Mark IV Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For those seeking "RV parks near me" in Lincoln, Nebraska, Mark IV Manufactured Home Community, located at 4420 N 19th St, Lincoln, NE 68521, USA, presents a possibility to consider. Primarily a manufactured home community, it may also offer options for RV stays, particularly for individuals or families seeking longer-term arrangements. The available customer reviews provide insights into the community's environment, management, and some of its services, although they do not explicitly focus on RV accommodations. By synthesizing the information from these reviews, we can develop a potential understanding for RV travelers, while underscoring the necessity of direct inquiry for specific RV-related details.
Environment and Atmosphere:
Several reviewers describe Mark IV Manufactured Home Community as "welcoming," "very quiet," and "peaceful." The presence of "gorgeous trees" contributes to the aesthetic appeal and potentially a more serene environment compared to some other mobile home parks or RV parks. The community is noted for having a "good mixture of new and older mobile homes," suggesting a diverse and established neighborhood. Residents appear to take pride in their homes, with visible "effort in just about everyone's homes," indicating a degree of community investment and care.
The entry from Superior Street is specifically mentioned as being "kept so beautifully," suggesting attention to curb appeal and the initial impression of the community. The overall atmosphere seems conducive to a quiet and safe living environment, with one long-term resident noting the "very low" crime rate, which is a significant positive for any potential resident or guest, including RV travelers seeking security during their stay.
However, one downside mentioned is the lack of street lights, although most lots reportedly have light posts. This could be a consideration for RVers arriving or navigating the park at night. Additionally, while road maintenance was initially good, a reviewer noted a significant deterioration with "huge pot holes everywhere" over a period, although a later update indicated that the roads were "completely redone" and are now "very nice and smooth." This history suggests that while infrastructure issues may arise, they can also be addressed.
Services and Potential Amenities for RV Guests:
The reviews provide some information about the services offered to residents of the manufactured home community, which may or may not extend to RV guests. These include:
- Management: The manager, Maria, is consistently praised for her excellent service, helpfulness, and welcoming demeanor, particularly in assisting new residents with their move. This positive interaction with management could be beneficial for RV travelers as well, especially during the check-in process and for addressing any needs or concerns.
- Utilities: Residents are charged a base fee for water and a separate fee for sewage, with water bills divided evenly across the park. This billing structure might be relevant for long-term RV stays if they are offered. Trash service is also billed separately, potentially at a higher rate than direct service. It's important for RVers to understand how utilities would be handled and billed for their stay.
- Cable and Internet: Notably, the park offers "free cable and internet," which could be a significant perk for RV guests, especially those planning an extended stay and needing these services. The reliability and speed of the internet would be a point of inquiry for RVers who depend on it.
- Road Maintenance: As mentioned earlier, the roads have seen improvement with a recent repaving project. The condition of roads within an RV park is crucial for the maneuverability and safety of RVs. The current smooth roads are a significant positive.
- Trash Service: While a base trash service is charged, there is an additional fee for picking up larger items. RV travelers would need to understand the specific procedures and costs associated with trash disposal.
Amenities commonly found in dedicated RV parks, such as laundry facilities, restrooms and showers specifically for transient guests, dump stations, or recreational areas, are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews. Their availability at Mark IV for RV guests would need to be confirmed directly with the management.

Based on the available information, there are potential benefits for RVers to consider Mark IV Manufactured Home Community:
- Quiet and Safe Environment: The community is consistently described as quiet and having a low crime rate, offering peace of mind for travelers.
- Free Cable and Internet: This is a significant value-added service that can enhance the stay for RV guests.

Mark IV Manufactured Home Community Reviews
The entry from Superior Street entrance is kept so beautifully! The manager Maria took my family to see the units available. Maria had all the answers I needed to ensure that my move from deep south Texas was smooth and welcoming. Maria kept in contact with me until I arrived safely in her community. The community itself is welcoming. The neighbors are very pleasant. It's quiet with some of the most gorgeous trees. There is a good mixture of new and older moblie homes. You see effort in just about everyone's homes. You look around and you can see for yourself what maintenance does regularly.Maria's assistance will never be forgotten . She made what should've been a nerve wrecking experience one of ease. This community is well worth looking into.
Jul 28, 2024 · Sandra MartinI have lived here for just a few months and seem to like it so far. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Only down side is there are no street lights. But most of the lots have light posts. The pot holes are bad but there working to fill them in. Over all I can see myself living here for many years to come.Update 09/08/21:So I have lived here for a couple years now. The park is very quiet compared to many other mobile home parks I have been in. And the crime rate seems very low. I really like that about Mark 4. It's very peaceful here. The location is great and there is alot close by.There rent is still fairly reasonable altho a little higher then some of the others in town that do a better job of maintaining there parks. They do offer free cable and internet which is nice. One downside is they charge a base fee for water and a separate charge for sewage. Seems kind of unfair considering they divide the water bill evenly among the whole park. So a single family like my self pays the same rate as a family of 4. Which means I pay more then I should have to since clearly I use less water. There base fees are higher then if I were to pay the water company directly. They charge for trash service, but you end up paying them more for trash service then if you just had your own service contract thru the trash company. And now, they charge an additional $40 fee for picking up additional larger items. When I first moved here they did a pretty good job of maintaining the roads and repaired them as needed. Over this last year the roads have gotten extremely bad tho and they have made no effort to repair them at all. There are huge pot holes everywhere. I drive a nicer car and don't want the extra wear on my vehicle just because they don't want to fix the roads now.The mobile home park has changed management several times in the short time I have been here which doesn't seem good and doesn't say much about the parks ownership. I have heard there is talk of them raising the rent again. They already raised the rent once in the 2 years I have lived here and the increase was no small amount. Yet they will continue to over charge for water and trash, and now provide no maintenance to the roads. Seems kind of high in price now to me to live here when there are are other mobile home parks with comparable rent and better maintenance to there communities. I bought a brand new trailer here and wish I had considered some of my other options before doing so. Now I am stuck here as I cannot afford to move my trailer and have invested far to much money in it to sell. Hopefully as management changes over time, things will get better and the owners will do more to improve the park.Update 01/30/22:This last summer the came in and completely redid the roads. The black topped the whole thing. It's very nice and smooth now. I am very happy about that. They maintained the tree in my back yard as half of it was dead and dangerous. I can say I am very happy now to live in Mark 4 estates. I would recommend it to anyone looking. I just hope the don't raise the rent cause of the roads. I change my review to a 5 star!Update 02/05/22The are raising the rent by $25 dollars. For those on a fixed income that makes it hard to afford all the rental rate increases from year after year. I knew that since they redid the roads the would expect all the tenants to pay for it. I mean the roads are nice know.. but it's really there responsibility, not ours. They are decreasing the cost of trash by 5 bucks but off set it by 5 dollars for a meter charge or service charge.. whatever that means. I'm surprised there not charging for the cable tv and internet. There still the most expensive lot rent in town even tho they try and say there keeping up with competitive pricing.
Feb 06, 2022 · Jason Govevery nice and clean looking park. I didn't see alot of the refuse ect. you often see when passing through these parks. it seemed pretty calm and over all it was a pleasant visit for us. I appreciated the trees as well and the much needed shade
Jun 09, 2024 · Shonna Coleman (#snarkydeals S. Coleman)This is a very good family and friends type of trailer court. However the lot rent is outrageous. And you can't have any friends over cuz there's no parking. The owner allows some people have big dogs until other people they can't. Poorly managed and Big Time risks with owner and favoritism to some tenants I would not recommend anybody put their trailer in here
Jul 11, 2023 · christopher sinnerWe have had alot of change in the last several years. They have updated the roads and cut excess trees down that had really needed trimmed. Maria in the office is very nice and helpful if looking for a new home or just a place to rent.. They have put in new mobliehomes just like the other trailer parks.. They were for sale.. they were sold fast. They may have more now not sure.. lts a quiet community.
