Ravenwood Community Introduce
Ravenwood Community, located at 2400 N 1st St in Lincoln, Nebraska, presents itself as a residential option within the Lincoln metropolitan area. While primarily functioning as a mobile home community, it's possible that Ravenwood Community also accommodates individuals seeking "RV parks near me," depending on the availability of designated RV sites and the community's current policies. To provide a detailed introduction, it's essential to consider the potential environment, services, and features, while also incorporating the insights gleaned from the available customer reviews.
The environment surrounding Ravenwood Community in Lincoln, Nebraska, offers the advantages of being situated within a larger urban center. Lincoln provides a wide array of amenities, including shopping centers, restaurants, cultural attractions, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities. Being located on North 1st Street suggests accessibility to major thoroughfares and potentially various parts of the city. While specific details about the immediate natural surroundings of Ravenwood Community are not provided, residents likely benefit from the urban conveniences that Lincoln offers. The community itself may offer its own internal green spaces or communal areas, contributing to the living environment within the park.
In terms of services and features typically associated with mobile home parks, Ravenwood Community likely provides essential infrastructure for its residents. This generally includes individual utility hookups for each mobile home lot, such as water, sewer, and electricity. Well-maintained internal roads facilitating movement within the community are also standard. Residents would typically expect waste management services, including trash and recycling collection. Effective management is crucial for the smooth operation of the community, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring adherence to park rules and regulations. The reviews suggest a historical emphasis on community, which could translate to organized events and a neighborly atmosphere, although recent changes may have impacted this aspect.
For those interested in "RV parks near me," it is important to determine if Ravenwood Community currently offers accommodations for recreational vehicles. If RV sites are available, they would typically include electrical hookups (potentially with different amperage options), water connections, and sewer hookups. Additional amenities that enhance RV living could include laundry facilities, restrooms with showers, and possibly communal recreation areas. Given the information available, the primary focus appears to be on mobile home living, and the availability of RV sites would need to be confirmed directly with the community management.
The provided customer reviews offer a mixed perspective on Ravenwood Community. One review highlights a significant negative experience regarding parking and towing. The reviewer describes an incident where a delivery driver's car was towed within minutes of arrival, resulting in a substantial fee. This suggests potential issues with parking availability for guests, delivery services, and possibly even tenants, raising concerns about accessibility and the enforcement of parking regulations within the community. This negative feedback could be a significant deterrent for individuals who frequently have visitors or rely on delivery services.
In contrast, the second review provides a historical perspective and a more nuanced current view. The reviewer, who moved into the community around 1997, recalls a time when homeownership was a requirement and emphasizes the strong sense of community, effective management, and helpful maintenance crew that initially attracted them to Ravenwood Community. They note a shift in the community's mission, stating that around 2004, the focus changed towards leasing rather than ownership, and that the current owners/management prioritize financial gain. This has led to concerns about rising rent costs and the displacement of homeowners. Despite these concerns about management policies, the reviewer still acknowledges positive aspects such as good neighbors and various events for kids and families, including a pool. This suggests that while the management's approach may be a point of contention, the underlying community spirit and some amenities remain appealing to long-term residents.
Regarding promotional information, the historical account in the second review implicitly promotes the past sense of strong community, effective management, and resident support. The mention of events for kids and families, as well as the presence of a pool, could still be considered positive features that might attract potential residents. However, the current management's alleged focus on financial gain and the significant parking/towing issue raised in the first review present considerable challenges from a promotional standpoint. Any current promotional efforts would need to address these concerns or highlight other compelling aspects of the community to attract new residents.
To gain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of Ravenwood Community, it is crucial to contact the management directly at (402) 475-5572 or +1 402-475-5572. Inquire about the current availability of mobile home lots and any potential RV sites, the specific amenities and services offered, the current rental rates and policies regarding homeownership versus leasing, parking regulations for residents and guests, and any ongoing community events or facilities. It would also be beneficial to seek more recent reviews or testimonials from current residents to obtain a broader perspective on the current living experience at Ravenwood Community. Considering both the historical strengths of the community and the more recent concerns regarding management and parking will enable potential residents to make a more informed decision about whether Ravenwood Community aligns with their needs and expectations for mobile home or RV living in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Ravenwood Community Reviews
Delivery driver for Instacart brought groceries to the door, and within literally 2 minutes, a tow truck picked up their car. They charged them $260 to drop it. This place is a scam, and there is no adequate parking for delivery drivers, guests, or tenants. Would not recommend to an enemy.
Feb 23, 2025 · Keenan SerranoPrior to approximately 2004, (1997 my move in year). You had to be a home owner to live in these Trailer courts. For many years, these courts were a community all its pwn. Management and residents all on the same page. I moved here because of its community. management. and it's maintenance crew. Here to help this handicap resident when it was too hard for her.Dont misunderstand, this is an excellent place to live still, except when the owners//management78 decided to change their mission statement. and are now alll about the money. You can no longer own, only lease. They are pushing us home owners out. Have almost succeeded. Last year raised rent $90 a month, claimiing increased vender costs.. yet, it is m0y understanding, the majority of "beautification" repairs have been infrastructure thru non pay back grants from the city of Lincoln. Sure hope they don't raise as much or use the same reasoning this year.Neighbors are still good, this place has all sorts of events for kids and family. Heck, even I must make it to the pool at least once each season. Taking management with a grain of salt, i truly love it here.
Oct 25, 2024 · Toby MillerDo not rent from these people. They absolutely don't care about their tenants. We moved into a three-bedroom home that they claimed was move-in ready. Here's what they considered move-in ready: broken kitchen drawers, a busted "brand new" stove and fridge, scuffed floors, kicked-in doors, water damage, a rotting deck, a leaking sink, standing water in a "brand new" dishwasher, and cords sticking out of the floors. We complained numerous times to get anything fixed, but even then, their maintenance team was incompetent and did a shoddy job. They cut corners to the extreme, making tenants feel awful for asking them to work.Additionally, they distribute park rules but don't enforce any of them. They don't care if your lawn is overgrown, if you exceed pet limits or have restricted breeds, if there is street parking, or if other tenants blast loud, house-shaking music. They even allow drug dealers to operate out of the houses.I could go on and on about how terrible these people are. Also, if you complain about these issues, expect the park to blacklist your house as a problem for trying to hold them accountable.
Jul 08, 2024 · Corn KnightA lot of homes being replace with newer, up to date units. New management, and they're wonderful. Office staff has all been great about helping me out whenever I need something. And i don't think I've ever had an issue with being answered or at least getting a call back.In regards to your yard, you're told upon move in that you're responsible for you own clean upwhen it comes to snow, lawn care, and pet waste. It's in the lease 😊 Water shut offs also get a notice unless it's an emergency shut off, but even then they still try to give us notice (email or they sound the siren). Rent did increase when I renewed my lease, but that was because they hadn't been able to raise rent since covid. At least in my area of Maple grove, it's pretty quiet with the exception of when school lets out obviously.Highly recommend.
Feb 17, 2023 · Ashley MaschkaMeh ..it's OK rent is kinda high for a cardboard trailer house ! They look amazing but but that ac or heater when on will never stop running so expect 200 to 300 les bill a month .for neighbors. They need to be able to start choosing who the let move in .cause this place is letting some wild people rent here .maybe background checks would be a nice start 🤷♂️.both of mine are felons. One breaking and entering and my other one fresh from prison for manufacturing Control substances. 🤷♂️.yards are pretty small .no large dogs and also you ha e to ask for everything you want to do in the yards unlike other places .even for a small storage shed you have to be given permission. But all in all .not to shabby of a place .I'd make this place a just to get by for a year or two !
