Robbins RV Introduce
For local RV enthusiasts searching for "RV parks near me" in the Beaumont, Texas area, Robbins RV, located at 7809 TX-124, Beaumont, TX 77705, USA, offers a potentially welcoming and convenient option. You can contact them directly at (409) 840-6411 or +1 409-840-6411 for inquiries and to check availability.
The environment of Robbins RV Park, based on customer feedback, appears to be a key positive aspect. One reviewer describes it as a "great place to stay" and highlights that the park is "kept clean." Another mentions a "grassy drive-through," suggesting a relatively natural and accessible setting for RVs. The presence of a "pond down the path" indicates a potentially pleasant natural feature that guests might enjoy for leisurely walks or simply for its aesthetic appeal. While the reviews don't provide extensive details about the overall landscape or specific natural amenities, the mentions of cleanliness and a pond suggest a comfortable and perhaps slightly scenic environment for a short or longer stay. Its proximity to the interstate and restaurants, as noted by a reviewer, adds to the convenience for travelers looking for easy access to essential services and transportation links.
In terms of services, Robbins RV Park provides essential hookups for RVs. One reviewer specifically mentioned a "drive-through with all the hookups," implying the availability of water, electricity, and sewer connections. For travelers needing a reliable place to connect their RV systems, this is a fundamental requirement. The mention of a "grassy drive-through" also suggests ease of access and setup for various sizes of RVs. While the reviews do not explicitly detail the amperage of the electrical hookups or the specifics of the water and sewer services, the implication is that basic necessities are provided. It would be advisable for potential guests to confirm these details directly with the park management based on their individual RV requirements.
The features of Robbins RV Park seem to lean towards providing a friendly and convenient experience rather than extensive resort-style amenities. A significant feature highlighted in both reviews is the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Gary. He is described as "very kind" and willing to "help in any way he can." One reviewer recounted how Gary met them late in the evening during a storm and personally guided them to their spot. This level of personal attention and helpfulness can greatly enhance a traveler's experience, especially when unexpected situations arise. The availability of "grassy drive-through" sites is also a notable feature, offering ease of parking and departure, particularly for larger RVs or those on a quick overnight stop. The pond, as mentioned earlier, serves as a natural feature that adds to the charm of the location.
One unique feature mentioned by a reviewer is the presence of a train that goes by "several times a day." Interestingly, this reviewer found it to "add to the charm," suggesting that it was not overly disruptive and perhaps even provided a touch of local character. However, it's important to note that individual sensitivities to noise can vary greatly. What one person finds charming, another might find bothersome. Therefore, potential guests who are particularly sensitive to train noise should consider this aspect and perhaps inquire with the park about the frequency and timing of train passages relative to the RV sites.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given reviews. However, one reviewer mentioned a price of "$35 and a handshake" for an overnight stay with full hookups. This suggests that Robbins RV Park might offer competitive rates, especially for a no-frills, friendly stopover. Local users interested in current pricing, daily, weekly, or monthly rates, and any potential discounts or special offers should contact the park directly. Given the positive comments about the owner's helpfulness, it's likely that Gary would be able to provide detailed information regarding pricing and availability.
The two available customer reviews paint a picture of Robbins RV Park as a clean, friendly, and conveniently located option for RVers in the Beaumont area. The emphasis on the owner's kindness and helpfulness stands out as a significant positive. The presence of a pond adds a touch of natural appeal, and the grassy drive-through sites offer practicality. While the train noise is mentioned, one reviewer found it charming, suggesting it might not be a major issue for all guests. However, those sensitive to noise should take this into consideration.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Robbins RV presents itself as a solid option, particularly for those who value a clean environment, friendly service, and convenient access. It seems to cater to those who appreciate a more straightforward and welcoming experience rather than a resort-style setting. The positive feedback about the owner, Gary, suggests a personal touch that can make a stay more enjoyable. The proximity to the interstate and restaurants further enhances its appeal for travelers. However, potential guests should be mindful of the mention of train traffic and consider whether this might impact their stay.
In conclusion, Robbins RV Park in Beaumont, TX, offers a clean and friendly environment with essential RV hookups and the added charm of a pond. The owner, Gary, is consistently praised for his kindness and helpfulness. Its location near the interstate and restaurants provides convenience for travelers. While a nearby train track is mentioned, one reviewer found it to be part of the park's charm. Local RV users looking for a welcoming and practical place to stay should consider contacting Robbins RV at (409) 840-6411 or +1 409-840-6411 for more information on availability and current rates. It appears to be a highly recommended option for "simple folk" who appreciate genuine hospitality and a clean, convenient place to park their RV.

Great place to stay in your RV. Gary (owner) is very kind and will help in any way he can. The park is kept clean. Not to far from interstate, restaurants.
Apr 21, 2025 · Kris RowellWe were driving through a storm and needed a place to stay one night on our travels east. I dialed up Robbins RV at 5:15 p.m. and they had a spot for us. Gary met us and led us to a grassy drive-through with all the hookups for $35 and a handshake. There is a train that goes by several times a day, but that only adds to the charm. If you're expecting a resort, this isn't it, but if you need a friendly place to hang out a night or two. There is a pond down the path. Highly recommended, but we are simple folk.
Jun 07, 2023 · J HouseFine for overnight. No frills but full service water, electric & sewer.. Level sites far enough off freeway to not have vehicle noise. Owners are friendly & helpful. Very reasonable. Some working men camped there got a little loud but owner shut it down immediately. Gary & Nancy are so conscientious... what a pleasure to know there are still people in this world that want to do right!

Apr 18, 2018 · Suzy DiazI did not personally stay at this park. My mother in law did. I visited a few times but seeing as Pitbulls of any kind or mix were not even allowed anywhere on the property (some of you might love that, and this would be a great park for you) and I have a pitbull/lab mix I did not feel very welcome. My mother in law moved her fifth wheel here after Hurricane Harvey. It needed renovating so she stayed at a hotel nearby at night while us kids helped her daily to fix up the fifth wheel at the park. We always left around 8:30-9:00pm as The sun started going down and we no longer had light to see to do renovations. Not to mention my Father in law and the boys worked early at the local plant. The manager seemed very friendly at first and the park was nice and grassy, so my mother in law liked it. Than something changed. The manager said neighbors were complaining about noises late at night (though we were never there after 9:00pm) and was upset that so many people were visiting. He kept accusing my mother in law of changing dogs (she has a tiny cairn terrier but we would occassionally bring one of the kids dog, a blue heeler, around too) and that too many people lived at the trailer. She tried explaining that no one actually lived there, not even her, but that renovations were being done and she needed help with them. She had asked before moving in if that was alright but I guess he changed his mind. Than everyday he would find some excuse to come by (bringing mail, or telling about another complaint) instead of knocking he would always just rip the door open. It scared her that he kept just barging into her house, no knocking, nothing. She wasn't doing anything wrong but she felt it an invasion of privacy. Once we got the Fifth Wheel fixed up, she moved to a different park. One that allowed family members to visit (we have a big family) all dog family members to visit, and one where the manager respected her privacy. Sorry about the long rant, but I felt like people who look into going here should know what happened to our family while here and it wasn't a very great experience.
