Quiet RV Park

445 Gum St, Bridge City, TX 77611, USA

4.0
Great low price for you budget oriented travelers and turnaround warriors! The owner is a nice guy, always around if you need him basically anytime, and he is easy to work with if you need something! It's a very nice, quiet RV park as the name suggests in a neighborhood but right down the street from Walmart, Raceway, Dollar General, CVS, etc. Lots of stores close by. There are no amenities in the park but there is a Reliable Cleaners 2 - 3 miles from the park. There is no concrete here for spaces so if you need that to feel comfortable this isn't the place for you. I have never experienced any flooding type situations or stepping out into big water puddles like some places. The owner makes sure that he adds gravel as needed to keep things like that from happening. I have a 30' bumper pull and it fits quite nicely with room for my 1/2 ton to park beside it. There is a 5th wheel that is there and can probably fit another 1 or 2 depending on your driving skills but smaller bumper pulls or small 5th wheels are perfect here. If you're coming in from out of town to work turnarounds at the refineries or chemical plants then on your way you can stop off on the side of the highway and do some fishing after work to relax some as this place is right by the Gulf. The plants and refineries are anywhere from 10 to up to 30 minutes from here depending on traffic and which plant or refinery you're working at. There are plenty of good restaurants in town and a few good bars to go sit and have a drink at to relax after a hard days work. When you're in the park, you aren't ever bothered by anyone. They all pretty much stay to themselves except for an occasional "hello" from them. No loud music or people working on things outside making a lot of noise so it really is a very quiet place to stay. - Tray Brown

Quiet RV Park Introduce

Welcome to Quiet RV Park, located at 445 Gum St in Bridge City, Texas. If you are searching for "RV parks near me" and are looking for an affordable and tranquil place to park your RV, especially if you are a budget-oriented traveler or in the area for work turnarounds, Quiet RV Park might be an excellent option for you. Based on customer reviews, this park offers a no-frills, quiet environment with a helpful owner and a convenient location.

One of the standout features of Quiet RV Park, as highlighted by multiple reviewers, is its affordability. It's described as having a "great low price" that caters to "budget oriented travelers." For those mindful of their expenses while on the road or staying for work, this can be a significant advantage. The value for the price seems to be well-regarded by those who have stayed here.

The owner of Quiet RV Park receives consistent positive feedback. He is described as a "nice guy" who is "always around if you need him basically anytime" and "easy to work with if you need something!" This level of accessibility and helpfulness from the owner can greatly enhance the stay, providing peace of mind knowing that assistance is readily available. His proactive approach to park maintenance, such as adding gravel as needed to prevent flooding and puddles, is also appreciated by residents.

As the name suggests, Quiet RV Park prides itself on its peaceful atmosphere. It is located "in a neighborhood" setting, which often contributes to a more residential and less transient feel compared to some larger RV resorts. Reviewers consistently mention that it is a "very nice, quiet RV park," where you are "never bothered by anyone." The residents tend to "stay to themselves," and there is a noticeable absence of "loud music or people working on things outside making a lot of noise," ensuring a truly quiet stay for those who value tranquility.

Despite being a no-frills park, Quiet RV Park boasts a highly convenient location. It is situated "right down the street from Walmart, Raceway, Dollar General, CVS, etc." This proximity to a variety of stores makes it easy for residents to access groceries, gas, everyday essentials, and pharmacies without having to travel far. The abundance of "lots of stores close by" adds to the practicality of staying at this location.

It is important to note that Quiet RV Park does not offer on-site amenities such as laundry facilities. However, a "Reliable Cleaners" is conveniently located just "2 - 3 miles from the park," providing a nearby option for laundry services. For those who prioritize a quiet and affordable stay over extensive on-site amenities, this trade-off may be acceptable.

One of the key considerations for RVers is the type of parking spaces available. Quiet RV Park does not have concrete pads for its spaces. If a concrete site is a must-have for your comfort, then this might not be the ideal location for you. However, the owner's diligence in adding gravel as needed helps to maintain the grounds and prevent issues like flooding and large puddles, which is a practical benefit.

Quiet RV Park appears to be particularly well-suited for smaller RVs. One reviewer with a 30' bumper pull stated that it "fits quite nicely with room for my 1/2 ton to park beside it." While there is a 5th wheel present in the park, the reviewer suggests that larger 5th wheels or multiple large RVs might find it more challenging to maneuver and park. The park is described as "perfect for smaller bumper pulls or small 5th wheels." Another reviewer with a 39ft RV and two full-size trucks noted that space was limited for them, especially since a 50amp service was not available at the time, and they were running on 30amps. This indicates that while larger RVs might be accommodated, it could be a tighter fit, and availability of higher amperage service should be confirmed.

The location of Quiet RV Park in Bridge City also offers advantages for those working at nearby industrial facilities. It is situated such that the "plants and refineries are anywhere from 10 to up to 30 minutes from here depending on traffic and which plant or refinery you're working at." This makes it a potentially convenient base for "turnaround warriors" or those working temporary assignments at these locations.

For leisure and recreation, the park's proximity to the Gulf Coast is a significant benefit. Workers or travelers can "stop off on the side of the highway and do some fishing after work to relax some as this place is right by the Gulf." Additionally, Bridge City offers "plenty of good restaurants in town and a few good bars to go sit and have a drink at to relax after a hard days work." The surrounding area also offers "alot of things to do around here as well. Beach, fishing, night life as well," providing options for entertainment and relaxation outside of the park.

One reviewer noted that the entrance from the street can be "a tight fit coming from the street" and advised caution for those with large RVs due to "deep ditches!" This is an important consideration for anyone approaching the park with a larger rig.

In summary, Quiet RV Park in Bridge City, Texas, offers a budget-friendly and peaceful stay in a convenient location near essential stores and with easy access to work sites and recreational opportunities along the Gulf Coast. It is particularly well-suited for smaller RVs and those who prioritize quiet and affordability over extensive on-site amenities. The owner is consistently praised for his helpfulness and proactive management. If you are looking for a no-frills, quiet "RV park near me" in Bridge City, Quiet RV Park is definitely worth considering.
