderly environment is a priority, it would be beneficial to inquire about the park's maintenance schedule and standards.
The mention of a "nice, quiet area" by the satisfied resident suggests that the location in Poway offers a peaceful living environment, which can be a significant draw for many. Poway is known for its suburban feel and access to outdoor recreation. The combination of a potentially quiet setting and a community that welcomes both seniors and families could create a unique living dynamic.
For individuals exploring Poinsettia Senior & Family Mobilehome Parks as a potential long-term residence, whether in a mobile home or an RV (if permitted), it is essential to weigh the positive aspects highlighted by the long-term resident against the concerns raised by the other reviewer. The experience of living in a community can be subjective and influenced by various factors, including individual expectations and interactions with management and neighbors.
In conclusion, Poinsettia Senior & Family Mobilehome Parks in Poway, CA, offers a community that caters to a diverse age range, potentially fostering a rich living environment. While one long-term resident praises its quiet atmosphere, friendly people, well-maintained grounds, and responsive management, another reviewer expresses concerns about inconsistent rule enforcement and the demeanor of the office staff. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living here, it is crucial to contact the management at (858) 748-4570 or +1 858-748-4570 to ask detailed questions about RV accommodations (if available), park rules, maintenance procedures, and management practices. Visiting the park to observe the environment and, if possible, speak with current residents would provide a more informed basis for deciding if Poinsettia Senior & Family Mobilehome Parks aligns with your long-term living needs and preferences.

Poinsettia Senior & Family Mobilehome Parks Reviews
Some of the rules of the park dont apply to all. Dont really care for the office staff. Not very friendly or helpful at all. All they want is your money. Some of the yards have 2 ft weeds growing in their yards yet when our yard had a few we were given a notice. Apparently someone isnt doing their job.
Nov 14, 2023 · JanGreat place to live! Nice, quiet area with friendly people. The park is well maintained and if there is a problem with anything, the office responds quickly. I highly recommend this park, we've been here for 6 years and love it❣️
May 03, 2023 · Anita KelleyGood, affordable homes here. The things that bother me is that I have had two or three different people just walk into my carport like they own the place. There is very little privacy here, and as far as I am concerned one can only build a fence 4 ft. tall, which is not enough to block the view of the neighbors. Speaking of neighbors, most of them do not work, so it brings me a lot of insecurity as they practically watch you leave and go every day. Someone already tried stealing my two mountain bikes. Nice community to live in if you don't mind spending most of your day indoors.
Jun 13, 2013 · Aaron RodgersWe have lived in the Senior half of the park for 3 years. Generally a clean quiet place with friendly neighbors and management. Very little parking unless you leave your extra car on Edgemore which goes down the center between the family and senior sections. Old Poway Park is only 2 blocks away. Lots of activities in the park most weekends. Family side is less cared for with many eyesore homes in among nicer, newer homes. Bad for resale value.
May 09, 2020 · Nancy ReidI do not live here. However, I am always so impressed with the well manicured, beautiful gardens in this place!!
