Glen Laurel Introduce
If you are searching for "Mobile Home Parks Near Me" in the Concord, North Carolina area, Glen Laurel, situated at 3320 Glen Laurel Dr, Concord, NC 28025, USA, is one option to consider. You can reach them at (704) 786-4044 or via mobile at +1 704-786-4044 for inquiries. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Glen Laurel based on recent customer reviews available online, highlighting both potential benefits and drawbacks for prospective residents.
One of the initial points raised by a resident who has lived at Glen Laurel for some time is a concern regarding the increasing lot rent. This resident stated, "The lot rent keeps going up but you get nothing for it. No service, no lawn care and there is no way to sign a multiple year lease." This suggests that residents may experience annual increases in their lot rental fees without a corresponding increase in services or amenities provided by the park. The lack of a multi-year lease option could also be a factor for those seeking long-term stability in their housing costs.
However, a more recent update from the same reviewer, dated 7/23/24, presents a more positive aspect of the park's management and maintenance. The reviewer recounted an incident where a tree fell on their home, blocking the entrance. They called the emergency number and reported that "Frank, the maintenance guy was at my house within an hour. He arranged to have the debris cleaned up and removed the next day(Sunday). I really appreciate the help getting this taken care of so quickly." This prompt and efficient response to an emergency situation led the reviewer to update their rating to 4 stars, indicating a positive experience with the park's maintenance team in critical situations.
Despite this positive experience with emergency maintenance, another reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the consistent rent increases and the perceived lack of added value. This resident claimed, "Every year the rent goes up. How much can u possible charge for such a small area of land? Rent is now close to 750 which is more than mortgage payment. Every year it goes up and nothing extra is done through the year. They don't wheel out your trash and bring it back to your home. They don't cut your grass but yet wanna overcharge you if they have to do it." This feedback suggests that residents are responsible for their own lawn care and trash management, and that these services are not included in the increasing lot rent.
The same reviewer further elaborated on their negative experience, stating, "Bring your lube if u move here cause they'll screw you. They are all about getting u in to take that deposit but won't tell you in 3 years your rent will go up 100$ to the point it makes people move out...then they do it again and collect the next person's deposit and so on and so on. My neighbor has lived here for 10 years and they raised his rent every single year! Don't move here!!" This strongly worded feedback highlights concerns about the long-term affordability and transparency of the rental increases at Glen Laurel. The implication is that the cumulative effect of annual rent hikes can make living in the park increasingly expensive over time, potentially leading to residents having to move.
Based on the available reviews, here's a summary of the potential environment, services, and features of Glen Laurel:
- Environment: The park offers individual lots for mobile homes. The presence of trees is implied, as one fell on a resident's home. However, the general upkeep and aesthetic of the community are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews.
- Services: Emergency maintenance appears to be responsive, as indicated by the prompt handling of the fallen tree. However, standard services such as lawn care and trash removal are not included in the lot rent and are the responsibility of the residents. There is no mention of other amenities typically found in some mobile home parks, such as community centers, recreational facilities, or organized activities.
- Features: The primary feature seems to be the availability of individual lots for lease in a Concord, NC location. The proximity to local amenities and services in Concord is not specified in the reviews. The lack of multi-year leases is a notable feature mentioned by one resident.
- Promotional Information: Based on the provided reviews, there is no explicit promotional information available. The feedback primarily focuses on the lived experiences of current and former residents, both positive and negative.
For local users searching for "Mobile Home Parks Near Me" and considering Glen Laurel, it is crucial to weigh the information presented in these reviews carefully. The park seems to have responsive emergency maintenance, which is a significant positive. However, the concerns regarding consistent annual rent increases without corresponding service improvements, the lack of included lawn care and trash services, and the absence of multi-year lease options are important factors to consider for long-term affordability and budgeting.
Prospective residents may want to inquire specifically about the current lot rent, the history of rent increases over the past few years, and the terms of the lease agreement, including the possibility of multi-year leases. Understanding the full cost of living at Glen Laurel, including any potential fees for services like lawn care if performed by the park, is essential for making an informed decision.
It would also be beneficial to visit Glen Laurel in person to assess the overall environment and speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader perspective beyond the limited reviews available online. Observing the general upkeep of the park and understanding the sense of community could provide additional insights not captured in the written feedback.
In conclusion, Glen Laurel in Concord, NC, offers a location for individuals to lease land for their mobile homes. While emergency maintenance appears to be a strength, potential residents should be aware of concerns regarding annual rent increases, the lack of included standard services like lawn care and trash removal, and the absence of multi-year lease options. Thorough due diligence, including direct inquiries with the management and a visit to the property, is recommended before making a decision about residing at Glen Laurel.

I've lived here for awhile now and I'm really not thrilled with it. The lot rent keeps going up but you get nothing for it. I called the emergency number and Frank, the maintenance guy was at my house within an hour. He arranged to have the debris cleaned up and removed the next day(Sunday). I really appreciate the help getting this taken care of so quickly. That's why I've changed my rating to 4 stars.

Apr 14, 2025 · Chris JonesLive here for 3 years now. They failed to mention the rent will increase yearly. My rent is more than my mortgage. Every year the increase the lot rent with no justification as to why. It's their land but don't cut "their grass" but want to charge you 50$ to cut a yard that only takes 10 minutes to cut with a push mower. You would think after rent increase for several years they would at least use that money to hire a company to cut the entire community. The neighborhood gets worse by the year and the rent increases. It's a daily occurrence the kids liter in my yard on the way home of the school bus. It's not a great place to live. The pool is ran by a lady that has a gang of friends in the neighborhood and if you ain't in the friendly circle you be look at funny and laughed at when you do visit the pool. They don't wheel your trash or to the road even though they increase the rent every year without and reason why our explanation as to where that money is going. If they were honest and up front from the beginning and that in 3 years my rent works be more than my mortgage...id never woulda signed those papers. Don't move here... its only getting worse!. It's a scam. They take your deposit then raise your rent every year only to force people to move out just to re-sell and get their next victim to pay their deposit... only to raise their rent the next 5 years and make it unaffordable... then the cycle repeats itself. At their yearly rent raise...in the next 5 years... I'll be close to 1000 in lot rent and my mortgage is only 600. This place is a scam.
