Portland Fairview RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fairview, Oregon, area, offering a blend of convenience, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere? Look no further than Portland Fairview RV Park, situated at 21401 NE Sandy Blvd, Fairview, OR 97024, USA. Based on feedback from recent guests, our park provides a comfortable and well-located base for both short-term travelers and those seeking longer stays in the Portland metropolitan area.
One of the standout features of Portland Fairview RV Park is its exceptional management, particularly the park manager, Christine. Multiple reviewers have highlighted her helpfulness and willingness to go above and beyond for guests. One visitor described her as "always ready and willing to help" and "awesome," recounting an instance where Christine's compassion and assistance were particularly appreciated during a challenging personal health situation. This level of dedicated and caring management can significantly enhance the overall experience for RVers, providing a sense of security and support during their travels.
The location of Portland Fairview RV Park is also frequently praised, especially by those in the travel nursing profession. One travel nurse who stayed for four months noted it as a "fantastic location close to hospitals but far enough out from downtown that it was quiet and safe." This balance of accessibility to medical facilities and a peaceful environment makes our park an ideal choice for healthcare professionals working in the area. The relative distance from the downtown core also contributes to a sense of safety and tranquility, which can be a welcome respite after a long day.
Beyond its proximity to hospitals, Portland Fairview RV Park offers convenient access to a variety of amenities and attractions. Guests have mentioned its closeness to "food and drink options" and the stunning "gorge for hiking/scenic views." This makes it an excellent base for exploring the natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge and enjoying the diverse culinary scene in the surrounding area. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or a good meal, you'll find options just a short drive away.
The sense of community within Portland Fairview RV Park is also a positive aspect highlighted by long-term guests. The travel nurse who stayed for four months specifically mentioned that their "neighbors were respectful," contributing to a pleasant and harmonious living environment. Respectful neighbors can significantly enhance the quality of life in any shared living space, including an RV park.
Cleanliness and convenience are also priorities at Portland Fairview RV Park. The laundry facilities are described as "great, always clean, and with enough washers/dryers that I never ran into a time I couldn’t do my laundry." Having well-maintained and readily available laundry facilities is a significant convenience for both short-term and long-term RVers, eliminating the need to seek out off-site laundromats.
The staff in the office, in general, are reported to be "always kind and available." This positive feedback reinforces the impression of a well-managed and guest-oriented RV park. Kind and accessible staff can make a significant difference in addressing any concerns or providing assistance needed during your stay.
However, one recurring concern mentioned by a long-term guest is the "lot size," which they wished were "slightly larger as everyone is on top of each other." This suggests that while the park offers many positive attributes, the spacing between RV sites might be somewhat compact. Travelers with particularly large rigs or those who prefer more personal space between sites should take this into consideration when making their booking.
It is important to note that while the majority of feedback is positive, one reviewer did share a negative experience with an older lady working in the office, describing her as "beyond rude and condescending." This isolated incident contrasts sharply with the positive comments about Christine and the general kindness of the office staff. While this seems to be an exception, it is something to be aware of. However, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the park manager and the overall staff suggests that this may not be a typical experience.
For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a convenient location, friendly service, and clean facilities in the Fairview, Oregon, area, Portland Fairview RV Park stands out as a strong contender. Its proximity to hospitals, dining, and outdoor recreation, coupled with the positive experiences shared by previous guests, makes it a desirable option for a variety of travelers.

Portland Fairview RV Park Reviews
A beautiful park and the park manager, Christine, is always ready and willing to help. She is awesome. She would go out of her way to help. However, there is an older lady who works in the office as well. She is beyond rude and condescending. I had to wait for a friend one time. Instead of waiting in the cold, I waited inside. She came across as very irritated and eventually told me to go wait in the cold. Mind you, I just got out of the hospital with sepsis and a kidney infection. Waiting in the cold didn't help for the pain. A little compassion goes a long way.
Jan 18, 2025 · Karen LeBlancStayed here for 4 months as a travel nurse, fantastic location close to hospitals but far enough out from downtown that it was quiet and safe. We enjoyed our stay and our neighbors were respectful. The laundry facilities were great, always clean, and with enough washers/dryers that I never ran into a time I couldn’t do my laundry. Close to food and drink options and the gorge for hiking/scenic views. The staff in the office were always kind and available. Biggest negative is lot size- wish they were slightly larger as everyone is on top of each other.

Jan 11, 2025 · Joni BlasdellOur 4-month stay here was excellent! Would definitely come back. The customer service and our neighbors were great. The location is a convenient drive to shopping, restaurants/food trucks, services and many Columbia River Gorge hiking trails.On-site laundry, pools, clean shower areas, and lots of walking space and grassy areas that our dog enjoyed (and squirrels!)There are hundreds of sites divided into several sections with many options for shade trees in summer and open exposure to what sunlight breaks through in winter months. Trains and planes are often heard, but we don't mind it, and some sites are much farther from the RR tracks.Lots of long-term stays and pets--all of whom we found friendly or simply kept to themselves--and compared to the dozens of other places we've stayed at across the country everyone here did their part to keep things decently tidy and scooped (some well-rated places in Texas, for example, were awful at that scoop part!)Thanks to all who work and reside here for being good hosts and neighbors 👍
Oct 28, 2024 · Jesse CramerI have to rescind my 5 star review. This place is a mixed bag. I really appreciated the wild vegetation but the park is making efforts to manicure everything and being picky about appearances to appease the (m)asses rather than considering what native vegetation and flowers they may be destroying. It drives me nuts when people complain about the "lawn maintenance" because then they end up coming and clear-cutting everything including the big patches of clovers and "weeds" which happen to also be the wildflowers that bees like. The duck pond and playground area is nice and it's nice that management provides feed whenever we want to feed the ducks. The train is a bit meh, being right near the tracks at the back of the park is noisy but it is buffered a bit by trees and bramble and we acclimated. The wifi doesn't work at the back of the park. The on-site storage is convenient. It's sad that they've had to cut down so many trees recently for whatever reason (they might fall over in several years...)I don't know what is going on along the highway but they've plowed over a large strip of wild vegetation (wildflowers) with a big black tarp and rocks... So sadThe staff has always been respectful and kind. They did however terminate our tenancy for "no cause" and do not respond to emails and didn't communicate much. The neighbors were sad to see us go and it was sad to leave the beautiful mother spruce we lived under. It is kid friendly and dog friendly but don't leave yard toys in the yard and don't let plants get wild apparently.
