River Bend Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home community in the Gassville, Arkansas area, River Bend Park, located at 313 Winding River Dr, Gassville, AR 72635, USA, presents itself as a potential option. To provide a detailed and objective introduction for local users, it's essential to consider the available information, including customer reviews, to offer a balanced perspective.
Environment and Location:
Gassville, situated in northern Arkansas, offers a blend of natural beauty and small-town charm. The address, 313 Winding River Dr, suggests that River Bend Park may be located in a potentially scenic area, possibly near a river, which could contribute to a pleasant and tranquil environment for residents. The Ozark Mountains region is known for its outdoor recreational opportunities, including fishing, boating, hiking, and enjoying the natural landscape. Residents of River Bend Park could potentially benefit from the proximity to these attractions, offering a lifestyle that embraces the outdoors.
Gassville itself provides local amenities such as grocery stores, pharmacies, and other essential services, ensuring that residents have access to their daily needs. The town offers a more relaxed pace of life compared to larger urban areas, which can be appealing to those seeking a quieter and more close-knit community.
Community and Atmosphere:
The customer reviews for River Bend Park offer a mixed perspective on the community and atmosphere. One reviewer initially described it as a "very nice clean place for Seniors," and commended Danny and Donna, presumably the park management, as "very honest people" who prioritize the well-being of their renters. This positive feedback suggests that, at least at one point, River Bend Park was perceived as a welcoming and well-maintained community, particularly for senior residents.
However, the same reviewer later significantly revised their opinion due to concerning internal issues within the park. As of May 2023, the reviewer reported the presence of "newer residents" exhibiting aggressive behavior, especially when intoxicated. This behavior reportedly included intimidation of other residents and escalating to threats of gun violence. Given the reviewer's mention of increased gun violence in the broader context, these allegations should be taken seriously by potential residents.
The reviewer explicitly stated they could no longer recommend living at River Bend Park and would move if they could afford to. They also mentioned that the park owner is "very affable" during the initial sales process but allegedly goes back on their word. This paints a picture of a potentially deceptive initial impression, followed by dissatisfaction with the ongoing management or the handling of resident issues.
The reviewer did express hope that the situation with the "troublemakers" could be resolved amicably, which might lead to an amendment of their review. However, as of the provided information, the strong warning to "Beware!" remains a critical point for anyone considering moving into River Bend Park.

- What is the current atmosphere and community dynamic within the park?
- Can potential residents speak with current residents to get a more comprehensive understanding of the living experience?

River Bend Park Reviews
Im editing my initial review as the park is currently experiencing some internal strife. There are a couple of newer residents (newer than us) who have become very aggressive, especially when drinking. There has been intimidation of a number of residents which has escalated to threats of gun violence. It is currently May 2023 and gun shootings are off the charts so this is not something to be taken lightly. I can no longer say "Live here and love it!". If we could afford to move we would. The park owner is very affable and puts on quiet a sales pitch to get people to move in but then goes back on his word. The truth is, it could be quite a lovely place to live, and was until the troublemakers moved in. If this situation gets resolved amicably I will amend my review, otherwise it stands. Beware!
