If you are searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category for a welcoming and convenient place to stay in the Albemarle, North Carolina area, Rolling Hills Mobile Home and RV Park, located at 35419 Dry Rd, presents a compelling option. Based on recent feedback from temporary and presumably long-term residents, this park offers a safe and quiet environment with the added benefit of on-site management and easy access to essential amenities. Its mix of mobile homes and RV sites caters to a diverse range of residents, from traveling professionals to those seeking a more permanent community.
The environment at Rolling Hills Mobile Home and RV Park is described as both safe and quiet, which are highly valued attributes for both short-term and long-term stays. One reviewer, a traveling construction superintendent with a large fifth-wheel RV, specifically sought out these qualities and found them at Rolling Hills. The park is noted to have a layout where the campers and mobile homes are not situated in close proximity to each other, suggesting spacious sites and a less crowded feel compared to some other parks. This separation likely contributes to the overall sense of quiet and privacy. The presence of on-site owners who are available daily is another positive aspect of the environment, providing a sense of security and immediate assistance should any needs arise. The park's location, while providing a peaceful setting, is also conveniently located within a 10-minute drive to essential services such as propane suppliers, grocery stores, restaurants, and a Walmart, blending tranquility with accessibility.
The services and features of Rolling Hills Mobile Home and RV Park appear to be well-received by its visitors. The on-site owners are highlighted for their availability and willingness to assist residents, indicating a responsive and helpful management style. For RV travelers, the park seems well-suited to accommodate larger vehicles, as mentioned by the superintendent with a 42-foot fifth wheel. The availability of essential amenities within a short drive is a significant convenience, making it easy for residents to access necessities without extensive travel. While specific on-site amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or hookup details are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, the focus on safety, quietness, and the responsiveness of the hostess (Kristie is specifically named and praised for being "awesome and accommodating") suggests a well-managed park that prioritizes the comfort and security of its residents. The fact that the park is described as "older" by one reviewer implies that while it might not have the newest facilities, it compensates with a well-maintained and secure atmosphere.
A key feature of Rolling Hills Mobile Home and RV Park is its suitability for a diverse range of residents. The mix of mobile homes and RV sites suggests a community that welcomes both long-term residents and those needing temporary accommodation, such as traveling workers. The spacious layout, as noted by the separation between sites, is a significant advantage, offering more privacy and a less congested living environment. The strategic location, being a 50-minute drive to the south side of Charlotte, makes it a viable option for individuals working in the greater Charlotte area who prefer a quieter living environment outside the city. The positive experiences shared by both a long-term (in the context of a few months for a traveling worker) and a potentially shorter-term resident underscore the park's ability to cater to different needs and durations of stay.

Rolling Hills Mobile Home and RV Park Reviews
As a traveling construction superintendent with a 42' fifth wheel, I look for a safe and quiet place to stay. Rolling Hills is about half mobile homes and half traveling construction folks. This park is safe, quiet and the campers / mobile homes are not right on top of each other. The owners are onsite daily and available if you need anything. A 10 minute drive to propane, groceries, restaurants and Walmart made it an easy stay. A 50 minute drive to the south side of Charlotte. This is where I will stay anytime I am working around Charlotte. Matt Gregory
