The Elite RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Bridge City, Texas area, The Elite RV Park, located at 195 Texas Ave, Bridge City, TX 77611, USA, warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback. The available reviews raise significant concerns regarding new management practices, payment procedures, unexpected policies, limited facilities, accessibility issues, environmental factors, and unpredictable rent increases. This introduction aims to provide a detailed and objective overview of The Elite RV Park based on these reviews, highlighting potential challenges for prospective residents.
One reviewer begins by stating that "This rv park is under new management, and I do NOT suggest staying here!" This strong and immediate negative recommendation sets a concerning tone. The primary issues raised by this reviewer relate to payment difficulties, particularly for working individuals, and the implementation of "rv inspections." The reviewer, with experience staying at numerous RV parks over the years, expresses surprise and disapproval of the inspection policy, especially for residents who maintain their campers and pay on time without causing any issues. This suggests a potentially intrusive and unnecessary policy that could be off-putting to responsible RV owners seeking a hassle-free living arrangement.
Another review echoes the negative sentiment and provides further critical feedback on several aspects of The Elite RV Park. This reviewer points out "Not Enough Facilties" and explicitly states that the park is "NOT HANDICAP ACSESSIBLE." The lack of adequate facilities can significantly impact the comfort and convenience of all residents, and the lack of handicap accessibility is a serious concern, potentially making the park unsuitable for individuals with mobility challenges. These are fundamental aspects that potential residents with specific needs should carefully consider.
Furthermore, this reviewer highlights an environmental disadvantage, noting that the park is "rite by a marsh that is feeled with mosquitos." Proximity to a marsh often leads to a higher concentration of mosquitoes, which can be a significant nuisance and health concern for residents, especially during warmer months. This is an environmental factor that could detract from the outdoor enjoyment and overall comfort of living at The Elite RV Park.
The financial aspect of staying at The Elite RV Park is also heavily criticized in this review. The reviewer recounts a personal experience of an unannounced rent increase, stating, "I was paying 550$ for a 14' × 8 rv 30amp breaker, then the following month without notice they jumped too 600$." An unexpected and significant rent increase of $50 in a single month, without prior notification, demonstrates a lack of transparency and potentially unstable pricing practices. The reviewer also mentions being disabled, which could make such sudden financial changes particularly burdensome.
Considering these two reviews, the environment of The Elite RV Park appears to be negatively impacted by its proximity to a mosquito-infested marsh. This could lead to discomfort and potential health risks for residents who wish to spend time outdoors. The lack of handicap accessibility further limits the suitability of the park for individuals with mobility impairments. The facilities are described as "Not Enough," suggesting that essential amenities might be lacking or inadequate for the number of residents.
In terms of services and features, the reviews provide a concerning outlook:
- **Payment Procedures:** The new management is reported to have payment methods that are inconvenient, especially for working individuals. Specific details of these difficulties are not provided, but it raises concerns about the ease of fulfilling payment obligations.
- **RV Inspections:** The implementation of RV inspections by the new management is viewed negatively by at least one long-term RVer who maintains their property and pays on time. The purpose and scope of these inspections are unclear, but they are perceived as unnecessary and intrusive.
- **Limited Facilities:** The park is described as having "Not Enough Facilties," though the specific facilities that are lacking are not detailed. This could refer to restrooms, showers, laundry, recreational areas, or other amenities commonly found in RV parks.
- **Lack of Handicap Accessibility:** A significant drawback for individuals with mobility issues, potentially limiting their ability to navigate the park and utilize its facilities.
- **Potential for Unpredictable Rent Increases:** Rent is reported to be "subject to go up without notice," creating financial instability and uncertainty for residents.
While the reviews do not explicitly detail standard RV park services like electrical hookups (though a 30amp breaker is mentioned in the context of rent), water, and sewer, it is reasonable to assume these basic utilities are provided. However, the negative feedback overshadows these fundamental aspects.
Regarding promotional information, there is no mention of any special offers or incentives in the provided reviews. Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback concerning the new management, policies, facilities, and environmental factors, it is unlikely that The Elite RV Park is actively promoting itself based on positive attributes. The lack of transparency regarding rent increases would also deter potential long-term residents who value predictable expenses.
To obtain further clarification on the specific facilities available, the details of the payment procedures and RV inspection policy, the park's accessibility features, and the management's policies regarding rent increases and mosquito control, it is strongly recommended to contact The Elite RV Park directly at (409) 782-6669 or +1 409-782-6669. Prospective residents should ask detailed questions about these concerns to make an informed decision.
In conclusion, based on the limited but strongly negative customer reviews, The Elite RV Park in Bridge City, TX, under new management, appears to present several significant challenges for potential residents. These include inconvenient payment methods, the implementation of potentially intrusive RV inspections, a lack of sufficient facilities, a lack of handicap accessibility, proximity to a mosquito-infested marsh, and the risk of unpredictable rent increases without notice. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," The Elite RV Park warrants extreme caution and thorough investigation of these concerns before considering a stay. The negative feedback suggests that the "Elite" in the name may not currently reflect the experience of its residents.

The Elite RV Park Reviews
This rv park is under new management, and I do NOT suggest staying here! They do not make it easy to pay especially for a working person. And they are now going to start giving rv inspections! I have stayed at numerous rv parks over the yrs working on the road, and I have never heard of such a thing. I keep to myself with a well maintained camper, pay on time and do not need to be baby sat or bothered by nonsense.

Aug 30, 2024 · Brett MichelRecently under new management and it's not good.. they have added new rules... and want to do "rv inspections"... They bother you and try to manage your rv for you. They also charge a fee of 20 dollars to take your rv payment.. the internet works less than a 3rd of the time... completely ready to move out.. this place is treated more like an rv storage rather than a rv park...
