Rancho Del Rey Introduce
While you might be searching for "RV parks near me," it's worth considering the often-overlooked option of well-maintained mobile home parks like Rancho Del Rey, located at 1633 Webster St Spc 131, League City, TX 77573, USA. Rancho Del Rey offers a different style of long-term living that may appeal to those seeking a stable and potentially more affordable housing solution for their manufactured homes, even if they initially considered RV parks.
Based on recent feedback from individuals who have interacted with or reside at Rancho Del Rey, several key aspects of this community stand out. One potential resident, who initially inquired about a spot for a double-wide mobile home (which they no longer accommodate), was impressed enough by the overall environment to reconsider opting for a single-wide. This speaks volumes about the positive first impression the park makes. The reviewer specifically highlighted the well-maintained roads, the absence of excessive trash, and a perceived sense of safety and community, contrasting it favorably with other areas. This suggests that Rancho Del Rey prioritizes the upkeep of its grounds and fosters a more controlled and pleasant living environment.
Another reviewer focused on the affordability of the lot rent, stating that at $550, it is "super affordable" compared to their current expenses. This could be a significant draw for those looking to manage their housing costs effectively in the League City area. However, this affordability comes with certain requirements. The review mentions "strict background checks" and a "pricey deposit," indicating that Rancho Del Rey has measures in place to ensure a responsible and secure community. Prospective residents should be prepared to undergo a thorough screening process and meet the financial deposit obligations.
For pet owners, Rancho Del Rey has a specific policy in place, requiring a pet deposit. While the exact amount of this deposit isn't mentioned in this particular review, it's noted that this policy likely contributes to the "lack of stray dogs" within the park. This can be a significant benefit for residents who appreciate a pet-friendly environment that is also well-controlled and safe for both people and animals.
Overall, the second review concludes that Rancho Del Rey is a "well kept park." This reinforces the positive impression of the park's maintenance and general upkeep, suggesting that residents can expect a clean and orderly living environment.
However, it's important to consider all available feedback to gain a balanced understanding. The third review raises some critical questions regarding park management and specific fees. This reviewer asks about the truthfulness of claims that management is "horrible," that there is a $200 charge per pet in one's "OWN house," and a $75 fee for failing to cut the grass in a timely manner. These are serious concerns that potential residents would need to investigate further to ascertain the accuracy and context of these claims.
While the first two reviews paint a generally positive picture of Rancho Del Rey as a well-maintained and affordable (in terms of lot rent) community with a focus on safety and responsible pet ownership, the third review introduces potential downsides related to management practices and specific charges. It's crucial for prospective residents to weigh these different perspectives and seek clarification on the policies and fees mentioned in the more critical feedback.
Considering the information available, Rancho Del Rey appears to be a mobile home park that values order, maintenance, and a degree of control over the community environment through background checks and pet deposits. The affordable lot rent, as highlighted by one reviewer, could be a significant advantage for those on a budget. The positive comments about the overall upkeep and the absence of issues like potholes and excessive trash suggest a commitment to maintaining a pleasant living space.
However, the questions raised in the third review regarding management and fees cannot be ignored. Potential residents should inquire specifically about pet policies, including any associated fees, and the regulations regarding lawn maintenance and any penalties for non-compliance. Understanding these rules upfront is essential for a positive living experience.
In the context of searching for "RV parks near me," Rancho Del Rey presents an alternative for those who own or are considering purchasing a single-wide mobile home for a more permanent or long-term living situation. While it doesn't cater to double-wide homes, the positive aspects highlighted in some reviews—such as the well-maintained environment and affordable lot rent—could make it an attractive option for the right individuals. The emphasis on background checks and pet deposits suggests a community that aims to maintain a certain standard of resident behavior and pet management, which could be appealing to those seeking a more stable and predictable living environment compared to some less regulated options.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Rancho Del Rey and address the questions raised in the third review, interested individuals are encouraged to contact the park directly at (281) 332-6741 or +1 281-332-6741. Speaking with the management and potentially current residents (if possible) would provide valuable insights into the park's policies, fees, and overall living environment. It's essential to gather firsthand information to make an informed decision about whether Rancho Del Rey is the right fit for your housing needs.
In conclusion, Rancho Del Rey in League City, TX, appears to be a mobile home park that offers affordable lot rent and a well-maintained environment, with policies in place to promote safety and responsible pet ownership. However, prospective residents should also be aware of the reported strict background checks, potential deposits, and the questions raised regarding management practices and specific fees for pets and lawn maintenance. Direct communication with the park management is crucial to obtain accurate and up-to-date information and to determine if Rancho Del Rey meets your specific requirements for long-term living.

Rancho Del Rey Reviews
Called about a spot for a double-wide, but they don't take them anymore. That said, I'm still giving this place 5 stars because it actually made me reconsider getting a single-wide! The roads aren't 90% potholes, there's no trash everywhere, and-best of all-it's not overrun with meth heads. A rare find!(If you live in Bacliff you know😂😭)Lot rent is super affordable compared to what I pay now ($550), but be ready for strict background checks and a pricey deposit. Pet deposit required, which explains the lack of stray dogs. Overall it's just a well kept park.

Feb 11, 2018 · Delora B.Plumbing system is worsted, the stinky odor backup to the sinks is really stinked every morning. Children are playing on the street which have caused traffic most of the time. Noisy on the holidays and weekends are happening quite often. The roads are bumping and dirty. Neighbors are unfriendly, male prostitute, iligal drugs used and sold here. Water system is stinky, I can not use water of this park to cook at all the time. Especially, in the summer, water is smelled like smudged, death animals, and bad plumbing mixed together.
