You can contact them at (210) 622-9494 or their mobile number, +1 210-622-9494, for further inquiries. As a platform dedicated to providing information about RV parks, we aim to present an objective overview based on the available customer reviews to assist you in making an informed decision.
When evaluating "RV parks near me," it's essential to consider various aspects such as the environment, the services provided, any unique features, and the overall value proposition. Based on the limited information available, specifically two customer reviews, the feedback regarding Ridge Crest MHC raises some significant concerns that prospective residents should carefully consider.
Regarding the environment of Ridge Crest MHC, one reviewer explicitly states, "This PLACE is HORRIBLE" and advises others to "stay away from this PLACE." This strong negative sentiment suggests potential issues with the overall environment or management of the park. Another reviewer mentions "too many red ant hills," which has reportedly led to their dogs losing fur and itching, resulting in a $1,000 vet bill, and the reviewer also experiencing itching. This indicates a potential problem with pest control within the park, which could impact the health and comfort of both residents and their pets.
In terms of services, one review highlights a significant and recurring problem with the "water system," stating that "it's broken on a daily or weekly basis." Frequent disruptions to essential utilities like water can severely impact the quality of life for residents and should be a major consideration for anyone thinking of moving into Ridge Crest MHC. The same reviewer also mentions that the management "write you up for everything and anything," suggesting a potentially strict and possibly overly critical enforcement of park rules, which might not align with everyone's expectations for community living.
Features that might typically attract residents to an RV park are overshadowed by the negative feedback in the provided reviews. While the park seemingly aspires to be an "H.O.A. Community," the reviewer suggests that their focus should instead be on addressing the fundamental issues like the failing water system. The desire to implement Homeowners Association-style regulations without first ensuring basic infrastructure is reliable could be a point of concern for potential residents seeking a stable and well-maintained living environment.
Promotional information is absent in the provided reviews, and given the strongly negative feedback, it is unlikely that the park is actively promoting itself based on positive testimonials. Prospective residents would need to directly contact Ridge Crest MHC to inquire about current rates, policies, and any potential incentives they might be offering. However, the reviews strongly suggest that focusing on the fundamental issues raised by current residents should be a priority for the management.
The cost of living at Ridge Crest MHC is also a point of concern, with one reviewer stating that "the Cost of rent keeps going up just about every 6 months or so" and that "they want more money for a lot that is not worth a dollar." This indicates a perceived lack of value for the increasing rental costs, especially when coupled with the reported maintenance issues and environmental concerns. Rapid and frequent rent increases without corresponding improvements in services or infrastructure can be a significant deterrent for those seeking affordable and stable long-term RV living options among "RV parks near me."
The first reviewer expresses a fear of "retaliation" for their honest review, indicating a potentially negative management response to resident feedback. This is a serious concern as it suggests a lack of open communication and a potentially adversarial relationship between the management and the residents. A healthy and well-managed RV park typically encourages open communication and addresses resident concerns constructively.
In conclusion, based on the limited but strongly negative customer reviews available for Ridge Crest MHC in Von Ormy, Texas, prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" should exercise extreme caution. The reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the park's environment (pest issues), essential services (frequent water system failures), management practices (strict rule enforcement, perceived lack of value for increasing rent, potential for retaliation against reviewers), and overall habitability. While it is important to consider that these are just two individual experiences, the severity and consistency of the negative feedback warrant thorough investigation and careful consideration before making any commitment to reside at Ridge Crest MHC. It is strongly recommended to visit the park in person, if possible, speak with current residents (if feasible), and ask detailed questions about the issues raised in these reviews to gain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the living conditions and management practices at Ridge Crest MHC.

Ridge Crest MHC Reviews
If people actually read the reviews. They would know to start away from this PLACE.This PLACE is HORRIBLE. They are trying to be an H.O.A. Community. What they should really be doing is redo the water system they have. It's broken on a daily or weekly basis. They write you up for everything and anything. The Cost of rent keeps going up just about every 6 months or so. This PLACE isn't worth the money or time to come here. I'll get some retaliation for this review because we are still here, but we are just warning People to STAY AWAY.
Mar 04, 2025 · Edward ConverseTo many red ant hills, my dogs are loosing fur and itching all the time. My vet bill is 1,000. Plus I am itching too. Rent seems to go up every 6 months . They want more money for a lot that is not worth a dollar.
May 26, 2024 · Rosy MartelThe water is always a problem it doesn't work half the time, the price of trash pick up is way to high and it only gets picked up once a week, and yet again the rent went up again there is nothing in this park worth wht we are having to pay, most of the people in this park live on a fixed income and after paying rent there is nothing left to live on. This park is not what it use to be, the roads are just patched and not fixed, anything they do is just for the money and this is my opinion!!!!!I'm sure everyone struggles every month which is not right. You should be able to live comfortably and can't why is it they don't show all the reviews on this site????I know for a fact all the reviews are not on here
Dec 06, 2023 · Debbie WelchI love this place but thinking moving because I'm not going able afford it petty soon. they said it was because taxes when up. which I understand but a lot of us are on ss trying live our golden years it getting harder harder especially rent keep going up and up except for check
Nov 28, 2023 · Tomas GuerreroThe price of this place was what made it stand out...but the new owners are raising rent and not making it worth a while. Compared to other parks, this one has very little to offer. It’s not much of a “community”. It doesn’t have its own amenities. No place for kids to play. Your experience here varies depending what area your house is at. The best part was that it was safe but people have been getting their things stolen left and right and not much is being done. A lot of areas have bad lighting. The back is very dark at night. They used to do the lawn for you which was a plus but they stopped that.
